EI - Remember

The drama play rehearsals kept on going and of course, every time you were near L you would blush and always stuttered your words. This ended up with you and L doing after school practices with the teacher and Jungmi was of course jealous of you.

You walked up to your locker to place your bag inside. You took out your books for the first period and closed it. You saw Soomin running towards you. "Hey ~~~~~~" she placed her arms around you. "Hey Soomin-ah" you greeted with a smile.

"So how is your play coming along?" she raised her eyebrows with curiosity. You lightly nudged her in the rubs, "What do you mean by that?" you shyly chuckled. Soomin smirked, "I mean with you and.." she looked around to see if the coast was clear and whispered, "L~".

Your eyes widened at the name. "What are you saying? Didn't I tell you that I don't like him" your answer wasn't very convincing to Soomin. She crossed her arms and looked at you with a 'really' face. "Don't lie to me ~~~~~ I'm your best friend and I know you too well" she poke your arm. You touched the part where she poked, "I'm telling the truth" you tried to remain a straight face.

She gave you a suspicious look, "... I still don't believe you" she said. You sighed and shook your head, "I give up. You can believe it or not" you walked away, leaving her behind.

"H-Hey!!" she ran up to catch up with you.

The two of you entered class and you sat down at your seat. Jungmi glared at you from across the room. You looked at her and totally froze up. [Why is she staring at me like that?]. She walked up to you, "I need to talk to you later on" with a small smirk she walked off. She saw Infinite standing in the doorway and flipped her hair. They looked at her and she beamed, "Hi oppas" she waved sweetly. Infinite looked at her and walked straight past her, ignoring her completely.

Everyone in the class giggled, even Soomin, Mina and Heejin. You couldn't help but smile at the amused scene. Jungmi glared at everyone and shot a death glare at Infinite. [They dare ignore me like that?]. She saw them talking to you and she clenched her fist tight. She saw L and smiled. [She did say that she didn't like L..]. She walked back to her seat and though of a plan.

You looked over at L and he stared straight into your eyes with a straight face. You slightly looked away and turned back to the front.

L continued to look at you. [There she goes again being like that]. He looked over at Woohyun who was calling you hotty, but you scoffed and rolled your eyes. [She's different when Woohyun talks to her]. L was growing curious.

The teacher came in and placed a bunch of papers on the table. "Class I have an assignment for you" he smiled. You all groaned and he shook his head, "If you are all going to be like this, how are you going to pass?" he handed out a reasonable amount to the people at the front, "Take one, pass it on" he ordered.

Everyone did as he told and when that was done, they all faced the front. He cleared is throat and wrote something on the board. "I want you guys to write this down" he began. You could hear complaints and whispering about the teacher. You took out your pen and paper and copied what the teacher was writing, but all you could think was what Jungmi was going to tell you later on. [I wonder what she's going to tell me after].

Lunch time finally came and of course you were once again poking your food, not feeling hungry. The other three noticed and Heejin nudged you, "Thinking about your crush?" she raised her eyebrows.

You looked at her and quickly shook your head, "How many times do I have to say I don't have a crush" you were growing irritated. Heejin placed her hands in front of her, "Whoa, it was only a joke".

Mina looked at you, "What's wrong ~~~~~?" she was concerned.

You sighed and shook your head, "Just thinking. Don't mind me" you shot them a smile. They nodded, but wasn't sure to believe you or not.

Jungmi walked over to your table, placed her tray of food down and leaned in towards you, "Don't forget to meet me at your locker after school" she gave you a serious look. You nodded and looked away from her intimidating eyes. She smiled, "Good" she got her tray and left with her friends following behind her.

Soomin looked at you and Jungmi, confused at what just happened. "What does she want to talk to you about?" she asked. You shrugged, "I don't know..".

"Do you want me to come with you? I don't want you to get hurt" Soomin asked. You shook your head, "Nah it's alright, she won't do anything to me" you reassured her. Mina and Heejin looked at each other with worried expression. You placed a kimchi in your mouth and slowly chewed on it, feeling uneasy at what Jungmi was going to say to you.

