I'm BACK!!!!!! After a long hiatus, I'm glad to say..."I have returned to the world of fanfic writing!" lol. But seriously, i apologize for not giving any of you a heads up on my absence. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I couldn't write. And now that school has started, along with other things, I'm determined to update as much as possible. I hope that all of you have not left me although I would understand if any did since I'm quite selfish at times. Sorry. :( And I'm sure that my dear Phoenix Sisters are more than happy to be back as well. kekeke. Now..without further interruptions...the next chapter all of you (hopefully) have been waiting for. :D

Sooyoung, Taeyeon and Amber were having a picnic with Hana at a park near her school. It was a perfect day for a picnic.They have picked her up earlier and surprised her. Of course they informed her parents first before doing such a thing. Hana is the daughter to one of the most well-known doctor in Korea. Not to mention the influence of his family and the Jungs.

"This is so much fun!Thank you!" Hana squealed in happiness as she jumped up and down. She was holding Taeyeon and Amber's hand while Sooyoung went ahead to reserve their spot.

Hana looked up to Amber and then to Taeyeon. She then frowned.

"What's wrong Hana?" Amber stopped and asked. She crouched down  to Hana's level and patted her head gently.

"Nothing." Hana mumbled but was still frowning. Taeyeon looked on as Amber continued to get an answer out of Hana.

"Yah!! I found the perfect spot. Let's go." Sooyoung ran to them and exclaimed with a wide smile but stopped when she saw Hana. "What happened?"

Taeyeon and Amber shrugged their shoulders. Sooyoung looked at her sisters with an eyebrow raised before crouching down as well.

"What's wrong Hana?" Sooyoung asked softly and held her arm gently. "Did Taeyeon make you sad?"

Taeyeon's eyes shot opened at Sooyoung's assumption. "I'm innocent!!!" Taeyeon pointed to herself. "Why is it always me?! Why not Amber?"

Hana giggled. "I'll tell all of you later. Let's race. The two losers have to do 50 pushups!!" Hana screamed and ran first laughing. TaeSooBer looked at eachother before grinning at each other.

"I'm on Hana's team!" Sooyoung screamed and ran ahead. She caught up to Hana, quickly carried her, and ran off. Taeyeon and Amber following closely behind with full energy. They don't want to do push-ups, especially when Sooyoung has an advantage with her long legs. They were determined to win.

"Taecyeon. Why didn't you tell us that you arrrived sooner? This is quite a surprise." Mr. Hwang said with a small smile and patted Taecyeon's back gently.

"I'm sorry. I had some business to attend to the moment I returned." Taecyeon said with an apologetic smile.

"It's okay, dear. Since you are living in Korea permanently, you're forgiven." Ms. Hwang soothed and rubbed Taecyeon's arm softly with a warm smile. "But if I had known earlier, I would've cooked all your favorite food for you."

"Yeah. And I would've called my friends to bring their daughters. Especially,the ones that kept stalking you in college." Ms. Jung jmumbled with smirk.

"Auntie!" Taecyeon yelled and blushed. He does not want those women near him again. He shuddered as he remembered them. How they would pop out of bathroom stalls randomly and hug him, not caring that he was doing his 'business'. And how they would corner him and force kisses on him. Taecyeon shuddered again.

Mr. Jung shook his head and laughed aloud. He punched Taecyeon lightly on the arm. "Yah! You don't need to worry. They're all married now...with kids."

Taecyeon let out a sigh of relief. "That's really nice to know." Taecyeon grinned.

"So what have you been doing in the meantime?" Mr. Hwang asked and took a sip of his soda.

"Now that I'm back from America after working our branch over there, I'm going to work and protect grand-father's company here ."

Everyone nodded thier head. "That's good. We wouldn't want it any other way. My father will be happy and proud of you Taecyeon." Mrs. Jung commented in a sad tone and put a hand over his.

"Grand-father did a lot for me Auntie. I won't let him down."

Mrs. Jung sniffled and wiped her tears away and smiled while everyone else came over and gave both of them a hug.

