Jessica was in her office, looking over some documents and signing all the necessary proposals that were given to her by the departments.

 

*Knock knock*

 

“Come in.” Jessica stated, not looking away from her work. As the vice- CEO to a mulit-billionaire company, Jessica had to stay focus, hardworking and focused at all times. Her father was depending on her.

 

In a few seconds, Jessica’s secretary entered and bowed.

 

“Sorry to disrupt you Ms. Jung. You have a visitor.”

 

“Tell him I am busy.” Jessica answered. The secretary bowed and left. But returned a few seconds later.

 

“Ms. Jung. The visitor is refusing to leave. She says its urgent.”

 

Jessica looked up and looked at her secretary. She then took a sip of her water. “She?”

 

“Yes Ms. Jung. She said her name was-”

 

Just then a woman barged through the door. “CHOI SOOYOUNG!! THE ONE AND ONLY!!” Jessica spit out her water and looked at Sooyoung in disbelief. Sooyoung was laughing so hard at what Jessica just did. Good thing Jessica didn’t get any water on her documents or else…

 

“Ms. Jung! Are you okay? Should I call security?” the secretary asked as she looked at Sooyoung who was now smiling sheephisly and rubbing the back of her neck.

 

“Sorry.” Sooyoung whispered.

 

“Its okay. You can leave Ms. Yin. Thank you.” The secretary once again bowed and left.

 

Jessica dusted herself and went back to sit her desk.  “What do you want Giant?” Jessica asked gravely as she went back to reading her documents.

 

“Nice to see you again too my dear.” Sooyoung said with a smile and took a chair and set it right in front of Jessica’s desk. “ Hi.” Sooyoung greeted again and looked at Jessica.

 

“If you have nothing important to say, please leave.” Jessica said still not looking away from her work.

“I tried calling you alright? But you didn’t pick up so I had to resort to begging Heechul to tell me your workplace.” Sooyoung said with a sigh and pout. “Come on already Sica, it hasn’t been that long since you last saw me.”

 

“A week is a long time Giant.”

 

“Oh… did you miss me? If you had just picked up my phone calls then-”

 

Jessica slammed some folders on her desk, which scared Sooyoung. “Yah! I could’ve gotten a heart attack.”

 

“I-Did-Not-Miss-You.” Jessica gave Sooyoung a cold glare. “Nor did I care about whether or not you call. We are not friends so why would I care?”

 

Sooyoung chuckled at Jessica’s defensive words. “Okay then. I’ll leave.” Sooyoung bowed, put the chair away, and walked to the door but was stopped by Jessica.

 

“Where are you going?!” Jessica yelled, causing Sooyoung to laugh silently to herself but she recomposed herself before turning to look at Jessica with a blank face.

 

“I’m leaving. Besides, I have someone waiting for me.” Jessica raised her eyebrow.

 

“Dugu? Is it your precious Hye Sun?” Jessica asked bitterly, much to Sooyoung’s amusement.

 

“If you want to know then go with me. If not, then its your loss. I mean, what does it matter right? We’re not even friends.” Sooyoung then exited the room, leaving a stunned Jessica behind.

 

“Psh…like I care. That Giant will come back in 3-2-” The door opened again with Sooyoung’s head poking out.

 

“Okay. You win. I’m here with Taeyeon and Amber. I just wanted to visit you to make sure you’re well and healthy.” Sooyoung admitted with a slight blush and quickly closed the door again. Jessica was smiling to herself now. Just then the door opened once again and caught Jessica off guard. Too late…Sooyoung caught Jessica smiling to herself like a little school girl who had just been kissed for the first time.

 

“Awww…you don’t need to hide your happiness from me. I know you like me…” However, before Sooyoung could continue Jessica threw a waterbottle at her. She barely escaped. Jessica was huffing now in anger and embarrassment.  After a few minutes, Sooyoung popped in through the door again. Jessica was going to throw her plant vase at Sooyoung but stopped when Sooyoung threw her hands up in surrender.

 

“Stop! I won’t tease you anymore.” Sooyoung pleaded. Jessica reluctantly let down her vase.

“Why don’t you leave already Giant?” Jessica asked as calmly as possible.

 

“Oh well..you see the thing is..Aish!”

 

Jessica impatiently tapped her feet. “What?!”

 

“Um…well..you see Sica.”

 

“See what?!”

 

“Can you stop yelling at me! Give me a few seconds…” Jessica complied with Sooyoung’s request. After a minute or two, Sooyoung finally spoke.