P.E.. class started and you were standing on the fields, waiting for the teacher to say what the activity was. You sat down on the grass and picked up random leaves and threw them in the air. You were bored out of your bones and of course Soomin, Heejin and Mina were talking about something that you weren't even paying attention to.

"Right ~~~~~?" Soomin asked. You looked up at her, "What? Yeah of course" you answered randomly. Soomin gave you a look, "You're dazing off again? What's wrong?" she asked, bending down to your level.

"Nothing is wrong" you smiled. She nodded and looked up to see L walking towards you,

You looked at her and directed your gaze at what she was looking at. Your eyes widened when you saw L walking in your direction. [Why is he walking towards me for?]. He stood in front of you and didn't look down at you, "We have drama practice now" with that he left.

You quickly stood up and wiped the grass off your , "Now?" but he didn't answer and continued to walk. You looked over at Soomin, Heejin and Mina who were smiling at you, a bit too wide. You gave them a weak smile and walked off to catch up with L.

Jungmi saw you chasing after L and her eyebrows furrowed together in anger. [~~~~~ you are not going to be Snow White for long]. She had an evil smirk on her face.

You and L had finally arrived in the drama room and of course the teacher wasn't there. You looked around and sat down on the extra table on the stage. "So who told you that we have practice now?" you asked.

"The teacher of course" he looked around, "I guess she's late" he looked at you. "Are you going to change into Snow White's costume?" he asked. You looked down at your grey shirt and black shorts. "What's wrong with my P.E. uniform?" you asked. He shook his head, "Nothing. It's not what a princess should wear".

You eyed him and looked around then swung your legs back and forth. Just when you were about to say something, the teacher walked in. "Sorry I'm late, there was a problem in the staff room" she apologised and placed her coffee on the small table. She looked at the two of you, "Okay, now you guys can start on the scenes we practiced on. Since the play is only weeks away, we need to practice hard!" she encouraged.

L nodded and you too. The teacher looked at her watch, "Oh I have something to do, Just warm up right now and I'll be back" she walked out of the room.

"W-Wait.. what are the warm ups?" you asked but it was too late the teacher was already gone. You sighed and looked at L, "I'm going back to my P.E.. class" you jumped off from the table and walked to the door.

L quickly grabbed your arm which made you turn your head to look at him, "We need to practice" he turned to face you and looked in your eyes, "So let's practice" he said. You were staring in his eyes and of course, you couldn't help but blush.

After practicing some lines from the play, you and L were not having an awkward silence. You stared around the room and saw something under the table. You walked over and bent down to see a shiny clip.

"What are you doing?" L asked. You jumped up and his your head on the table. "OW!!" you held onto the sore part of your head. L eyes widened, "What's wrong with you?".

You turned to face him, still holding onto your head, "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? Why did you have to snack up like that?" you had tears in your eyes because of the pain.

L just continued to look at you, "Then let's go to the nurse's office" he turned around and walked the other way.

You stared at him and silently got out from under the table and walked after him. You were lightly pouting and still holding on your head, heading to the nurse's office.

You were sitting on the sick bed while holding an ice pack on your head. You looked around and saw L staring at the posters.

"Does your head still hurt?" he asked, turning his head to you.

You moved the ice pack a bit, "Ow". L shook his head lightly and walked in front of you. You looked up and saw him staring down at you. "What?" you asked. Without a word he placed his hands on to of your's that was holding onto the ice pack. Your eyes widened at the contact. [He's holding my hand..]. You looked away, embarrassed that his hand and your's were touching.

"It doesn't hurt anymore right?" he asked. You slowly nodded, still not looking at him. He took his hand off and placed them inside his pant pockets, "Then let's head back to practice our lines" he casually walked out of the nurse's office. You stared at the door and your heart was slightly increasing. You took the ice pack down and looked at your hand. [What just happened? He touched my hand?]. You didn't realise buy you were smiling widely. [~~~~~ you babo, have you really fallen for this guy?].

