“How is it going with the job I gave you and your sisters Yoona?”

 

Yoona looked out the balcony and took a quick glance at her boss. “It’s going fine. Shouldn’t be long before we catch those assassins.” She then turned her attention back to the outside world.

 

The boss stopped cleaning his bloody knife and stood up so he can walk over to Yoona. He turned Yoona around and held the knife to Yoona’s cheek and trailed down Yoona’s cheeks with it.

 

“You’re quite a beautiful woman.” The boss whispered ertedly and slowly. “It would be a waste for you to put yourself in harm’s way.”

 

Yoona scoffed and immediately took the knife away from her boss and kept a distance. The boss looked at Yoona, quite impressed.

 

“Sorry boss. Not interested.” Yoona bluntly stated and threw the knife to the wall behind her boss. The boss merely smiled at Yoona’s actions.

 

“See you later.” After Yoona exited, the boss chuckled to himself and took a seat on the sofa. He then took made a phone call.

 

“What do you want now?” a voice asked from the other line.

 

“I seek your assistance.”

 

“I’m busy.” Agonizing cries of pain and screaming can be heard in the background. “I have no time-”

 

“It involves the ‘Fall of the Phoenix’.” The boss said solemnly, knowing that one word is bound to catch the attention of the other person.

 

It was silent for a while until the other person spoke. “You are playing a really deadly game James.”

 

The boss, or now known as ‘James’, laughed, quite amused and unfazed by the other person’s statement.

 

“I conclude you’re willing to help me now?”

 

“…”

 

“I need you to find someone for me. I’ll fax the information over tonight.”

 

“James, who is it exactly that you want me to find?”

 

James stood up and walked over to the window that overlooked the city. “You’ll know soon enough. I’ll talk to you later…Shin.”

 

After hanging up, James sighed and closed his eyes.

 

“Night Ghouls…I know what you three are after. And all of you will not get it.” James commented gravely before a wicked smiled took form on his lips.

It’s been exactly 5 days after the misunderstanding between Taeyeon and Tiffany and it has been exactly 5 days that has passed that Taeyeon started to treat Tiffany no different than mere acquaintances. AND…it has been exactly 5 days since Tiffany has been trying really hard to fix things between her and Taeyeon.

 

“Ugh! I’m so horrible at this waitress job.” Tiffany slumped down on her seat and laid her head on her arms. Krystal just ended her classes and came to visit Amber. “All I’ve done is break dishes, give out wrong orders, confuse customers, anger customers and just more and MORE mistakes.” Tiffany mumbled sadly and in anger. Tiffany has been helping out in the bakery every day after work. She’s trying to make it up to Taeyeon and hopefully, Taeyeon will forgive her. “She hates me.” Tiffany sadly stated again as she sat at a table and looked at Taeyeon serving some customers. “She doesn’t even spare a look at me when I try to talk to her.”

 

“Tiffany-”

 

“She probably burned all the notes and letters I wrote for her.”

 

“Tiffie, she-”

 

“She doesn’t even want to see me.”

 

Krystal began to get frustrated with her cousin. “For the 100^th time-TAEYEON.LOVES.YOU!!”

 

Krystal’s loud voice got some attention and eventually, some people were staring at her table, including Taeyeon. 

 

“Hahaha. Sorry. I was just too excited to see ‘the’ KIM TAEYEON!” Krystal said in embarrassment and quickly sat down. Fortunately, some people began to agree with Krystal’s lie and forgot all about them.

 

Taeyeon, however, walked over to Tiffany and Krystal’s table. “Annyeonghaseyo. Welcome to Phoenix Bakery. What would the both of you like to have?” Taeyeon asked professionally and got out her notepad to jot down their orders.

 

“Taeyeon. It’s just us. You don’t need to be all formal.” Krystal said with a smile. Tiffany just kept staring at Taeyeon.

 

Taeyeon looked side to side before leaning down toward Krystal and Tiffany in the middle.
 

“Sorry. It’s the rules. Stay professional at all times. No exceptions.” Taeyeon whispered and quickly peeked at Sooyoung.

