Taeyeon stood outside of the building and sighed before thinking to herself why she had come to such a place.

"Heaven's Night." Taeyeon mumbled aloud as she read the electric pink and red sign plastered on the building. "He wanted me to meet him at a bar?" Taeyeon grumbled before walking into the building.

Taeyeon hated the smell of bars...it reeked of depression, lust, loss, and for some, heartache. Yes, it was not the typical smell of alcohol and cigarettes that she hated but rather, the strong yet latent smell of human emotions...all combined together in one place.

Taeyeon saw her designated person of interest and walked toward him.

"Siwon." Taeyeon called with hands in her pocket.

"..." Siwon was laying down on the bar counter with his head resting his arms.

"Siwon." Taeyeon said a little louder, only to reach no success. Taeyeon took a breath and shook Siwon by his right shoulder.

"Siwon! Wake up! Siwon!!" Taeyeon called as she shook him.

"Huh? What?" Siwon slowly opened his eyes and looked around him. "Me?" He said a little slurred.

"Oh great. How much did you drink?"

"Drink?" Siwon pointed at me and squinted his eyes. "You're nooottt a copppp." He then let out a childish laugh. "I ammmm."

"Get up. Come on." Taeyeon tried to help him stand up but Siwon refused.

"No!" He wobbled and stood on his own. He then pointed a finger at Taeyeon while swaying unbalanced on his legs. "Youuuuu~"

"Tell me tomorrow. You need to go home." Taeyeon reached for Siwon only to have her arms aside. Taeyeon looked at Siwon in annoyance. "Yah!"

However, Siwon just continued looking at Taeyeon. "I-I hate youuuu."

"Tell me something I don't know." Taeyeon mumbled and let out a huff of breath. "Even when you're drunk, you're still mean."

"Want *hiccup* to hearrr *hiccup* a secret?" Siwon asked with drunk smile.

"No. I would like you to pass out so I can get out of here." Taeyeon answered as she rolled her eyes.

Siwon gestured her to come forth with his finger. When she refused, he was not happy.

"COME HERE!!!" He angrily demanded in his drunk state. Normally, Taeyeon could care less but she didn't want to start trouble in the bar with an angry and drunk Siwon.

"Okay. What do you want to tell me?" Taeyeon leaned her ear to Siwon.

Taeyeon widened her eyes as soon as she heard every word that Siwon had told her.

"And that's all. Good night!" Siwon happily exclaimed with wide smile before collapsing onto the ground.

Meanwhile, Taeyeon just stood still, not knowing how to process the information she had just heard. But there was only one person that will tell her if all that Siwon had said was true. Taeyeon took out her phone to call that person.

"Hello?"

Taeyeon looked at Siwon's sleeping body on the ground before answering. "Tiffany-"

*Meanwhile....

Sunny had just returned from one of the meetings with a client and walked past her James' room when she heard some voices coming from within. She was going to knock on the door until a name caught her attention.

"We need to find Jae."

Sunny was surprised to hear this name. It sounded really familiar to her.

"But James, I told you that we have searched and there has been no progress." Another man's voice was heard.

Sunny could hear James heavy footsteps walking toward the opposite side of the room. "He's alive. Trust me."

"But-"

"Shin!" Sunny flinched a bit upon hearing James yell. He sounded really angry.

Sunny looked through the small opening of the door to see James walking toward the other man in the room and rest a hand on his shoulder.

"You need to stop questioning me and just follow my orders." James was smiling but Sunny saw that he was tightening his hold on the other man's shoulder, making him slowly fall down in pain.

"Ahh!!" He screamed and Sunny could see the merciless nature in James' eyes.

"Next time-" James leaned down toward Shin's ear "-just obey." And with those last words, he let go of Shin and pushed him back in the process. James then turned around to look out the window.

"Get your out of here and find me Jae!"

Sunny saw Shin stand up slowly as she clutched on to his hurt shoulder and walk toward the door. Sunny quickly ran to hide in the corner wall to avoid detection. As soon as Shin's figure disappeared, Sunny entered James room.

"Who is Jae?"

James turned around to look at her. "You heard."

Sunny walked toward him and looked into his eyes. "Why do you need him?"

James chuckled and pushed Sunny aside. "Listen little girl. Just stay out of this and do what you're paid to do."

Sunny was in no mood to beat around the bush. "Is he connected to the 'Fall of the Phoenix'?"

James closed the folder he was looking at and glared at her. "How do you know about that?"

Sunny shrugged. " I'm an assassin. Who wouldn't know about such a powerful entity?"

James looked at Sunny, as if trying to decipher her words as lies or truth. While Sunny just stood still, not breaking eye contact.