The sudden sound of Mr. Jung's stomach broke the hug and everyone broked down in laughter.

"I guess that's the cue that we should eat." Mrs. Hwang suggested as she hooked her arms with her husband.

"Let's go eat out later for dinner. Heechul and I planned it out already."

"Okay. The same place then?" Mrs. Jung asked.

"Yep. I already told my friends about it."

"Then I should tell the chauffeur to pick up Hana." Mrs. Hwang took out her phone to call but was stopped by Taecyeon.

"It's okay Auntie Hwang. Just invite Hana's friends too."

"Are you sure?"

Taecyeon smiled at his aunt warmly and gave the thumbs up. "Positively."

Tiffany tried to work but she just couldn't. The scenes with her and Taeyeon a couple days ago was still fresh in her mind. She kept smiling to herself. If anyone saw her, they would think she was crazy. She was so engrossed in her new relationship, that she didn't realize her assitant had entered her room.

"Doctor Hwang?"

"..."

"Doctor Hwang."

"..." Tiffany kept giggling to herself.

"DR. HWANG!!" Tiffany threw her pens on her desk and stood up in panic.

"What? who? What happened?" Tiffany asked as she looked at her assistant with an awestruck face. Her assistant chuckled.

"One of our clients cancelled the appointment for today so there are no more appointments for today. And we will need to order some more anesthetic. We're out."

"Oh. Okay. Anything else?" Tiffany asked as she cleaned up her mess.

"You have a visitor."

"Who?"

"Tiffany." Tiffany immediately stopped what she was doing and looked at Siwon.

"You can leave. Thank you Sarah." The assistant bowed and exited the room.

"Siwon. Why are you here?" Tiffany asked, a little surprised.

Siwon smiled. "I was wondering if I can talk to you for a while?"

Tiffany looked at Siwon intently before nodding her head. "Yes, but not here."

Tiffany grabbed her purse and left with Siwon, not feeling the constant vibration of her phone with the caller I.D reading: TAE-TAE

"I can't believe we lost the race." Taeyeon grumbled and held her head in her hands after doing the push-ups.

"I know. And I'm Amber Liu! I don't lose races." Amber defended as she finished the last push-up and brought her legs up to her chest. "This ain't right."

"I can believe it." Sooyoung said with wide smile. "How you ask? Because I lived it! Hah!" Sooyoung then started laughing victoriously while TaeBer glared at her.

"I can't believe you guys called this a picnic." Hana commented and her chocolate ice-cream. Yep...they had no picnic basket.

Taeyeon was apalled. "A picnic can be lots of things." She defended herself. "Ice-cream counts..right SooBer?"

"Oh yeah. Definitely." Sooyoung agreed adn nodded her head vigorously. In the meantime, Amber rolled her eyes before talking.

"Sooyoung and Taeyeon ate all the picnic food." She confessed. "Right before we came too."

Sooyoung and Taeyeon looked at Amber with anger. "Yah! You promised not say anything!!" Taeyeon yelled as she stood up.

"I crossed my fingers. Besides...its' Hana." Amber answered.

"What happened to one for all and all for one?" Sooyoung asked between gritted teeths.

"That ended as soon as I had to do the 50! and i repeat- 50!! pushups!" Amber said with a smirk. "And it's Hana." Amber added the last statement with an innocent smile.

"I'm going to-" Taeyeon adn Sooyoung was going to grab Amber but was stopped by Hana's sudden question.

"Are you dating Jessi?" Hana asked Sooyoung. She then turned to Amber. "And are you dating Krystal?" Lastly, she turned to Taeyeon and pointed at her. "And are you dating my sister?"

TaeSooBer gulped for Hana's face suddenly turned serious and scary.

"That's why you were so strange earlier?" Amber asked for confirmation.

"Y-yes." TaeSooBer answered at the same time, awaiting Hana's reaction. Hana's anger slowly became happiness.

"KYAH!!!! I'm so happy!" She then hugged TaeSooBer.