 

“Rules?” Tiffany asked, enjoying the proximity with Taeyeon’s face, forgetting Krystal was there. She felt like she was dreaming.  Taeyeon nodded her head but immediately retreated upon realizing the close proximity to Tiffany. Taeyeon still had to abide by Tiffany’s wishes of staying away from her.

 

“Rules made by that Shikshin over there.” Taeyeon pointed to Sooyoung, who was arguing with herself as to which pastries should be put on as the special ones for that day. Suddenly, Sooyoung stopped what she was doing and stomped over to Taeyeon and KrysFany’s table.

 

“Are you talking on me?!” Sooyoung demanded in irritation.

 

“Watch your language Soo!” Taeyeon then leaned down toward Krystal’s ear, keeping her eyes on Sooyoung. “Did I also tell you she has really sharp hearing?”

 

Krystal  giggled. “Ah…I see. Well then, I’ll just like to have my girlfriend if possible please.”

 

Tiffany opened her eyes in shock. How can Krystal be so inconsiderate? No…how can she be so cruel????

 

Taeyeon smiled. “Sure thing. One exclusive order of Amber Liu for Ms. Krystal Jung coming right up.”

 

Sooyoung was appalled. “Yah! Did you forget our rule?” Sooyoung then recomposed herself and repeated the rule. “Stay professional at all times. No-”

 

“-exceptions.” Taeyeon finished for Sooyoung and rolled her eyes.

 

“Yes. Good thing you remember. But what is this about Amber?” Sooyoung had her hands on her hips now.

 

“Says the girl who would give Jessica anything she wants when she visits.” Taeyeon countered with a smirk. Sooyoung was speechless…it was true. Sooyoung does do that when Jessica visits. “Like yesterday when Jessica said she was so thirsty and BAM! Sooyoung suddenly shows up with a mango smoothie and then just sits there looking at her the whole time.”

 

Tiffany giggled. “That’s true. By the way Sooyoung, Jessica will be coming back later so if I were you, I would do some revision.”

 

“What should Amber and I do with you Sooyoung? Should we punish you?” Taeyeon pondered and then she snapped her fingers. “I know! No ice-cream…for 1 WEEK!”

 

“FINE! Anything but the ice-cream!! As of now I will change that rule a bit.” Sooyoung surrendered and cleared before speaking again. “From now on, WE must all stay professional, with the exception of family, friends, and girlfriends. Happy?”

 

“I’m neutral.” Taeyeon spat out. “But I’m sure you and Amber are estatic.”

 

“Nice to know you care Tae. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need some more time for ‘me,myself, and I’.” Sooyoung walked back behind the counter, helped Amber with some customers and went back to looking at pastries.

 

“Anyways, what would you like to order?” Tiffany just kept on looking at Taeyeon, as if in a daze. “Hello???” Taeyeon then waved her hand back and forth in front of Tiffany’s face.

 

“Oh. Sorry.”

 

Taeyeon just shrugged. “Doesn’t matter. Just tell me what you want.”

 

Tiffany forced a smile after hearing Taeyeon’s cold words.

 

Krystal decided to say some good things for Tiffany, since it seems Tiffany got all depress again.

 

“Taeyeon. Be nice to her. She’s been working heard these days in the bakery.” Krystal said with a smile and patted Tiffany’s shoulder. Tiffany smiled at Krystal’s comment and help.

 

“She willingly helped. No one asked her to do it.” Taeyeon answered bluntly as she wrote something down on her notepad. Tiffany knew she shouldn’t be surprised or hurt by Taeyeon’s words and actions but she couldn’t help it. She just felt so small and worthless to Taeyeon.

 

“You’re right. I’ll just have cold water.” Tiffany forced a smile.

 

“Cold water in such a cold day? Okay. I’ll be back with your order right away. Thank you.” Taeyeon bowed and left.

 

As soon as Taeyeon left, Krystal took the seat next to her cousin to comfort her. “Tiffie. Are you alright?”