"What do you know?"

Sunny shrugged. "Just the basics. Not as much as you I assure. But are you sure that what you're looking for is real?"

James leaned back into his chair and folded his hands together. "It's not for you to know and I would like to keep it that way Ms. Lee. Go rest."

Sunny was reluctant but nonetheless, bowed and left the room.

"Jae? Why does that name sound so familiar?" Sunny asked herself as she laid down on her bed. "Jae...Jae...really familiar indeed."

Amber knew that she should have just stayed away from the Jung's mansion but here she was, outside in the dark and cold, looking up at Krystal's window. The light was on and Amber had to fight against her urges to sneak in and visit Krystal. It has been a week since the breakup.

Amber took out her and dialed a number.

"Hello?"

"Jessica. It's Amber."

Amber could hear Jessica's sigh over the phone. "I know its you. What do you want?"

Amber hesitated, not sure if she could ask..or if she even has the right to. Just one question...that's all Amber wanted to ask but why was it so hard for her?

"Amber!"

Jessica's voice brought Amber back to reality. "Huh?"

"Krystal is doing much better. Although she is keeping herself really busy these days with school and helping my dad out at the company."

Amber felt relieved if not shocked. She wanted Krystal to forget her and if it meant keeping herself busy, then that's good.

"Thanks." Amber sincerly thanked the older Jung.

Even though it was a sign for Jessica to hang up, she didn't. "Why did you do it?" She bluntly asked, catching Amber by surprise.

Amber couldn't answer Jessica. "You don't need to know." She replied coldly. Jessica let out a dry chuckle.

"Amber. You don't need to give me the cold shoulders. I just want to make sure that you are firm on this break-up." Jessica said in a calm tone. "I know I shouldn't get involved but-"

"Just take care of her. Bye Jessica-unnie."

------------------------------------------------------------

Jessica put her phone away and walked to the living room, only to be met with Krystal who was setting on the sofa watching a variety show. Amber using formalities exemplifies the seriousness between her and Krystal.

Krystal smiled at her sister. "What's up sis? Want to join me?" Krystal tilted her head a little to the empty space next to her.

Jessica smiled back and sat next to Krystal. "When did you come home?"

"How was your day?"

"Okay."

"Did you eat?"

"Not hungry."

"How was work at the company?"

"Hm. It was okay." Krystal said with a shrug. Krystal was only giving Jessica short answers, which Jessica did not like.

Jessica shook her head and took the remote from Krystal's hand and turned off the tv.

"Yah!" Krystal yelled and leaned over to reach for the remote only to have Jessica throw it behind her.

"What is your problem?" Krystal glared at her sister, but it had no effect on the older Jung.

"Let's talk."

Krystal held her stare but slowly stood up. "Nothing to talk about." She coldly answered but was blocked by Jessica.

Jessica didn't scold Krystal but rather, she hugged her sister tightly. "Let it out. Cry if you want to. Don't keep it in."

Krystal's lips began to quiver and before she knew it, she was crying her heart out to her sister. Her hands tightened around Jessica's waist and Jessica could only rub her back smoothly. "That's the way little sis. I'm here for you."

-------------------------------------------------------

Tiffany did not know why Taeyeon had asked her to come to Siwon's apartment. Taeyeon had called her earlier telling her of Siwon's drunken state and for some reason, she felt like that there was more to Taeyeon's demand for her to come. Regardless, here she was, in front of Siwon's apartment door, not sure if she should knock or just enter the pin number. Siwon's door pin was the same.

"Come on Tiffany. Make a decision already. Knock or not?" Yeah, that seemed like the best choice if she wanted to avoided any misunderstandings with Taeyeon. However, teh door opened just before she could even knock.

"Tae-tae. How did you-"

Taeyeon just smiled at her and opened the door wide. "Next time, just enter the pin. I don't mind." And with that, she went back inside with Tiffany following. Taeyeon immediately went to the kitchen while Tiffany settled down on the sofa.

"Why did you call me here?" Tiffany asked as she entered teh kitchen too. "This is weird." Just being back in Siwon's apartment was awkward.

However, Tiffany looked at Taeyeon in confusion as soon as she saw the bowl of water that Taeyeon was holding in her hands. Taeyeon was looking at Tiffany with a small smile. "Here." She held out the bowl of water with a white small towel hanging on the edge.

Tiffany took the bowl and looked at Taeyeon with a confused expression. "Okayyyy...now what do I do with this?"

Instead of showering, Taeyeon gently pulled Tiffany's arm and led her to a room that she was really familiar with.

"Wait. Why are you taking me here?" Tiffany stopped and refused to go any further. She looked at the door in front of her and then at Taeyeon. "Why?"

