I'm back!!!! I gotta say, I almost wasn't going to continue this story anymore. But I've been thinking and knew that if I stopped, I would disappoint myself and my readers. So I will continue. Hopefully, my writing has gotten better. I would appreciate it if all of my readers, including my silent readers, would leave me a comment. I'll appreciate it. But I won't force anyone to do that since that's just how i am. :D Now..back to PHOENIX SISTERS!!!

*Somewhere…*

“Unnie, are you sure they will show up tonight?” a brunette woman asked as she leaned on the couch. No doubt anyone who had seen the brunette would be stunned at her beauty and y curves.

“Yes I am. Now go prepare. You’ll be meeting Amber later on tonight during her mission.” The other girl got the hint and left the room to prepare for that night.

“So what am I suppose to do then?” a tall girl spoke from behind her Unnie. “Should I sit here and babysit?” She joked.

“Shut up. You’re going with me to the morgue.” The tall girl stood up and did some stretches after hearing the strict tone.

“And you’re sure that Sooyoung is going to be there?”

“Yes. Now shut up and leave me alone.”

“Sheez. A simple ‘okay’ would suffice. Fine, I’m outta here. Smell ya later. Not literally though.” The tall girl then chuckled and left. The shorter girl just ignored her sister. She wasn’t really fond of jokes.

“I can’t wait to see you again....” The short girl mumbled to herself as she looked over Seoul city from her balcony as she twirled a knife with her hand. When she re-entered her room, she quickly threw the knife to a cockroach that was on the wall. “…Taeyeon.” She then let out an evil smile.

The cold air is nothing compare to the agonizing screams and yells of the guards that were getting killed off one by one by an intruder.

“E, when you get to the first floor, be careful since it’s bombarded by laser beams.” A manly voice warned over the earpiece.

The intruder nodded her head unconsciously as she grabbed the hand of a bodyguard and easily broke it. The guard screams in pain but the intruder could care less. It was nothing new.

“Why did you give me this mission “Blue”? There are so many guards here.” The intruder said with a smirk as she kicked another guard in his guts.

“Shut up! Focus!” The intruder chuckled before rushing to the door and kicking it open. Of course, just like Blue had warned, laser beams were set as a device for an alarm, which is what E did not want.

“Blue, is there any way you can shut down the system controlling the beams?” E asked back quietly, examining the area in the process.

“I can’t. It has to be done manually. There should be a yellow button to the right of your position. I’m sure you know what to do next.”

“Alright. I see it. Thanks.” The intruder knew perfectly well what had to be done. However, before the intruder took any steps further, another voice came through the earpiece.

“Give me an update E.” the voice demanded. No doubt, the speaker was walking as she spoke because E could hear the little pants.

“I just got into the first floor Nix. I was able to take out all the guards outside but the first floor seems to be a little more…heated.”

“What do you mean by that?” Nix continued.

“There’s laser beams that are preventing further entrance. I’ll have to take out the power source manually.”

“That should not be a problem at all E.” Another voice has spoken and E knew really well who it was.

“Yes Pho. I know what to do. Now leave me alone so I can do it.”

“Alright. Remember though, give us an update every 15 minutes.”

“Yes Pho.” When E didn’t hear any further interruptions, it was time to get busy. E picked up a stone from the ground and studied the angles and positions of the beams carefully before making any movement. Even the slightest touch, could make the alarm go off. 

“Here goes nothing…”

*bam*

Success!! E was able to successfully take out the power button. In a few seconds, all of the beams disappeared.  E, however, took a breath of relief before sprinting toward the next level.

“Alright. What level is this er on Blue?” E could hear faint noises of a keyboard before getting a response.

“3^rd level. But when you get to the second level, there should be an air vent somewhere around there. Find it, and use the vent as your path to the target. It would be safer that way.”

“Alright.” Just like Blue said, there was indeed an air vent. E took the vent and eventually was able to reach the 3^rd floor.

E didn’t need any more instructions on what to do next. E opened the door and approached the target, slowly and carefully.

“About time you showed up Night Ghoul.” The target was sitting on a chair, with its back turned toward the assassin.

“…”

The target then turned the chair around and faced the assassin.

“I think you should be concerned for your own life.” The target stated with a evil smirk.

“Look here Mr. Jang. I don’t have time to play a game of cat and mouse with you. Now be a good boy and tell me where you kept the guns.” E demanded harshly. However, Mr. Jang was unaffected and stood up from his chair.

“Ah…so you’re a girl? Interesting..so she was right.” Mr. Jang muttered as he chuckled. He then glared at the assassin. “You are messing with the wrong guy Night Ghoul. And I won’t be telling you the location of the weapons. I am forever loyal to Mr. Shin.”