 

“Honestly…no.” Tiffany mumbled sadly. “I don’t know what to do anymore.”

 

“So you’re giving up?” Amber’s voice interrupted. Krystal quickly got up and hugged Amber.

 

“AMBER!!!” Krystal yelled in happiness and pecked Amber’s cheeks.

 

Amber smiled back and ruffled her girlfriend’s hair. “Taeyeon told me that my Princess needed me so here I am.” Amber took a seat next to Krystal and wrapped an arm around her waist. “So what’s going on?”

 

“Taeyeon’s still being old, cranky, cold Taeyeon to Tiffany again. Are you sure your ‘operation TaeNy’ with Sooyoung is working?”

 

Amber grinned and nodded her head. “It sure is.”

 

Krystal suspiciously looked at her sister. “I don’t see any improvements.”

 

“That’s what you see. Just watch.” Amber stated with a smile. “You’ll be surprised Tiffany.”

 

Tiffany just sighed. “I don’t think so.”

 

Just then, Taeyeon came back with their orders. “Alright. Little Jung got her servant and Ms. Hwang, here’s your hot chocolate.” Taeyeon put down the pink mug filled hot chocolate in front of Tiffany. Taeyeon then flinched a bit from the pain on her right shoulder.

 

“Omo! Are you okay? Is it still hurting?” Tiffany began to touch and examine Taeyeon’s shoulder but Taeyeon pushed her hands away. Tiffany frowned.

 

“I’m fine. Please…don’t touch me again.” Taeyeon then bowed and left. Tiffany slumped back down on her seat.

 

“Everything just gets worse.” Tiffany mumbled and wrapped her hands around her pink mug. She then traced the rim of her drink with her finger.

 

“I ordered cold water.”

 

Amber kept smiling, getting Krystal curious. “Why you so happy?”

 

“Our operation is working.” Amber said with a wide smile. “Look.” Amber then pointed at Tiffany’s hot chocolate.

 

“What about it?”

 

Sooyoung then walked over to the table with Jessica right next to her. “Taeyeon personally made that for Tiffany. This is why I advised you to develop a ‘behind the scene’ thinking.” Sooyoung joked.

 

Tiffany was shocked. “Chincha? She did?”

 

Sooyoung and Jessica took a seat at the table and nodded her head. “She sure did. She even used a pink mug since she knows its your favorite color.”

 

“Awww… the foam’s in the shape of a heart.” Krystal couldn’t help but let her excitement out. “She loves you. Eeekk”

 

Tiffany was smiling and just kept staring at her cup of hot chocolate. She then looked over to Taeyeon, who was bringing a table its order.

 

“I love her too.” Tiffany thought to herself with a grin and took a sip of her hot chocolate, enjoying it’s warm feeling in to her whole body. “And I’m not giving up.”

Finally, it was closing time.

 

“~I’m y and I know it~” Amber began singing to LMFAO’s song. She then grabbed Krystal and began waltzing with her.

 

“Yah! This dance doesn’t match the music.” Krystal said while giggling as Amber waltz around.

 

Amber just shrugged. “~Girl look at that body—I work out~Everybody stops and they staring at me~”

 

SooSica and Tiffany were just laughing at Amber’s actions. It didn’t take long before SooSica joined in the fun. Tiffany was dragged along.

 

“Ahem!” Taeyeon’s cough interrupts them. “We need to close up. Not play around.” Taeyeon looked at each one of them, avoiding Tiffany.

 

“Fine. What’s left to do?” Jessica asked.

 

Tiffany and Krystal gasped loudly.

“What?” TaeSooBer asked at the same time with bemusement. Jessica just rolled her eyes.

 

“Jessica. Jung. NEVER. CLEANS. OR DO ANY HOUSEWORK!” Krystal exclaimed in shock, causing Jessica to glare at her.

 

“You make me sound so lazy.”

 

“But it’s true. You are lazy.” Tiffany said with smile.

 

“And both of you are not?” Jessica challenged with a cold stare. “I don’t see any one of you doing any house chores at home too.”