Taeyeon opened the door and pushed Tiffany in. "He needs you right now."

Once Tiffany was alone in the room, and Taeyeon had closed the door, Tiffany slowly walked toward the figure lying on the bed.

"Siwon." Tiffany whispered and put the bowl on the table beside the bed. She could see beads of sweat on Siwon's face and immediately rested the back of her palm against his forehead. "You have a fever."

But Siwon only responded with a groan and 'mmph' sound. Tiffany quickly took the towel and dipped it in the warm water. She then squeezed the water out and began wiping Siwon's face and any skin exposed.

"Ti-tiffany?" Siwon began to gain consciousness and could see Tiffany hovering over him.

"Shhh. Don't move Siwon." Tiffany answered and pushed Siwon back down on the bed. Siwon lied back down but held onto Tiffany's hand that was resting on his chest.

Tiffany wanted to move his hand but stopped when she saw his eyes...it was full of sadness and...regret?

"I'm sorry." He whispered as he squeezed her hand a little. "I'm sorry for everything. I shouldn't have done that to you."

"Just rest. We can talk tomorrow."

"Please. I'm really sorry for what I did. I won't do it again." Siwon sounded like he was pleading now for forgiveness. Tiffany put the towel away and held his hand.

"I know you are."

Siwon didn't seem like he believed Tiffany but he was too weak to continue no matter how much he wanted to keep talking. "Please stay here with me. Don't leave." He pled as he closed his eyes.

"Okay."

When Siwon finally fell asleep, Tiffany slowly removed her hands and turned off the light. She then quietly left the room.

"Taeyeon." Tiffany took a seat next to Taeyeon who was sitting on sofa and listening to her Ipod.

"Fany." Taeyeon turned off her Ipod and looked at Tiffany with a small smile. "How's Siwon?"

"His fever has gone down a little. But you-" Tiffany held Taeyeon's hand and frowned. "-why did you do this?"

"He was drunk at the bar and I took him home. But when we got here, he began to have a fever and I've been taking care of him for while as I waited for you." Taeyeon explained.

"But why did you call me here?" Tiffany asked. She doesn't understand why Taeyeon would want to meet her at her ex-boyfriend's apartment. "This is just weird of you."

"..."

"Tae-tae?"

"..." Taeyeon just kept looking at their intertwined hands that was on her lap, not wanting to answer Tiffany.

"What's wrong? Tell me." Tiffany was getting worried with Taeyeon's silence. "Tae-tae."

"I felt like killing him." Taeyeon finally muttered in a cold tone. Tiffany was surprised by that statement.

"Who?"

Taeyeon pointed to Siwon's room. "Him."

"Why? What did he do to you?" Tiffany inquired. She doesn't want Taeyeon to have these kinds of negative feelings. It doesn't feel right to her.

Taeyeon kept silent again.

"Tae-tae." Tiffany urged again. "What did he do to you?"

Taeyeon suddenly stood up, not looking at Tiffany. "Nevermind. It's nothing. Let's go home. He should be fine now by himself." Taeyeon was going to walk away but Tiffany held her wrist. Tiffany stood up and faced Taeyeon.

"Tae-tae." Taeyeon turned her face away from Tiffany but Tiffany could see Taeyeon clenching her fists. "Tell me." Tiffany hugged Taeyeon and whispered into her ear. "Please don't be like this."

Tiffany smiled when she felt Taeyeon reciprocating the hug. "It's not what he did to me."

"Then what is it?"

"It's what he did to you." Taeyeon felt Tiffany stiffen and as  a result, Taeyeon tightened the hug. "When he told me what he did to you, I was so-so angry." Taeyeon said inbetween gritted teeth. "How dare he tried to-tried to-"

"But he didn't." Tiffany interrupted and loosened the hug a bit so she can look into Taeyeon's eyes. "It was in the past when Siwon and I were still dating."

Taeyeon cupped Tiffany's right cheek with her right hand and looked into her eyes. "When he told me tonight, how he tried to-" Taeyeon took a breath. "-to force himself on you, I feel so useless now."

"Taeyeon." Tiffany whispered and held onto Taeyeon's hand that was on her cheek. "Look at me." Taeyeon listened and looked at Tiffany again with glistening eyes. "Tae-tae. He knows what he did wrong. But I'm sure you now know that he tried to force me to have with him when he was drunk." Tiffany remembered that horrible and scary night and without knowing, tears was running down her eyes.

"Tiffany." Taeyeon hugged Tiffany tightly and let the latter cry in her arms.

"He promised not to hurt me and he did." Tiffany said as she continued crying. "He said it was because he was drunk. How can someone hurt the one they love and blame it on alcohol?!!"