"Reminds me of Jessica." Sooyoung whispered to her sister.

"and Krystal." Amber added.

"and Tiffany." Taeyeon added and smiled. "Mood swings."

"Must run in the family." Sooyoung stated with a small smile.

TaeSooBer laughed at their comments.

Suddenly, Hana's phone went off. After a minute, Hana gave the phone to Amber.Sooyoung adn Taeyeon waited until Amber hung up to please their curiousity.

"What's wrong?"

When Amber hung up, she looked at her sisters with a frown and bemused expression."The Hwangs and Jungs wants us to join them for dinner."

"WHAT?!" Taeyeon and sooyoung exclaimed at the same time.

"Isn't this a little too fast?" Taeyeon inquired. "I mean, we only just started dating their daughters. It hasn't been that long." Taeyeon began to panic.

"You're so dramatic Tay. You're so funny." Hana said and broke into giggles. "So anyways, you guys are going right?"

TaeSooBer looked at eachother, unsure of what to do. It would be awkward, especially with the whole family. Specifically the dads. Will they go?

Jessica leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes as she rubbed her temples. Her work felt never-ending. As soon as she finishes one folder, she has three more to review. Of course she can just give it to the other departments but then she didnt' want to risk it. As the vice-president of Jung Enterprises, she had responsiblities. She needed a break. Actually, she needed a specfic someone.

*knock knock*

"come in." Jessica answered lazily. Ms. Yin entered and bowed.

"Ms. Jung. Kwon Yuri is here to see you."

Jessica opened her eyes and grumbled in annoyance. "Again?"

Ms. Yin could only nod her head.

Jessica sighed. "You know what to do." Jessica said with a  smile.

Ms.Yin returned the smile. "I know exactly what to do." Ms. Yin then exited the office.

Once Jessica was alone again, she laid down on the couch and closed her eyes, hoping to get some rest. After a few minutes, she felt like someone else was in the room with her. However, Jessica concluded it was just her tiredness playing tricks on her so she ignored it. It wasn't until she smelled a familiar frangrance and  felt someone touch her cheeks that she opened her eyes.

"YURI!!" jessica yelled and abruptly stood up. Yuri ignored jessica's outburst and just smlied at her lovingly.

"Hi Jessica honey."

Jessica glared at the woman who dared to enter her office without permission. "What are you diong here? Didn't Ms. Yin tell you I dont' want to see you."

Yuri shrugged and approached Jessica. "She did." Yuri then put Jessica's bangs behind her ear and held her shoulders.. "And I did leave. But I had to see you so I came back." Yuri now smiled and looked into Jessicia's eyes. "Why are you so mean, huh?"

Jessica scoffed and roughly pulled away from Yuri. "I don't care. Now leave."

"Not without you."

"We're over Yuri. You're nothing to me." Jessica repleid coldly and honestly. She's moved on and Yuri needs to accept that fact.

Yuri's mood change to taht of anger and jealousy. "Choi Sooyoung can't do anything for you Jessica. She's just a rebound. WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE A GOOD GIRL AND COME BACK TO ME?!!" Yuri then shook Jessica hard by her shoulders.

Jessica didn't tolerate Yuri's actions and immediately threw her onto the ground. Yuri now laid on the floor, looking up at Jessica with anger, confusion and hurt.

"Did you just hurt me?" Yuri asked as she stood up.

Jessica took a deep breath before answering. "that was nothing compared to what you have done to me."

"Jessica. Honey. I'm sorry. Please forgive me."

"No."

"dont' be stubborn or else I will use force." Yuri threatened.

"That's quite a threat Kwon Yuri." Jessica and Yuri turned to the owner of the voice.

"Sooyoung." Jessica whispered. Sooyoung walked over and stood next to Jessica.

"Sica. Are you ok?" Jessica nodded her head. Sooyoung smiled and looked back to Yuri.

"Yuri. You should really stop coercing things. It's a bad habit."

"Jessica's mine. Give her back."