 

Sooyoung quickly dragged Jessica to the kitchen while Amber pushed Krystal to the tables. If they stalled any longer, a fight will break out between the three woman.

“Sica. Wipe the dishes.” Sooyoung ordered once they got in the kitchen. Sooyoung quickly wiped down the stove.

 

Jessica looked at the dishes and saw so much. “All of these? By myself?”

 

Sooyoung threw a towel over her shoulder and walked over to the sink. “All you have to do is wipe these and leave it up there.” Jessica found Sooyoung incredibly hot while talking to her in her work uniform.

 

“Where?” Jessica lied, making Sooyoung push Jessica back on the sink while she pointed up the cabinet. Jessica looked up to Sooyoung’s face.

 

“Right there. If you can’t reach it, just leave it here and- Jessica are you alright?” Sooyoung looked down to see Jessica quickly looking down.

 

“Jessica? What’s wr-” Sooyoung couldn’t even finish  her question since Jessica stole a kiss from her. After the kiss, Sooyoung sat down on the floor.

 

Jessica got worried. “Sooyoung! Are you okay? What’s wrong?”

 

Sooyoung looked at Jessica and smiled. “Nothing. Your kisses just make my knees go weak.”

 

Jessica blushed and smacked Sooyoung’s shoulder. “Don’t say those things. It’s too cheesy.”

 

Sooyoung smiled and held out her hand. “Fine. Help me up please?”

 

Jessica happily took Sooyoung’s hand but was only pulled forward. Before she knew it, Sooyoung had sealed her lips with Jessica. The kiss was quick, but more than enough for the couple.

 

“Now we’re even.” Sooyoung said with a grin and immediately stood up to finish cleaning the stove. Jessica couldn’t believe what had just happened. Did Sooyoung just trick her into kissing her by using one of the oldest tricks?

 

“Sica! Hurry!”

 

Jessica snapped out of her thoughts and started wiping the dishes, stealing glances at her ‘Sooyoungie’ at times while Sooyoung did the same with her ‘Sica.”

“Amber! Why are the two of you sitting around?” Taeyeon yelled as she pushed the chairs back in.

 

Amber and Krystal were sitting on the counter eating ice-cream, watching Tiffany and Taeyeon clean.

 

“I’m the cashier and I cleaned my area already.” Amber answered truthfully.

 

“Krystal didn’t even do anything.” Tiffany complained. Krystal just stuck her tongue at Tiffany.

 

“I’m Amber’s girlfriend. She’s done so I’m done too.”

 

Tiffany was not happy. “That’s not fair. You can at least-”

 

“Quiet!” Taeyeon suddenly raised her voice, catching all three off guard. Taeyeon then turned her attention to the three woman.

 

“Amber. Krystal.” Taeyeon said with a cold tone as she slowly walked toward them.  Amber and Krystal immediately jumped down and started to back away.  Suddenly, Taeyeon grabbed both ice-creams and smudged it on the counter.

 

“NO!!!” Amber and Krystal yelled together as the looked at their ice-cream on the counter they were sitting on earlier.

 

Taeyeon just clapped her hands together to get their KryBer’s attention. “Oops.” Taeyeon covered with hand, to fake an apology. “My bad. Looks like the both of you have some cleaning to do.”

 

Tiffany laughed as Amber and Krystal wiped down the counter. She was laughing so much, she didn’t see Taeyeon smiling at her.

“Just forgive her already.” Amber leaned over the counter and whispered. “Look at how happy you make her.”

 

Taeyeon just continued looking at Tiffany.

 

“If you don’t love her, tell her so she can move on. Otherwise, don’t let her go.” Krystal advised and silently approached her pushed Taeyeon forward.

 

“Yah! Don’t push-*Gulp*- me” Taeyeon was pushed to Tiffany and was only inches away from her face.

 

“Taeyeon? Did you need help?” Tiffany asked with a smile.

 

Taeyeon vigorously shook her head and stepped back so Tiffany won’t hear her heartbeat.