 

“Tonight my sisters and I are holding are annual “Open Mic” night and I- I mean “we”, such as me, Taeyeon, and Amber, would love it if you, Tiffany, and Krystal can make it.” Sooyoung said with a big sigh of relief. “Finally, now that wasn’t so hard.” Sooyoung mumbled to herself.

 

“Alright.” Sooyoung looked at Jessica in shock.

 

“Cheongmal? You- I mean all of you will come?”

 

“Yes. I’ll let them know. I’m sure Tiffany and Krystal would like to come.” Jessica answered in a gentler tone.

 

Sooyoung smiled. “Alright. Then I’ll see you later Sica.”

 

“Okay. Bye. Leave so I can do my work.” Jessica pushed Sooyoung out the door since it seemed like the tall women can’t seem to find the door.

 

“Okay but-” Just then Sooyoung turned around and came face to face with Jessica. Their faces were only centimeters apart.

 

“Sorry!” Sooyoung exclaimed and stepped back.

 

“It’s okay.” Jessica answered, hiding her anxiety and blush.

 

“Um..I guess I’ll leave now. I’ll see you tonight @8pm.” Sooyoung then turned to leave. Jessica fanned herself after Sooyoung went out.

 

“Oh! Jessica!”

 

“What now Giant?!!!”

 

“Nothing. Just wanted to see you before I leave. See you later.” Sooyoung smiled at Jessica and then left.

“What a kid…” Jessica thought to herself with a small chuckle. She then turned back to go to her chair but just then the door opened again.

 

“Giant!! I told you to-” Jessica was speechless the moment she saw who was at the door. It wasn’t Sooyoung. It was someone else…someone who she thought she won’t see again. The figure smiled at Jessica.

 

“Jessica…I’m back for you.”

 

*Meanwhile…*

 

“So why did you guys have to go to Jessica’s work if you guys already asked us?” Krystal asked as she took a bite out of her muffin. Amber shrugged.

 

TaeSooBer and KrysFany decided to grab some lunch together after not seeing eachother for a week.

 

“Sooyoung wanted to personally invite Jessica.” Taeyeon bluntly answered as she handed Tiffany her smoothie.

 

“Thanks Tae-Tae.” Tiffany gave Taeyeon a smile that was sure enough to have grabbed the attention of any other person in the café. Unfortunately, her smile was only for Taeyeon.

 

“No problem. Did you know that this café has one of the best smoothies here Fany-ah? In fact, this café has a long a tradition of creating flavors and food that are emit human emotions.” Taeyeon stated.

 

“Cheongmal?”

 

“Yep. For example, I ordered you “Taste of Happiness” smoothies because-”

 

“yah! I’m still talking. So anyways Sooyoung, how did it go with my sister? Huh? Huh?” Krystal asked as she nudged Sooyoung and raised her eyebrows up and down with a crazy smile. Tiffany punched Krystal’s arm for disrupting such a moment between her and Taeyeon.

 

“Ow…what’s that for? Anyways…please continue Sooyoung.”

 

Sooyoung scooted away from Krystal a little before speaking. “It went well. I can’t wait till tonight. It’ll be so fun!”

 

“I know! Remember last year how those girls-”

 

“What girls Amber?” Amber looked at Krystal who gave her a cold stare.

 

“No one.” Amber answered with a nervous smile.

 

“Good servant.” Krystal then patted Amber’s head. Tiffany, Taeyeon, and Sooyoung looked at them all the while.

 

“Um.. is something going on between you two that we-” Tiffany pointed to herself and TaeSoo “-should know? Are you guys going out?” Amber nearly choked on her tea the moment she heard Tiffany’s comment.  Sooyoung helped calm Amber down.

 

“Donghae told us that they’re having a secret relationship so “shh!”” Taeyeon stated and gave Tiffany a wink. Tiffany caught on right away and laughed.

 

“Omo!! Was that a wink I just saw?!” Sooyoung yelled aloud.

 

“Yes it was Shikshin. So?” Taeyeon answered back casually. Tiffany and Krystal were sipping on their smoothies as they looked at the sisters bicker cutely.

 

“You-you winked to-to Tiffany?” Amber added when she finally calmed down.

 

“Yeah. There’s nothing wrong with that. Right Krystal?” Taeyeon looked at Krystal. Krystal nodded her head.

 

“Right! Taeyeon-unnie and Tiffany are currently really close friends. If you know what I mean Sooyoung.” Krystal said with giggles that was followed by SooBer.

 

“Yah!” Tiffany playfully slapped Krystal’s arm.

 

Taeyeon rolled her eyes. How can Krystal be so similar to Amber and Sooyoung so much?

 

“Aiya…I guess we have another dork.”

