"Wake up, please."

The body laying unconscious on the hospital bed twitched a bit from the voice. But it was only a small action that seemed to have garnered alot of excitement from a particular person. 

"It's working. Call for her again!!" Another voice interjected with anxiety and support. 

The said person tried again... "Please. Wake up and come back to me."

Nothing.

"I know you can hear me. Come back to me. Do you hear?"

Nothing, again.

"Perhaps, we were imagining it?" A deep, manly voice was heard now. And few murmurs soon followed this comment, all unsure of what to expect now. " I mean, the time will come eventually, but just not now." The tone dropped down to one of comfort as the man approached and hugged the woman hovering over the patient. 

"No..I saw her move. She moved!!" 

"Honey. We all thought she did, but perhaps, it was just a figment of our imagination." Now another older woman's voice interjected in sympathy and gentleness.

"It has been 4  months! Donghae said that she is passed the critical stage after the surgery. Why hasnt' she woken up yet? Is it because, of me?" Oh that question was filled with so much forlorn and guilt that no one dared to answer. Not sure if their answer will suffice comfort.

Hover over the patient once again, the young lady spoke again, tears trailing down her eyes and down her cheeks: "I'm sorry. If this is your punishment to me, then please, I surrender." She pled, as she gently cupped the patient's cheeks with her hands. "Come back and be with me, Taeyeon."

At that precise moment, Taeyeon abruptly opened her eyes, scaring everyone, especially the woman that was hovering over seconds before. 

Taeyeon scanned the environment and upon seeing that it was not familiar, she immediately tried to sit up. Of course, this caused the guests in the room to freak out. Specifically, one woman.

"TAEYEON!!!! BE CAREFUL!!! " The woman rushed over to Taeyeon's side to help her in case of any more damage to her injuries. Taeyeon immediately grabbed the woman's arms and turned her so that her back was against Taeyeon's front. Taeyeon's eyes scanned the room and upon seeing a pen on the table next to her, grabbed it and aimed it to the side of her hostage's neck. This caused the older woman to run out of the room to get help, leaving the older man in the room.

"WHERE AM I?!!" Taeyeon demanded for an answer as she held the hostage closer to her, aiming the pen a bit closer to skin each second. "Tell me or I will kill her!"

The older man feared for what can happen and gently, but carefully answered, "You're safe."

"You're in the hospital. Why are you acting like this Tae-?" the woman was scared yet worried for Taeyeon's sudden new change of behavior. It was unexpected. 

"Hospital?" Taeyeon interrupted and scanned the room once again. It does look like a hospital room and she was wearing hospital gown. Taeyeon then remembered the events prior to her falling unconscious.  "Where are my sisters?l Don't even dare lie!!!!" Taeyeon demanded to know as she slammed the hostage against the wall. "TELL ME!!!" 

"You are bleeding!!" The hostage reached out for Taeyeon's arms, which had IVs that were about to come out. But Taeyeon slapped the hands away that tried to touch her and stared right into the other's eyes. 

"DON'T. TOUCH.ME. IF. YOU. WANT.TO LIVE." Taeyeon warned, not breaking eye contact with her 'hostage.'

"What's wrong with you?" was the only meek, hurt, response Taeyeon received from her 'hostage'.  

Taeyeon's grip loosened unknowingly when guilt began to seek into her being upon seeing the hurt on the other woman's eyes and expression. Suddenly, someone barged into her room.

"Dad!!" Taeyeon threw her 'hostage' down to the floor, took off her IVs and advanced toward her dad, leaving a trail of blood behind her. She was still weak but she can still defend herself. 

The so called 'hostage' was appalled and still shocked as she remained on the floor. What is going on?

"Kim Taeyeon! What have you done?!!!"

"Dad! We have to leave now! Amber and Sooyoung are-"

"Calm down. You need to go back and get some more rest." He reprimanded but held Taeyeon steady. "You are safe."

"But I-" Taeyeon got in defensive mode again when 3 strangers entered her room, rushing to aid of the woman that Taeyeon had pushed earlier. "What is going on? Why was I with them?" 

"Taeyeon." 

Taeyeon turned to stare at the woman who had called her name. "Shut up!!! Get away from me!!!" 

"Calm down Taeyeon. It's okay." 

"No! Nothing is okay dad. Where are my sisters?!!! And what happened to Sunny?!"

"Taeyeon-ah. Please stop. You are scaring us." Taeyeon turned her attention to the older lady that. had just spoken and creased her eyebrows in confusion.

"Don't tell me what to do. Take care of yourself." She warned.

"Kim Taeyeon! Watch what you say!" Jae warned and turned to the woman, who was surprised by Taeyeon's sharp response. "Mrs. Hwang. I apologize for my daughter's stupidity."

Taeyeon was going to say something but stopped when she felt a warm feeling enclosing her bloody left hand. Quickly looking down at what the source of warmth was, she realized it was another hand, holding on to her own.