 

“No-no. Um..I’m going to take out the trash. Bye.” Taeyeon then quickly grabbed the trashbag and walked outside. Amber slapped her forehead while Krystal just patted her back.

 

“So embarrassing.” Amber mumbled.

*Meanwhile…*

 

Lee Sulli sat in the bar, waiting for Hyuna. She took out her recorder and stared at it for awhile. It’s amazing how this little device can do so much damage in such little time.

 

“Sorry I’m late.” Hyuna took a seat next to Sulli and grinned. “I was caught up on some work.”

 

“It’s okay. So tell me, when are we finally going to put the plan in action?” Sulli asked as she put away the recorder.

 

“Soon. I’m sure you know that Amber and Krystal are now dating?” Hyuna asked with bitterness.

 

Sulli nodded her head and gave Hyuna a mocking smile. “Wae? You angry?”

 

Hyuna turned to look at Sully, eyes full of anger. “Believe me Lee Sulli. You wouldn’t want to know how I’m feeling.”

 

Lee Sulli felt like having a little fun. “Wae? Too scared?”

 

Hyuna just smirked before leaning into Sulli’s ear. “The only time a person knows how I’m feeling is when…” Hyuna then leaned back to see Sulli’s face.

“When what?”

 

Hyuna stared right into Sulli’s eyes. “When they are dead.” Hyuna then let out a sinister laugh.

 

“You’re crazy.” Sulli managed to comment, quite scared of Hyuna’s bipolar nature.

 

Hyuna stopped laughing. “Watch what you say Sulli. I can be your greatest friend but I can also be your worst nightmare.”

 

Sulli gulped. “What did I get myself into?” Sulli thought to herself as she felt the recorder in her pocket with her hand. “Doesn’t matter. I will not stop.”

“I’m telling you Heechul. That woman I met the other night looked like an angel.” Taecyeon stated, swooning.

 

Heechul put down his magazine and looked at his lovestruck friend. “Are you in love with that ghost lady?”

 

“She’s not a ghost! She’s real! And I’m not in love with her. I just want to know her more.” Taecyeon then returned to smiling like a maniac.

 

“Oh really? Then what’s her name?”

 

“Her name? Hm..interesting question.”

 

Heechul sighed. “You didn’t even ask for her name? Idiot!”

 

Taecyeon was offended. “Hey! I was so focused on your stupid coffee that I forgot! Give me some slack.”

 

“Don’t blame me. It’s your own fault.”

 

“I know. Heechul, will I meet her again?”

 

Heechul shrugged and picked up his magazine again. “I don’t know.”

 

Taecyeon looked at his friend angrily. “Don’t say that!”

 

“What do you want me to say then?”

 

“Say I will meet her again or just a simple yes will do.” Taecyeon said, a little calmer this time.

 

“Alright. Yes, you’ll meet that woman again Taecyeon. Happy?”

 

Taecyeon nodded his head happily and laid back down on couch. “Yup.”

“Here’s another one. Who’s ier: Won Bin or Hyun Bin?” Sooyoung asked.

 

“Won-Bin!” Amber yelled.

 

“Hyun-bin!” Jessica and Krystal yelled together and high-fived eachother.

 

“Really?” Sooyoung asked sarcastically. “What about you Tiffany?”

 

“Um…I like Won-Bin.”

 

“Yes! I like Won-Bin too. 3 against 2. In your face!” Sooyoung yelled and pointed at Jessica but immediately stopped when Jessica glared at her.

 

“Sorry.” Sooyoung said in a low voice and took her side next to Jessica again.

 

“Whipped.” Amber whispered.

 

“Amber!”

 

“Yes Princess?”

 

“Hold my hand now!”

 

“Okay.” Amber quickly ran next to Krystal and held her hand. “Better?” Krystal nodded her head.

 

“Wait. Taeyeon, who do you like? Won-bin or Hyun-bin?” Krystal asked, realizing Taeyeon never gave an answer.

 

“Neither.”

 

“What? That’s not an answer.” Sooyoung whined.