 

“Who you calling a dork?” Tiffany asked cutely.

 

“Nothing. Come on. Let’s go SooBer. We have to go back to work.” Taeyeon stood up, followed by Sooyoung and Amber.

 

“Oh snap! If we were not the boss of our own bakery, we would be in trouble.” Amber chuckled.

 

“Alright let’s go.” Krystal and Tiffany stood up as well. Once they all got outside, they bid their goodbyes.

 

“Bye Krystal!!!” Amber screamed. Krystal knocked her head.

 

“I’m right here next to you. No need to scream.” Krystal reprimanded, earning a small smile from Amber.

 

“Sorry. See you tonight Krystal.” Amber whispered the last part. Krystal smiled at Amber’s cute actions.

 

“Cute.” Krystal mumbled.

 

“Did you say something Krystal?” Amber asked. Krystal shook her head and Amber went back to talking with the others.

 

“Okay. Then its settled. We’ll all see each other tonight.” Sooyoung said. The rest nodded their heads.

 

“Bye Amber!” Amber smiled and lightly pinched Krystal’s cheeks. “Bye Princess.”

 

“Bye Fany-ah.” Taeyeon smiled at Tiffany and lightly patted the side of her head. “Don’t be late tonight.”  Tiffany smiled and nodded her head.

 

“Bye Tae-tae.” Tiffany and Krystal then walked off first. Once they were gone, SooBer spared no time to interrogate Taeyeon.

 

“So Taeyeon…” Sooyoung began as they walked back to their baker.

 

“So what?” Taeyeon asked back.

 

“…you and Tiffany huh?” Amber finished with a mischievous smile.

 

“What about us?”

 

“You like her.” Sooyoung stated with a small smile as she kicked a rock.

 

“A lot.” Amber added. “Oh my god!!! Taeyeon and Tiffany sitting on a-OW!!” Amber rubbed her arm where Taeyeon had smacked her. “What’s that for?” Amber asked in pain.

 

“For being stupid and…”

 

“And what?!” Amber asked back angrily.

 

“Its okay little sis. I’m here for you.” Sooyoung said soothingly. Taeyeon just continued walking. Thinking and smiling at Sooyoung and Amber’s comment.

 

“…and for stating the truth.” Taeyeon thought to herself as she smiled even more to herself as she heard SooBer laughing and yelling at her in the background.

 

*Back to KrysFany*

 

“Hey can I hang around in your office for awhile? I don’t want to go home yet.”

 

“Sure. While you’re in there, you can play with Sirius.” Tiffany replied with a smile.

 

10 minutes later, KrysFany arrived at the clinic.

 

“Sirius!!!” Krystal happily ran to the cage and took out the puppy. “I miss you. Are you getting better? I can’t wait to take you back home! I miss you sooooo much!!!” Krystal talked to Sirius while Sirius just her face and barked.

 

“Seems like he misses you too.”

 

“Of course. Why wouldn’t he? I’m surprised Taeyeon is scared of Sirius though. He’s so friendly and harmless. Right Sirius?” Krystal asked the dog and Sirius just barked back as if he understood.

 

“Hey. You can’t tell what I told you to anyone else.”

 

“Not even Heechul and Jessica?” Tiffany thought for a moment.

 

“Okay. You can tell them but not to Donghae, Taeyeon, Sooyoung and Amber. Understood?”

 

Krystal carried Sirius in  her arms and saluted Tiffany like a solider. “Yes Ma’am!!” Both women then broke out laughing.

 

“Can you tell me the story again? You know, the one with Taeyeon and Sirius’s first meeting?” Krystal asked as she took a seat on the couch with Sirius. “Please? Sirius wants to hear it again too.”

 

Tiffany chuckled. “Okay. This will be the last time though.”

 

*Flashback*

 

Two days after the incident in the restaurant, JeTiKrys haven’t heard much about TaeSooBer. Hana would tell them that they’re busy like usual in the bakery and that they’re the same. However, Tiffany couldn’t help but feel awful that she might not get the chance to tell Taeyeon how she feels. Not after what Siwon did.

 

Tiffany was glad that her job was able to keep her busy. One day after coming back from a surgery, one of Tiffany’s nurses came up to her and informed her that she had a visitor.

 

“Who is it?” Tiffany asked as she walked back to her office with the nurse.

 

“She said she’s a friend of yours.”

 

“Hm…alright. Thank you.” Tiffany thanked her nurse and proceeded to her office. She was only a few feet away from her door when she heard a scream followed by a dog’s barks.

 

“DON’T COME NEAR ME!! I-I’LL THROW THIS PAPER BALL AT YOU!! YAH!!!”