“Really? Then let’s us both see how long that loyalty of yours will last Mr. Jang.” Just as E was about to attack, a rose was thrown at her. E quickly reacted and sliced it in half. Just then, a woman’s laugh and clapping could be heard in the room.

E froze in her place. That laugh…it was all too familiar.

The woman then stood next to Mr. Jang and gave E a smile. “Nice to see you again.” Mr. Jang looked at the woman in confusion. Why wasn’t she attacking the assassin?

“Yah! You’re suppose to kill that !! Not make friends!” Mr. Jang screamed as he turned the woman around. It seemed that he made the wrong move because in an instant, he was screaming in pain. The woman had Mr. Jang in a chokehold and would’ve squeezed the life out of him if not for E.

E quickly removed the woman’s hold from Mr. Jang and quickly elbowed his face. As Mr. Jang groaned in pain, E could feel a pair of eyes staring at her from behind.

“Stop staring…or else I’ll personally pluck out your eyes.” E warned as she held on to her sword tightly. Her back was facing the woman.

“Ohhhh….I’m so scared…” The woman then walked up to E but was only greeted with a slash that she quickly dodged.  E then turned around to face the woman, keeping a calm and serious composure.

“If you’re here to protect this bastard here, then you’ll die too.” However, the woman just laughed at E’s warning.

“Go ahead and kill him. I don’t care.” The woman shrugged. Mr. Jang looked at his so called “protector” in shock.

“You ! You’re hired to protect me!! So you better-” However, before Mr. Jang could finish his sentence, he was silenced by E.

“Shut up you ! Now tell me, where are you keeping the weapons?” E lifted her sword to Mr. Jang’s throat as she spoke. Honestly, E could care less about the woman that was in the back of her.

“…”

“You’re really stupid Mr. Jang. You thought that your boss sent that lady right there to protect you? You’re an expendable asset.  So why don’t you do the right thing before dying?”

“No! you’re lying! Mr. Shin will never do that to me! I will him help him succeed. I’ve killed so many people for him! He won’t hurt me!” Mr. Jang yelled to convince E, but it was more for himself it seemed.

“And those that you killed…deserve justice.” E spoke more solemnly, pressing the tip of her sword closer to Mr. Jang’s  neck, causing a little blood to ooze out.  Mr. Jang jumped at the sudden contact, but held his ground.

“Just kill him. Kill him now.” E lifted her head and saw that the woman was now standing next to Mr. Jang. She was looking down at him in disgust and without interest. “He’s nothing to me. Shed his blood for me to see…for you to see.” The woman’s voice turned to a cold and wicked tone.

Mr. Jang was taken aback by the woman’s comment. “You ! You ! I’m going to kill you!” Mr. Jang suddenly stood up and took a gun out from his suit and pointed it at the woman but before he could do anything, E quickly knocked the gun from his grasp and shoved him to the ground.  E then turned to the woman, who was smiling the whole time.

“You will die too, if you don’t stop this charade.” E warned. “If you’re his bodyguard, you will die. If you want to live, you better leave right now. This is not your problem.”

The woman smirked at E’s comment. “Oh..but it is…” the woman then took a letter cutter from the desk and threw it to Mr. Jang’s head, causing him to suffer a slow and painful death.

E saw this and glared at the woman.  The woman seemed unaffected. “Why did you do that?”

“I did you a favor. You should thank me.” The woman smiled and lessened the distance between them.  “I miss you.” The woman was about to remove E’s veil but once again, was only met with the blade of a sword.

The woman barely escaped.

“I don’t know you.” E coldly stated before turning around to leave.  “Unless you want to die, I suggest you give me the location of the weapons.”

“No need to threaten. I’ll gladly tell you.”

E stayed silent, waiting for the woman’s next words.

“Pincha Port.”

After knowing what she had to know, E turned around to leave.

“You better hurry if you want to save your sisters…” E stopped in her tracks and turned around to the woman.

“What do you mean?” E now walked back toward the woman and looked at her intently.

The woman sneered and stared at E. “You know exactly what I mean.”

That was all that was said before the assassin jumped out the window.  After seeing the assassin’s fleeing figure, the woman evilly smirked to herself.

“I will get you…Amber.”

“Pho, E is on the way to you guys. Make sure to get as much information as possible so that this night will go smoothly.” Blue stated through the earpiece.

“Copy that Blue.” Pho & Nix had arrived at the morgue not too long ago. Both are making their way into where all the corpses were held. The morgue was only one of the few institutions that kept death known through the frozen corpses..Each compartment had a symbol of death. Death was not something new to Pho and Nix though.

“We must be careful at all times Pho. It’s too quiet.” Nix whispered as she examined the area. Indeed, it was empty but was understandable since it was night.

Pho nodded her head. “I know. Keep your guard up at all time.”

In a few minutes, Pho and Nix finally found the room containing the bodies of the deceased from the news.  They opened the compartment and examined the bodies, inch by inch.