"..." Taeyeon didn't say anything. She just listened. This explains why Tiffany is so hostile toward Siwon.

"I hate him! Hate him!" Tiffany was pounding her fists on Taeyeon's chest but Taeyeon didn't care. Tiffany was more important.

"Fany." Taeyeon loosened the hug a bit and wiped the tears from Tiffany's face. "Don't cry for him anymore. He's not worth it. You're right. A person should never hurt the one they love, no matter the situation."

"I'm here now Tiffany. I won't let anyone hurt you again. I promise." Taeyeon sincerly said as she wiped Tiffany's tears.

"Taeyeon." Tiffany called her lover's name in gratefulness and happiness.

Taeyeon only smiled in return and leaned down to kiss Tiffany. The kiss tasted alittle salty of Tiffany's tears but it was of love and honesty. As soon as they broke the kiss, Tiffany hugged Taeyeon tightly again.

"Next time, I'll put some medication in his drinks to make him have diarrhea." Taeyeon joked. Tiffany gently slapped Taeyeon's arm as they laid down on the sofa. Both decided to just spend the night at Siwon's apartment in case he needs anything.

"Fine. I'll tell Sooyoung to do it."

"Tae-tae." Tiffany said wiht a smile.

"Just kidding Fany." Taeyeon kissed Tiffany's temple. "Let's go sleep huh? Your eyes must be tired from all that crying."

Tiffany only nodded her head and kissed Taeyeon's jaw. "Good night. Love you."

"Love you too."

------------------------------------------------------

Yuri looked at the papers before her and smiled in satsifaction. "This is good. Make some final reviews and give it to me tomorrow." Yuri hung up the phone and leaned back on her chair.

"I hope you're prepared for what is to come Jessica. Your hard work might just go to waste." Just then, she received an unexpected visitor.

"You!" Yuri quickly stood up."What are you doing here?!"

The figure before her ignored the question and kept walking until she stood in front of Yuri. "I was sent to deliver a message to you."

"From who?"

"Yoona wanted to know when you want the plan to commence?"

Yuri let out an exasperated sigh. "She sent you here when she could've just asked me herself?"

"Sorry. You're the last person I want to see too but unfortunately, she's busy."

Yuri was irritated. "Fine! Just tell her that it will be happening really soon. I will personally meet her to let her know."

"Okay." The woman turned around and was just about to leave when Yuri stopped her. "Hyuna. Why are you helping me?"

Hyuna shrugged. "I just like seeing people suffer." Hyuna bluntly answered.

"Good. That makes two of us." Yuri said with a grin, with no knowledge of the evil smile that was plastered on Hyuna's face as she left the building.

"I like seeing people suffer indeed Kwon Yuri."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yoona entered the restroom and washed her hands. She was wearing a dress and was patting it down to get rid of some wrinkles. She then looked into the mirror and looked at her reflection intently.

"Im Yoona. You are crazy." She then let out a chuckle and shook her head lightly. "Why did you agree on this date? You pabo. Trying to be normal?" She asked her own reflection only to receive no answer. "What am I doing?" Yoona asked herself before looking down again.

"What are you doing Yoona?"

Yoona quickly turned around only to be pushed back hard against the sink counter. Yoona smirked at the figure before her.

"Ah Sooyoung. Its about time you showed up."

Sooyoung let out a grunt and tightened her hold on Yoona's throat. "You need to stay away from them!" Sooyoung warned in a venomous voice. "Or you will regret it!!"

Yoona laid her hands on top of Sooyoung's hands that was wrapped around and looked into Sooyoung's eyes intently. "Kill me then."

Sooyoung widened her eyes as if surprised to hear such a demand from Yoona but did not loosen her grip. "Don't push me to."

"Do it. It's not like your hands are clean to begin with. It's tainted...you're tainted by blood." Yoona countered boldly. Yoona knew she hit a strong point when she felt Sooyoung stiffen a little. She took this moment to push Sooyoung away from her.

Yoona rubbed her neck as if to soothe it from the pain caused by Sooyoung. Yoona just laughed at Sooyoung's weak state and walked right past her.

"Think about it. I'm right and you know it."

"..."

"Now if you'll excuse me. I have to return to my date. I don't want Taecyeon to think I ditched him."

As soon as Yoona left, Sooyoung slowly found herself walking toward the sink mirror. She looked at her reflection with a look of forlorn expression and slowly reached her hands to touch her reflection. She traced her reflection slowly but suddenly stopped.

"It's tainted....you're tainted by blood."

Those words echoed in Sooyoung's mind and it didn't take long until she quickly left the bathroom...not being able to handle how suffocating it was at that moment.