 

Tiffany quickly ran and entered her office. What she saw shocked and amused her: Taeyeon was standing on Tiffany’s table with a paper ball in her hand while Sirius was  barking up at her. Sirius wanted to play fetch.

 

Instead of making  her presence known, Tiffany closed the door and wanted to see what her “heroine” would do.  Taeyeon didn’t seem to have even heard Tiffany after all her yells.

 

“Shoo!! I only came here to see Fany! I didn’t come to pick a bone with you!!” Sirius, however, just continued to jump. Tiffany couldn’t help but laugh at Taeyeon’s panic expression.

 

Unfortunately, once Taeyeon heard Tiffany’s laughter, Taeyeon threw the paper ball somewhere in the room. Once Sirius ran to fetch the ball, Taeyeon took that opportunity to hide behind Tiffany.

 

“Yah. What are you doing Tae-tae?”

 

Taeyeon had her arms around Tiffany’s waist and was using her as a shield to protect herself from Sirius.

 

“Fany…get that puppy away from me.” Taeyeon urgently  whispered.

 

Tiffany chuckled at Taeyeon’s helplessness. “And if I don’t?”

 

“Fany-ah…” Taeyeon whined.

 

“Arasso. Arasso. Stay here.” Taeyeon reluctantly released Tiffany but then  jumped on the sofa. Tiffany carried Sirius and put him back in his cage.

“That’s all?”

 

“Yes. That’s all Krystal.”

 

“Liar. I know something else happened between you too. Spill it.”

 

“Finnneee…but only because I need to tell someone.”

“No need to justify…hurry up and tell me.”

 

“Okay. Back to the story…”

 

----

 

“Good boy Sirius. You did a good job.” Tiffany mumbled to Sirius as she patted his head.

 

“Fany…is it safe now?” Taeyeon asked from the sofa. Tiffany looked at Taeyeon and laughed.

 

“Yes Tae-tae. It’s safe now.” Taeyeon let out a sigh of relief and laid down on the sofa.

 

“Phew!! That was so close.”

Tiffany walked over to the sofa and looked at Taeyeon from above.

 

“Are you okay?” Taeyeon immediately opened her eyes and when she saw Tiffany staring at her, it gave her a fright and she ended up falling down the sofa.

 

Tiffany was laughing so hard that she didn’t even realize Taeyeon looking at her intently.

 

“You’re pretty when you smile Tiffany.” Taeyeon stated after Tiffany stopped laughing.

 

“I’m always pretty. You just took too long to notice.” Tiffany teased. Taeyeon scoffed.

 

“Just great…another conceited woman. Fine. I take it back.”

 

“Too bad. You can’t.”

 

“Yes I can. Whether or not you like it, I’m going to recant my words.”

 

“Hey! Be nice!”

 

“I am nice. You just took too long to realize it.” Taeyeon smirked while Tiffany meronged her.

 

“So why are you here Tae-tae?” Tiffany asked as she stood up from the floor.

 

“I came to officially invite you to an even that will be held 5 days from now at our bakery.” Taeyeon then handed Tiffany a flyer.

 

“Open-Mic?” Tiffany asked read aloud. Taeyeon nodded her head.

 

“Yep. We hold it annually. You and your cousins should join us this year.”

 

“Hmm…I remember Hana telling me about this last year. Wait! Last year was when your girlfriend-”

 

“I don’t have a girlfriend.” Taeyeon corrected Tiffany’s statement.

 

Tiffany smiled. “Just wanted to check before I make you fall for me.”

 

----

“Oh my God!!! And then what happened?!!”

 

“Stop interrupting. Anyways, back to the story…”

 

----

 

Taeyeon suddenly turned serious and looked at Tiffany intently.

 

“That can’t happen.” Taeyeon said solemnly and turned around to leave. Tiffany immediately caught up to Taeyeon to stop her.

 

“Why not?”

 

“For reasons you do not need to know.”

 

“…”

 

“I’ll see you.” Once again, Taeyeon turned to leave but was stopped by Tiffany.

 

“I’m willing to try.”

 

“Bwoh?” Taeyeon asked back. She knew what she heard but she just wanted to make sure.

 

“You heard me Kim Taeyeon. I will change your mind.”

 

“I don’t think you know-”

 

Tiffany cut Taeyeon off. “I know you’re the one who found my pink scarf and gave it to Heechul so he can give it to me.”

 

“…”

 

“You never left that night did you? You followed me home to make sure I was safe. I must’ve dropped the scarf and didn’t realize it. But you did. That’s why you picked it up and gave it to Heechul.”