You walked down the hallway to your drama class. You turned a corner and quickly went to a stop when you saw Jungmi leaning on the locker doors. She looked up, smirked and pushed herself off the lockers.

"I guess I'll just say it right now" she walked up to you.

"Say what?" you were confused, but then nervous and scared of what she was going to say.

She smiled, "Since I should save this for later but I need to know right now so give me an answer as soon as possible" she said. You gave her a 'what?' look. "Okay.." you said.

She cleared and straightened herself up, "I just want to tell you.. quit the play" she said with a serious face. Your jaw dropped, you couldn't believe what you have just heard. [Did she tell me to quit the play?]. You finally got out of your daze, "What are you saying? Why would I want to quit?".

She scoffed, "I think you know why I'm telling you to quit" she paused, "It's because of L".

"What's quitting the play got to do with L?" you asked.

She patted her forehead and glared at you, "Fine I'll tell you why. Since you told me that you don't like him, than what's the point of playing Snow White when you don't like the prince right?" she stated.

[But what happens if I feel for him already?]. You were about to open your mouth to protest when she beat you to it. "Don't tell me you like him?" she asked. "You don't like him do you?" she asked again. She lightly glared at you, "You told me that you don't like him".

You gulped, "I don't. Why would I like him and tell you that I don't? That would be stupid" you slightly chuckled. You looked down to the ground, knowing that you were a babo.

Jungmi smiled, "Well are you going to quit or not?" she was getting impatient.

"Quit the play.." you lightly whispered to yourself. You looked away, unsure of what to answer. [But I don't want to quit the play].

Jungmi sighed angrily and looked straight at you, "Tell me, if you don't like someone, why would you want to kiss them right?" she asked, tapping her foot on the ground repeatedly.

You nodded your head, knowing that she was right. "But then it's called acting. Isn't that the whole point of the play?" you asked.

She looked at you, "But that's acting whereas in my case it isn't" she proudly patted herself on the chest lightly. You looked at her weirdly, "Are you saying that.." you didn't want to finish the sentence.

"That's right, I like L" she announced. Your eyes widened at the announcement. "A-Are you serious?" you were lost for words. [Did I hear it right? She likes L?]. Jungmi nodded, "Yes I like him. So I should play Snow White because I actually have feelings for him" she stared at you, "Go quit the play" she provoked.

"But.. but.." you whispered. Jungmi stared at you, "Don't tell me you don't want to? You like him don't you" she said. Your head shot straight up, "No I don't!" you quickly answered. Jungmi smiled, "Then all I'm saying is quit the play" with that she turned and walked away.

You on the other hand was still standing at your spot. Not moving at all. Your body felt numb and of course your heart was hurting. The image of Jungmi getting kissed by L played in your head. You shook your head and slowly walked towards the drama room. [Should I quit or not?]. The whole walk to the drama room, L was always in your mind.

You opened up the door and L turned around from where he was standing, "Finally you made it" he said. You looked up and saw him. Your heart was beating and you placed your hand on your chest, hoping that it would sooner or later calm down.

"Why are you holding on your chest? Are you having heart pains or something?" he slightly chuckled and turned around to do his own thing.

[Yeah I do, it's hurting because of someone..]. You stared directly at L who had his back turned, "No.." you answered from his question before and slowly walked up the stage where L was. [What should I do? Half of me wants to quit but the other half doesn't because of him].

L turned around and saw your sad expression, "Why are you sad for?" he asked. You looked at him and shook your head, "I'm not sad" you pulled a fake smile. He slowly nodded and looked down at the script on the table, "Then should we start rehearsing?" he asked, holding up the book to you.

You looked at the book and hesitated for a bit. [Okay, let's just see how I feel about this guy first]. You slowly reached out and took the book. You looked at L and then back down to the book.

"Okay, let's start rehearsing" he said. You nodded.