 

“It’s an answer for me.” Taeyeon spat back. “I don’t like any one of them.”

 

“Who do you like then?” Tiffany asked but quickly covered . Taeyeon turned around to look at her.

 

“TH”. Taeyeon answered and continued walking again. Tiffany didn’t know how to respond to that so she just followed Taeyeon.

 

“TH?” SooSica and KryBer asked altogether. “Who’s that? Does it stand for ‘The Hulk?” Amber asked, confused.

 

Sooyoung shrugged. “I honestly don’t know. Taeyeon’s mind is quite mysterious.”

 

“You two are so lame.” Jessica commented.

 

“Why is that?” Amber asked back, a little offended.

 

“Because the answer is so obvious.” Krystal added with a smile. “And you two are the brains behind ‘operation TaeNy’? Unbelievable.”

 

“We are!”

 

“yeah right. Let’s go Sooyoung.” Jessica then pulled Sooyoung forward.

 

“Tell me Krystal. Tell me!” Amber whined and pleaded, but Krystal just shook her head.

 

“You don’t need to know. Let’s go.” Krystal then pulled Amber too.

 

“But I want to know.”

 

“You’ll figure it out later.”

 

“Really?” Amber eyes opened in glee. “Really really?”

 

Krystal shook her head, quite surprise at how dense Amber can be sometimes. “No. Not really. Now stop asking me. You already know the answer.”

 

“I do? Oh yeah! I do!” Amber then began to think of who ‘TH’ was while Krystal just tightened her hold on Amber’s hand and smiled to herself.

 

“What a kid.”

After a while of walking around and joking with each other, SooSica, KryBer and TaeNy realized it was getting dark already. TaeNy was ahead, with SooSica in the middle, and KryBer at the end. All had a long distance between for privacy.

 

“Wow…we must be having a lot of fun. We’re walking quite slow today.” Amber commented.

 

“It’s alright. I enjoy walking home with you Am.” Krystal said and leaned her head on Amber’s shoulder as they continued walking. Amber smiled.

 

“Me too. It’s peaceful.”

 

“Amber.”

 

“Huh?”

 

“Amber.”

 

“What is it Krys?”

 

“Nothing.”

 

“Something bothering you?”

 

“Amber. I’m scared.”

 

Amber looked at Krystal and cupped her cheeks. “Why?”

 

Krystal looked up to look at Amber’s perfect face and complexion. Somehow, she knew that deep down, Amber wasn’t like all her ex-boyfriends.

 

“I’m scared that you’ll leave me one day.”

 

Amber looked at her girlfriend in amusment. “Why would that happen?
 

“I don’t know. I mean, you never know what might happen.” Krystal hid her real reason why she said such words. The bet has been eating her up and Amber being so sweet and caring toward her only made it worse. She had to make it right…

 

“Amber…”

 

“Wait. Don’t say anything.” Amber pressed a finger to Krystal’s lips and smiled down at her girlfriend.

 

“I want you to know something. Listen carefully Krystal Jung. I, Amber Liu, will not leave you alone. No matter what you will do to me or have done to me, I will not leave you. It’s a promise.”

 

“Then…will you…will you…hate me?” Krystal asked with sadly and with grief.

 

Amber’s eyes opened. “Bwohl?  Why would you ask me such a question?”

 

“Just felt like it.”

Amber got a little angry now. “That’s not a question to ask. Are you hiding something from me?”

 

Krystal began fidgeting around. Now’s her perfect chance…right?

 

“Actually Amber I-”

 

*Ring Ring*

 

“Hold that thought Krystal. Hello? Dugu?” Amber then walked alway to get some privacy.

 

“I have to tell her…as soon as possible.” Krystal mumbled to herself. When Amber finally came back, Krystal took the chance to tell Amber everything.

 

“Amber I-”

 

“Krystal. Are you doubting us?” Amber asked, her voice full of sadness. “Is that why you’re asking me these questions?”