 

“Those three monkeys told you huh?” Taeyeon asked in a not-so serious tone.

Tiffany smiled sheepishly. “Yeah. Donghae, and your sisters told me after they found out about my semi-panic attack when I thought I lost it.”

 

“…”

 

“I know you like me too Taeyeon. Please give me a chance.”

 

“No. I won’t fall for you Tiffany Hwang.”

 

“We’ll see about that Taeyeon.”

 

“The time, day and moment that I fall for you will be when the stars fall from the sky.” Taeyeon challenged as she stared into Tiffany’s eyes.

 

“It won’t be long then…since I have a bright star standing right before me.” Tiffany replied with her eyesmile.

 

Taeyeon didn’t respond. She just turned away from Tiffany and opened the door to leave.

 

“For the record, that night at the cinema when you went back home…” Tiffany held her breath, waiting for Taeyeon to continue.

 

Taeyeon turned to look at Tiffany one last time. “…I hope you liked the jacket.”

 

*End of Flashback*

 

“So the jacket that Heechul gave you just before he left that night, it belonged to-”

 

Tiffany nodded her happily.  “It was Taeyeon’s.”

 

“Kyahhh!! So sweet. Don’t you agree Sirius? And its all because of you!”  Sirius barked as if to agree to Krystal’s comment.

 

“What about you and Amber?”

 

“What about her?”

 

“I know you like her.” Tiffany said with a playful smile and nudged Krystal.

 

“Nope…I have to make her like and fall for me.” Krystal said with a smile.

 

“Wae?” Tiffany asked back, confused.

 

“I made a bet with my arch-nemesis.”

 

“Bet? With Sulli?” Tiffany inquired more.

 

“Yep. That thinks she’s all that.”

 

“What does Amber have to do with this?” Tiffany still didn’t understand the situation.

 

“Well, three days ago Amber and I met up for lunch. You know, I wanted to apologize and make up for the failed lunch with Jonghyun.”

 

“Uh huh..continue.”

 

“Well, after we finished, Amber went to buy us some ice-cream. That was when Sulli came with her gang s. And like the usual, she started with me.”

 

“You should have just kicked her .” Tiffany interjected angrily.

 

“Anyways, she wasn’t worth my energy so I just told her to back off. But she didn’t so things were heating up until Amber returned. The moment that saw Amber, she went all nice and innocent. Since I was getting tired of her trying to hit on Amber, I asked Amber to go buy me a bottle of water.”

 

“Omo!! Krystal! Please don’t tell me you did what I think you did!” Tiffany said in shock.

 

“I had to. Sulli said that I don’t have enough skills, which is why all my past lovers broke up with me for her. So I challenged her, saying that all my exes resorted to her as a rebound. She got pissed off so she made a bet with me.”

 

“Let me guess. The bet is that you have to make Amber fall in love with  you right?”

 

Krystal nodded her head. “Correct. She has to confess to me first and that’s all.”

 

Tiffany was disapproved of Krystal’s idea. “Does Jessica know this?” Krystal nodded her head.

 

“Krystal. You can’t do this to Amber. She’s not an object you know. What if things turn out horribly wrong?”

 

“Nothing will go wrong. Amber will never know. Please don’t tell anyone alright. Jessica didn’t approve of it too but I made her promise me. I have to do this for my reputation and life. I can’t let that walk over me everytime.”

 

“But still- it’s wrong.” Tiffany reasoned, hoping Krystal will back out from the bet.

 

“I won’t let Amber get hurt. I promise.” Krystal pleaded.

 

Tiffany sighed. “It’s your life. Although I don’t agree with you, I’ll keep this a secret. However, if I find it necessary to step in, I will not hesitate. Do you understand?”

 

“Yes.”

 

“Good.”

 

Once Tiffany diverted her attention away from Krystal, Krystal lied down on the sofa.

 

“Nothing will go wrong.” Krystal convinced herself. “Hopefully…”

 

All this while, the silence was interrupted by Tiffany’s phone.

 

“Yobeseyo? Jessica? What’s wrong? Whoa…slow down.” Krystal sat up and looked at Tiffany, who looked really worried.

 

“We’re coming over right now!” Tiffany then hung up and grabbed her purse. “Krystal! Let’s go! Jessica needs us!”

 

Krystal put Sirius back in his cage. “What’s wrong Tiff?”

 

Tiffany looked at Krystal intently and sighed.

 

“She’s back.”

 

“Who? Wait! It can’t be-” Krystal couldn’t find herself to name the person.

 

“Kwon Yuri. And she wants Jessica back.”