“Pho! Look at this mark.” Pho looked at the body that Nix was examining and looked at the mark on the victim’s face. The victim’s mouth was cut open to form the letter “S”. Pho narrowed her eyes.  However, before Pho could say anything to Nix, she was interrupted by Nix’s new discovery.

“What else did you find?”

Nix pointed to the next corpse’s torso. “The way this man was killed was through a deep cut on his torso.  The cut was deep enough to damage his intestines and vital organs.” Nix explained slowly and solemnly.

Pho nodded her head. “The victim that has her lips cut open, died through a bullet wound. The killer left their mark on the face. And no one does that but-”

Pho and Nix looked at eachother. Both knew exactly who the real killers were.

“Pho! Nix! Get out of there!!! NOW!” E’s voice suddenly penetrated through the ear piece, causing Pho and Nix to panic a little.

“What’s wrong?” Nix asked back as she and Pho made their way out from the morgue.

“It’s a set-up! It’s-”

*Boom!*

“FREEZE!” Pho and Nix now came face to face with Siwon, Heechul and Jonghyun.  What will they do now?

“Put your weapons down!” Jonghyun yelled as they marched forward slowly. Pho & Nix took a step back everytime they came forward.

“I knew you Night Ghouls will be here.” Siwon stated as he looked at the assassins intently never losing focus.

“Just go with us peacefully Night Ghouls. We don’t want to use force.” Heechul reasoned as he pointed his gun to the assasins.

“What are we going to do now?” Nix whispered to Pho, as she looked at the officers.

“Fight.” That was the only word that came out from Pho’s mouth. Nix didn’t say anything, but she knew what had to be done. Just as the officers were about to reach the assassins, Pho threw a smoke bomb.

“! Don’t let them escape!” Heechul yelled through the smoke as he tried to look for the assassins. Pho and Nix then started to fight the officers, since there was only one exit. Even in the smoke, the officers stood no chance against the assassins.  Just as Pho and Nix were going to exit, they got attacked by two unknown figures.

Pho and Nix quickly dodged their attacks and were able to throw some of their own hits as well on the unknown figures. Throughout the whole time, Pho and Nix were fighting against the unknown figures since they were putting up a really good fight.

“STOP!!!” Pho, Nix and the other two unknown individuals stopped after hearing Siwon’s warning. All of them were panting. Pho and Nix stood in the middle between the cops and unknown figures.

“This is none of your business Mr. Cop.” One of the individuals replied gravely. Nix looked at the person who spoke. It was a woman…

“So you Night Ghouls are women huh? Just great.” Jonghyun scoffed with a smirk. “Doesn’t matter. We’ll still catch you.” Jonghyun stated confidently.

Pho and Nix just stayed quiet.  The other unknown figure spoke.

“I think it will be me, who will catch you Mr. Cop.” Now it was Pho’s turn to look at the figure who spoke. “It can’t be…”

Pho and Nix knew they had to do something before hell breaks lose. The cops were messing with the wrong people and they had no idea.

Nix turned around to face the cops. She changed her voice before speaking. “You guys should leave.”

“Psh! And miss out on the fun? I don’t think so.” Siwon replied back sarcastically.

Now it was Pho’s turn to warn them. She also changed her voice before speaking. “Unless you want to die, all of you leave now.”

“No can do.” Heechul replied back sternly as he looked at the two assassin and then to the two unknown figures. “Who are they?”

One of the short unknown figure laughed at Heechul’s question. “Would you believe me if I told you I will kill you in 3 seconds?” Even though the unknown figure also covered her face, Pho and Nix knew she was serious.

Heechul kept quiet but remained attentive and cautious.

“Put down your guns.” Pho warned the cops. She really didn’t want them to get hurt even though they are fighting the wrong people.

“Don’t play games with me Night Ghouls. I will not hesitate to kill you.” Siwon threatened.

“Oh but you can’t Mr. Choi.” Siwon was shocked when he heard his name from the tall unknown figure.

“You want to know why Mr. Choi?” The tall unknown figure continued to speak.

“…”

“….because the Night Ghouls and we have unfinished business.”

Siwon, Heechul, and Jonghyun looked at Pho & Nix and then to the unknown figures. This was getting more and more complicated. Before anything else could be said, someone broke threw a window on the side and threw two smokegrenades. The cops were coughing and trying to see through the smoke. Even in the smoke, they could see 5 black figures fighting against eachother.  By the time the smoke cleared, all of them were gone.

“Damn it!” Jonghyun yelled and kicked the wall.

“Looks like we have some new players in the game Siwon.” Heechul commented as he looked out the window that was broken.

“What do you mean?” Siwon asked back.

Heechul turned to look at Siwon and Jonghyun with a solemn expression. “Night Ghouls aren’t the only ones we have to worry about now…”