Sooyoung shooke her head, as if disappointed in Yuri. " Jessica isn't a toy. Actually, her heart isn't a toy. She is free to love who she wants."

"..." Yuri just continued to glare at Sooyoung.

"And she's my girlfriend now so I would appreciate you staying away from her instead of acting like a stalker."

Jessica didn't wait for Yuri's response and just intertwined her hands with Sooyuong. "Let's go Sooyoung." And they left, leaving a fuming Yuri behind.

"Why did you come here?" Jessica asked once they got outside.

"I miss you. That's why." Sooyoung then raised thier intertwined hands and kissed Jessica's hand. "And I got a phone call from a little birdie that my girlfriend was in distressed."

"Birdie?" Jessica thought about it. "You mean Ms. Yin?"

"Bingo!! How did I end up with such a beautiful and intelligent girlfriend like you?" Sooyoung kissed Jessica's forehead and Jessica couldn't help but smile widely at Sooyoung's sweet gestures.

"Want to go eat dinner together?" Jessica suggested as she wrapped an arm around Sooyoung's waist.

"Actually, I was going to ask you the same thing."

"What do you mean?"

Sooyoung stopped and looked at Jessica with a shy smile. "your family invited me and my sisters for dinner tonight."

"WHAT?!!!"

Japan

A man in his 40s can be seen sitting on his bed, overlooking a particular faded photo. The man sighed as he blew some speck of dirt away from the corner of the photo. The photo was more than 12 years old, but to him, that paper had some value in it. Or else, why would he still have it? The man sighed to himself before speaking aloud.

"I will meet you again. And until that day, you better stay alive." The man mumbled to himself with a frown before folding the photo in half and putting it carefully away. He was just about to blow the candle and go to asleep until someone barged into his room.

"JAE!!!!" The man, now known as Jae, quickly turned his attention to the panting and sweating young man in front of him with a quizzical look.

"Don't you know how late it is? Go out so I can sl-"

"THEY'RE HERE!!!" The young man yelled with a frightened and serious expression. "They. are. here." He spoke again more urgently and softly.

Jae opened his eyes wide but did not speak. Instead, he just stood up and walked to the young man.

"Were you followed Kibum?" Jae asked calmly. Kibum only shook his head as he saw Jae's face half darkened by the illumination of the candle that did not do a good job in providing enough light. However, Kibum knew Jae always preferred only one candle in his room.

"Good. Do they know about us?" Jae inquired further. Once again, Kibum shook his head, not taking his eyes off Jae.

Jae sighed. "Then I assume that the others are fine?"

"Yes. Luckily, I pointed them in the wrong direction. What do we do now?" Kibum asked in fear as he watched Jae turn around to look outside into the world that was now clouded in darkness.

"Go pack your things. We will leave tomorrow morning." Kibum didn't need to be told twice to know the seriousness of the situation. He obeyed and was just about to walk away but realized one important detail he forgot to say.

"Jae?"

"Yes?'

Kibum sighed before speaking. "Shin...."

At the mention of such name, Jae turned a little to the side but did not turn fully. He waited for Kibum to finish his statement.

"...Shin is here as well."

Jae turned back to his original position. "Go pack. We will leave tonight." Kibum realized the change in plans but didn't argue. He knew that Jae has now put his guard up the highest degree the moment that name left Kibum's lips.

After Kibum left, Jae opened his eyes and stared intently in the night sky from his room as memories flooded his head. After a few minutes, he opened his eyes again and looked into the candle on his desk.

"Shin..." As Jae called that name, he quickly used his right finger and thumb to put on the fire. Now, it was just plain darkness surrounding him. "...darkness doesn't prevail." Jae then lit the candle again.

Watching the light emitted from the candle dance proudly around his room, Jae just continued staring into the candle. It never failed to amaze him how one little candle can bring so much light and safety in a room so big. 

"I guess the past does always catch up, but-..." Jae spoke grimly before taking a photo out from his wallet. He ran his hand over the faces on the picture and smiled. "...but this time, I'm not alone."