"Taeyeon-ah. Please stop. You are scaring me." The soft, yet firm grip on Taeyeon's hand tightened when these words were said. Taeyeon just could not understand the meaning behind these actions. 

"Let go of me." Taeyeon warned. 

"No."

Taeyeon looked at everyone else in the room for assistance but received none. She the looked at the person who dared to touch her. "Let me go or else I will hurt you."

"Why are you treating me like this? What's wrong?"

"Tiffany. Let her go." 

Taeyeon's eyes widened in confusion, then shock and then, anger when she heard this name come out for her father's lips. 

"Tiffany???"

Tiffany nodded her head, acknowleding Taeyeon's inquiry.

Suddenly, Taeyeon had fallen unconscious and fell into Tiffany's arms. And this, most definitely, scared the f**k out of Tiffany. 

Once Jae laid his daughter Taeyeon to rest again on the bed and the nurses have finished reinserting the IVs, he sighed deeply. "I'm sorry about her actions. I am surprised as well. I wasn't expecting such hostility from her. She must still be confused and disoriented after so long.”

"I-I really hope so Uncle. It-it just seemed like Taeyeon didn't know or remember my parents or...me." And that vulnerable, painful confession, scared Tiffany so much.

Those events took place 1 month ago....

Krystal carefully opened the door to Tiffany's room, hoping to not disturb the latter who had just come home after a long, arduous day at work. Not to mention, the ordeal with Taeyeon is still weighing down heavily on Tiffany. 

"Krystal. What is it?"

Krystal almost dropped the food tray when she heard Tiffany. "Ah! You're awake."

Tiffany chuckled and sat up on her bed. "Yeah. I could not go to sleep. And I'm not hungry."

Krystal sighed and set the food tray on the table. "These were for me but I didn't have an appetite so I brough it for you. It seems like you need it more."

"No thank you."

"Okay then." Krystal sighed and sat next to Tiffany. "So, how is it going? Did you find her yet?"

"No. She really doesn't want to be found." Tiffany grimly answered, laying down on her bed with an arm over her forehead. 

Krystal felt bad for Tiffany. As soon as Taeyeon woke up after the events in the hospital 2 months ago, she and Uncle Jae just disappeared. No one know where they went. Not even Donghae. At least, that's what he has has been telling Heechul and everyone else. Tiffany was determined to find Taeyeon so she hired the best private investigators but so far, no news.

"How about Amber?"

Krystal sighed and laid down on the bed too. "She still wants nothing to do with me."

"I see. That's horrible."

Krystal shrugged and held in her tears. It was a miracle that Amber recovered from all her injuries except for the cuts and broken bones that she acquired. Just like Taeyeon, all her major internal injuries were healed over night.  JeTiKrys knows that Uncle Jae had something to do with their miraculous recovery.

"Amber disappeared."

"Again?"

"Yeah. The last time I met her at the hospital, she literally shunned me away and told me she want's nothing to do with me. Amber hates me thats for  sure."

"She does not trust you then?"

Krystal shook her head. "No. And I don't blame her."

"You told her everything? Even what she saw that day in your office?"

"Yes. I told her the truth about everything. But she, wants nothing to do with me even after the fact. "

Tiffany shook her head at Krystal's actions but she wasn't any better. "We all did things opposite how we felt and now, we are all getting punished for it. We just have to learn from our mistakes. But at least, Amber is still here where you can see her when you want and talk to her." Tiffany tried to cheer up Krystal and it was the truth. Unlike her and Jessica, who can't even see the one they love anymore.

"Unnie. Don't say that."

"It's true. And as for Jessica, she is still waiting for Sooyoung."

"Jessica-unnie really does not believe  that Sooyoung is dead. Her body was never found. If i was in her shoes, I would not believe it too."

"Hyoyeon was the one that informed us about the location of where Sooyoung could be found. The tracking device implanted in Sooyoung' s bracelet was found on the edge of the cliff. So, most likely, both of them fell down the cliff." Tiffany sadly retorted. " Jessica has never been so broken."

"My dad told me she had a dream about Sooyoung too on the same day. In the dream, Sooyoung had died." Krystal sighed and closed her eyes. "Amber is still with me but at the same time, she is so far away. So, so far away." Krystal mumbled the last part before falling asleep. 

Tiffany covered Krystal with the blanket and gently patted Krystal's head. Krystal is so regretful and always blamed herself for what had happened to Amber. She still remembers everything Krystal told her about the events that had transpired on the last day she saw Amber in her office:

*Flashback*

Amber couldn't believe the scene unfolding in front of her eyes. Krystal and Kai...barely dressed and kissing in Krystal's office she shared with Amber. Kai was shirtless while Krystal only had on a black tanktop and....ugh! Amber doesn't even want to know if she was wearing anything from her waist down.

Krystal was the one who saw Amber first. She smirked in her kiss with Kai and stopped, confusing Kai. "Amber."