 

Krystal immediately shook her head and grabbed Amber’s hands to hold. “NO! I’m not! It’s just that-”

 

“If you’re not going to leave me, why would I leave you? If you don’t hate me, why would I hate you?” Amber asked in one breath and rubbed Krystal’s cheeks gently.

 

“…”

 

“I can NEVER hate you Krystal Jung. And I will not leave you. Do you understand?”

 

Krystal felt tears about to erupt and immediately hugged Amber. She didn’t want Amber to see her tears.

 

“Krys? Princess? Did I do something bad?” Amber asked and hugged Krystal back.

 

“No. Just hold me. Don’t ask anymore questions.” Krystal hugged Amber tighter while Amber followed along, hugging her Krystal, as if protecting her from some danger.

 

“I hope you keep your words Amber.” Krystal thought to herself as some more tears seeped through her eyes. “I’m sorry.”

However, with SooSica…

 

“Why in the world would you wear heels when I told you we’ll be walking all day?!” Sooyoung lectured Jessica.

 

“I forgot?” Jessica said with a nervous smile. Sooyoung just stared at Jessica like a teacher would to a student who didn’t do his/her homework.

 

“Fine! It looked better with my clothes. I came straight from work. You can’t expect me to be wearing sandals or tennis shoes right?”

 

Sooyoung sighed. “No. I just want you to be more considerate of yourself. Wear your heels when you’re at work but when you come visit me like today, bring comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes. Understood?”

 

Jessica smiled and hugged Sooyoung. “OK! You’re such a caring girlfriend!”

 

Sooyoung hugged back. “And you’re such a sleepyhead.”

 

Jessica released a hug a bit to look at Sooyoung. She pretended to be angry.

 

“I’m a yhead. Didn’t we establish that fact already?”

 

Sooyoung chuckled at her girlfriend’s action. “Yes. We did. I think we also established another fact though.”

 

“What was that?”

 

Sooyoung intertwined her hands with Jessica again. “That you’re my cute, y, intelligent, beautiful and warm-hearted Jessica Jung-my girlfriend.”

 

Jessica felt so special and was really touched by Sooyoung’s words. It was sincere and Jessica can feel it.

 

“And you’re mine. That’s my fact.” Jessica asserted with a smile.

 

“Less romantic and sweet but I’ll accept it.” Sooyoung joked and continued walking again, with Jessica, right next to her. Sooyoung can feel Jessica’s hold on her hand tightening.

 

“I really mean it Sooyoung.” Jessica mumbled and looked into Sooyoung’s eyes.

“I know you do. And I really meant what I said too.”

 

“I know.”

 

“Good. Now take off your heels so I can piggy-back you home.”

 

Jessica took off her heels and happily took Sooyoung’s offer. Jessica was happy that she found happiness in Sooyoung, just like how Sooyoung found it in her.

“Taeyeon!” Taeyeon ignored Tiffany and just kept on walking.

 

“Taeyeon!!” Once again, Tiffany was ignored.

 

Finally, not tolerating Taeyeon’s coldness anymore, Tiffany used all her energy to catch up to Taeyeon and blocked Taeyeon’s way.

 

“Why are you avoiding me?” Tiffany asked. Taeyeon just looked away.

 

“None of your business.”

 

“Its my business.”

 

Taeyeon turned to look at Tiffany with a blank expression. “Why should a pathetic and heartless person such as myself associate with you? You never wanted to see me again remember? I’m just granting you your wish.” Taeyeon then shoved Tiffany aside and began walking again, faster.

 

Tiffany, however, just ran back to block Taeyeon’s path.

 

“IT’S MY BUSINESS BECAUSE I’M WORRIED! I’M SORRY FOR HURTING YOU TAEYEON! I WAS HURT TOO AND…AND THOSE WORDS CAME OUT…I-I-I’M SORRY.I-I---I LOVE YOU!!!”

 

Tiffany couldn’t talk anymore because she fell down on the ground crying her heart out. Taeyeon just stared at her, hurting just as much as the woman she loved.

