So it was here all along. Why am I not surprised? Misun thought while staring at the small, waterfall pond she was so acquainted to.

Zelo had brought her, and the wolves here after she packed as much stuff as should could fit in her back pack. Apparently this pond she has grown so fond of was a door to the Faye realm. Somehow, to Misun, it felt only natural that it was. The fact that she would come to its waters so often, and that night she met Zelo here her feet had led her. It seemed all too fate worthy for it to be coincidental.

She couldn’t help but wonder if her mother used this portal. If maybe her and her father had rendezvoused here once upon a time. Yet that was in another time, in a life that wasn’t hers. How would thinking about that help her situation at hand?

“This is the doorway?” Luhan asked in wonder. Zelo nodded, half looking at the pack, and half at Misun.

“So how do we go through?” Xiumin asked. He was all for getting a glimpse at the secretive fairy world. It’s not often anyone besides a very high ranked person could visit a world that wasn’t their own, and his pack was definitely not high ranked. They were just a band of orphans that somehow bonded together to create their own pseudo family.

 “Only Faye can go through,” was the fairy king’s answer. Kris furrowed his brows, “Only fairies?” This was definitely news to him, how did the wolves get in way back when to launch that attack?

Misun glanced at Zelo surprised, “Then what about my father? How was he going to get through?” there was a twinge of panic in her voice. She couldn’t help but think maybe he had lied to her so that she would go with him. However her nerves were calmed when he backtracked, “I meant that only a fairy can open the door, but anyone can go through. As long as they have a guide that is. The portal can be dangerous for those without Faye blood. The path is confusing causing people to easily get lost.”

Misun nodded absentmindedly. The thought of getting lost didn’t scare her as long as her father would be able to get through. Besides, why should she be scared when she has the Fairy King next to her? She doubted he’d have any trouble at all.

“All right, well what are we waiting for? Open the portal, Fairy,” Sehun commanded. He wasn’t trying to be rude; he just wanted to make sure he went wherever Misun did. He didn’t want to be apart from her, even if it meant entering a world where all its inhabitants hated creatures like him. He would risk the scorn for her. He would risk anything for her. Not that he knew why exactly. He wouldn’t question it though. Sehun had followed his hyungs all his life, and when they weren’t around he would follow his head. Yet right now, with Misun around, he could only follow his heart; and his heart was for some odd reason leading to her.

Zelo frowned, “I never said I was bringing you wolves along.” Suho frowned right back, “I thought we agreed to help each other? We’re coming.” “No, you are not. I already told you I will not be able to protect you there. Maybe from the people, but not from the inner court, and definitely not from Yun’s parents.”

“You’re the King, how can you not do at least that?” Kai scoffed. “Because they want some to put the blame on; someone to string up and if you go then you are the ones that are going to suffer!” Zelo didn’t sound scornful when he said this. It sounded more like he was actually trying to protect them, but why? Why would this Faye who obviously dislikes Lycan-kind want to protect them? Misun sighed then finally turned to face the pack.