Kai stopped and tried to turn around but Krystal stopped him. "No need. Amber is just here for the show. Right?"

"Krystal. How can you do this to me? I thought you said there was nothing between the two of you?!" 

"I lied."

Amber didn't want to believe it. There must be a logical reason why Krystal is doing this. "Did he force you? Or maybe both of you are drunk? That's why right? I understand. I'll forgive you." She tried to deny everything but in the end, it was useless.

"We are over Amber Liu. What you saw is real. He and I are Real. You and I, are over. Understand?"

"But why? I never stopped loving you and you know that everything I have done was to protect you and your family."

Krystal leaned her chin against Kai's shoulder and brought him closer to her as she spoke the next words. " From now on, this man in my arms will be the one for me. You are now in my past and nothing but a mere experiment. The end result was unsatisfactory." 

"Krystal. Don't do this to me. You know I still love you."

"But I HATE you. I Hate you more than anything in this world! You are nothing but a low, poor, despicable, disgusting peasant that wants nothing but my fame and money!!! I can not stand the sight of you. Now leave!!!!!"

Amber fought back her tears and turned around, to hide her weakness. "I'm happy I was able to be loved by you, at least, that is what I felt. But now, I know it was always on my part only. I'm a fool for love, again. Goodbye Krystal. Be happy."

*Flashback ends*

Tiffany walked out to her balcony and looked up to the stars, hoping that somewhere, Taeyeon was thinking of her too.

"Where is Sooyoung?" 

Donghae sighed and took a seat across from Jessica and Tiffany, who were currently in his office. "Jessica. We went over this already. Sooyoung, is dead."

"No. I don't believe it."

"Then don't. I won't force you."

"Where is Taeyeon?"

Donghae looked at Tiffany and folded has hands together before placing it on his table. "Tiffany. I hate to repeat myself but once again, I don't know."

"Bullsh*t. I know you know where she is. And I also don't believe Sooyoung is dead. Her body was never found."

"That may be so but then, have either of you two found them? As in, is Sooyoung alive?" He glanced at Jessica and then to Tiffany, " or where Taeyeon is?"

"..."

"My father has disappeared too on the same day of Taeyeon's disappearance. I lost 2 family members on the same day, and as for Amber, she is as good as dead. So I would it if both of you would leave these matters alone. Everything has happened already. What's lost is lost.  And what will come back, will come back. Now leave. I have nothing more to say."

A tall, lonely figure stood over the hill overlooking Seoul in its night light wonders. It was a beautiful night and yet, the features on the figure's face stays grim. The figure had a sling on her left shoulder and arm and bandages on her other arm. Soon, another person joined in standing on the side.

"Amber. How is everything going?"

"Alright. I guess."

"And Krystal?"

"What about her?"

"Are you still giving her the cold shoulders?"

"I am not indebted to her nor have any more reasons to see her. So, drop it."

It was quiet for a few more minutes, both people with their own thoughts.

"How are you doing? Are you recovering well?"

A chuckle was the answer Amber received. "Aside from my broken arm-" the unknown figure held up the casted arm "-and a few other deep wounds, I'm fine."

"That's great."

"I need to leave."

"Why?"

"Why not?"

"Is it because of Krystal?"

"Partly. And because I want to start anew somewhere else. Just like you and Taeyeon."

"You don't want to fix things with Krystal?"

"What about you and Jessica?"

"What about us?"

"Jessica believes that you are still alive Sooyoung. And you are. How long will you continue this charade? You even have Donghae on your side."

Sooyoung smiled and looked at Amber. "She is better off without me."

"Exactly how I feel about Krystal."

"Let's change the subject."

"Where is Taeyeon?"

"Dad won't tell me exactly where they are right now. Taeyeon is having some...troubles."

"Her memory?" Amber knew it must be that since she was also told about Taeyeon's outbreak at the hospital a month ago. "I thought it was temporary?"

Sooyoung nodded her head. "Doesn't seem like it. And dad is concerned about Tiffany."

"Why is that?" Amber was perplexed at such comment. "Why her?"

"Because when I see this Tiffany-" a voice interjected from behind Amber and Sooyoung, causing both women to turn around to see who had just arrived. "-she will have alot of things to answer to."

"Taeyeon?!!!"

"Wae? Surprised?"

"Well, yes. Dad didn't tell me you were going to come back today."

Amber observed Taeyeon, and she was bandaged up as well, with bandages seen on her shoulders and on her face. "What's going on?"

"Both of you know someone by the name of Tiffany Hwang Miyoung?"

"Uh..yes. But so do you."

"Take me to her."

"Are you crazy?"

"No. She has something valuable that belongs to me. I came here without dad's knowledge and I want to meet this Tiffany Hwang as soon as possible."

"Taeyeon. Why do you speak of her so distantly? As if you don't know her?"

Taeyeon stared at them sternly before replying, "I don't know her. I don't know anyone by the name of Tiffany Hwang Miyoung."