 

“I don’t want you to leave me Taeyeon. I want to see you everyday and see you smile again. You’re not pathetic. You’re unique and wonderful. You’re not heartless. You have a warm heart, you’re sweet, caring and kind.  And I know that you-you-” Tiffany then looked up at Taeyeon with red eyes and tear stained cheeks.

 

“I what?” Taeyeon asked, her voice shaking a bit. But she still managed to stay strong. Don’t say it Tiffany…don’t

 

Tiffany slowly stood up and approached Taeyeon. From up close, Taeyeon had a better image of how much pain Tiffany was feeling.

 

“You love me too.” Tiffany finished. “Am I wrong?”

 

Taeyeon didn’t know how to respond. In fact, she did but she didn’t know if she should say anything. Should she really take Sun-Kyu’s advice? Is Tiffany being sincere? Can she trust her? In the end, only one answer came to her mind.

 

“I-” Taeyeon began but was interrupted by a voice that she has come to despise…a lot.

 

“TAEYEONNIE!!!” Sunny screamed and waved her hands to the couple before walking to meet them.

 

Taeyeon immediately stood in front of Tiffany.

 

“What do you want now Sunny?” Taeyeon asked in a deadly tone.

 

“Nothing much.” Sunny said with a smirk and looked at Tiffany. “You’ve gotten prettier Tiffany.”

 

“Don’t answer.” Taeyeon hissed to Tiffany and then turned to Sunny again. “You should leave.”

 

“I don’t want to. Why should I?”

 

“SUNNY!” Sunny turned and greeted SooSica and KryBer with a wide smile.

 

“Ah…here comes the posse. Hi Jessica. Hi Krystal.”

 

Jessica and Krystal just glared at Sunny as they took their place beside Tiffany.

 

“Are you and your sisters stalking us or something?” Sooyoung asked and stared at Sunny intensely.

 

“No. I just wanted to meet Taeyeon and I seemed to have interrupted a special moment between them.”

 

“At least you know what you did wrong.” Amber commented. “I thought you got all the answer you need from the other night.”

 

Sunny only folded her arms and looked at them in amusement. “Yes. I did.”

 

“Then why are you here?” Jessica asked this time. Sunny has created enough trouble.

 

“For matters that don’t involve you. However, for the sake of Kwon Yuri, I’ll be a bit nicer to you.”

 

Jessica just scoffed. “Kwon Yuri? I’m sure you’ll be doing her a favor by leaving us alone now.”

 

Sunny kept her cool. “My business is not with you Jungs.” Sunny then turned to Krystal and gave her a small smile.

 

“An old friend will be visiting you soon.”

 

Krystal raised an eyebrow. “Who?”

 

“You’ll know soon enough.”

 

“Sunny!” Amber yelled. “What is up with you?!”

 

“I think you should be asking Hyuna that question.”

 

Sunny then turned back to Tiffany and Taeyeon.

 

“Taeyeon, I came back to give you one last chance.”

 

Taeyeon stared at Sunny, just keeping quiet and observing her moves just in case she decided to attack.

 

“Are you really going to refuse me?”

 

Tiffany stiffened. “What if Taeyeon leaves me for her? No! she won’t! But wait! After what I’ve done, Taeyeon won’t ever forgive me…” All these thoughts ran through Tiffany’s head.

 

“No.” Taeyeon answered.

 

“No?” Sunny and Tiffany repeated at the same time. Sunny was smiling while Tiffany was frowning and looked at Taeyeon, trying to see any hint of forgiveness. Nope. None.

 

“No…as in I’m not going to take back my words.” Sunny’s bliss immediately disappeared while Tiffany just looked confused.

 

“Why?” Tiffany asked. Taeyeon turned around and looked at Tiffany warmly before intertwining their hands together. Taeyeon then walked up to Sunny, with Tiffany right next to her.

 

“I will not regret my decision Sunny. All the words that I have said to you that night…I am not taking back. Shall I tell you why?”

 

Sunny kept quiet but gave the TaeNy couple a murderous glare.

 

“Because I, Kim  Taeyeon, love Tiffany Hwang.”
