Jungsu stepped out of the doctor’s office with a relieved smile on his face, and he showed Hyunseung a thumbs-up. Hyunseung looked at the elder male and sighed in relief.

“So what’d the doctor say? I’d assume that there aren’t any complications,” Hyunseung asked. Jungsu grinned brightly and nodded furiously.

“There aren’t any problems anymore, but I still have to be careful. But who cares? My baby is safe!” Jungsu cheered. It was a good thing that the clinic was almost empty or people would have stared at him like he was mad.

“Jang Hyunseung, the doctor is ready to see you now,” the nurse called.

Hyunseung sighed and touched the wound on his throat.

“I’ll be waiting out here. Or do you want me to accompany you?” Jungsu asked worriedly.

“I’d prefer it if you could accompany me but you don’t have to force yourself,” Hyunseung replied with a small smile on his face. Jungsu literally jumped up from his seat and latched himself onto Hyunseung’s arm, probably happy from the good news.

“Nonsense! I would never have to force myself. Come on, quick! My doctor is really nice,” Jungsu assured Hyunseung and dragged the other into the doctor’s office with a bright smile on his face. The doctor, Dr. Im, stared at Jungsu in confusion for a moment.

“Jungsu, didn’t you just go out?” Dr. Im questioned. Jungsu nodded, grin still plastered onto his face. Hyunseung could only chuckle silently and roll his eyes at Jungsu’s behaviour. The man was his manager, for goodness sake! He should at least act like it.

For some unknown reason, his thoughts travelled back to the robber.

I wonder when I’ll meet him again. I honestly wouldn’t mind him giving me another cut as long as I get to see his face. He is the hottest guy I have ever seen!

“This is my employee, Jang Hyunseung! We were robbed last night and he was injured by the robber,” Jungsu pouted and pointed to the wound at Hyunseung’s throat.

His jawline is so perfect and… Oh my gosh he is just amazing! Is he attached? Such a good-looking guy definitely would have a girlfriend or boyfriend, right? I mean who wouldn’t want such a guy?

“Hyunseung? Yah, Jang Hyunseung! Snap out of it!” Jungsu snapped his fingers in front of Hyunseung’s face in a futile attempt to snap him out of his trance. Since that didn’t work, Jungsu muttered, “Sorry.” And then he shut his eyes as he brought his palm across Hyunseung’s cheek.

“Ouch! What? What happened?” Hyunseung asked in panic.

“What were you daydreaming for?” Jungsu questioned. Hyunseung blushed as he remembered the robber and Jungsu smirked. “You know what? Forget it. Just pay attention.”

Hyunseung looked up as Dr. Im cleared his throat. “As I was saying, Hyunseung, may I see that wound? Sit down here and let me take the bandage off,” Dr. Im instructed. Hyunseung nodded, sitting down beside the doctor and letting him take the bandage off.

As soon as Dr. Im lifted the gauze, the wind blew against the open wound, causing Hyunseung to wince as dust and whatnot came into contact with his flesh.

“Now let me see…” Dr. Im mumbled and looked at the wound. “Well thankfully it isn’t too deep, so I can just disinfect it and wrap it up properly, and I’ll give you antibiotics for it.”

Hyunseung smiled and nodded. Jungsu gave him an encouraging look and pumped his fist, knowing that it would hurt when Dr. Im bandages the wound.

It won’t hurt Hyunseung, it won’t hurt. Just…

“OUCH!”

“Bear with it, alright? I’ll be quick,” Dr. Im told him apologetically. Hyunseung grit his teeth and forced a thin smile, nodding at the doctor and shutting his eyes tightly.

“Try to distract yourself with something,” Jungsu suggested with a wink, but of course Hyunseung didn’t see the last part.

Hyunseung nodded slightly, trying to think of something to distract himself. Automatically, images of the robber appeared in Hyunseung’s mind and his lips unconsciously curved up into a smile.

I should try and find him. I’ll need bait. Would money work? But I don’t have much of that, and I shouldn’t use the convenience store as bait…

“Done!” Dr. Im exclaimed, satisfied with how he wrapped the wound up.

“Really? So can we go now?” Hyunseung asked.

“You may go out and get your medicine before you leave,” Dr. Im replied. Hyunseung nodded and thanked the doctor, standing up and grabbing Jungsu’s arm as he left the doctor’s office. The two sat down outside while waiting for their medicine.

“So what did you think of to distract yourself?” Jungsu asked suggestively. Hyunseung’s cheeks began to burn up again and Jungsu just laughed at him. “You don’t even need to answer! You were thinking of that guy weren’t you?”

Hyunseung shook his head profusely till he felt like his neck was going to snap off.

“It wasn’t, I swear!” Hyunseung denied. Jungsu just patted his back and shook his head.

“You don’t have to lie. I can tell what you were thinking of.”

Hyunseung was about to retort, but the nurse called for them to get their medicine, so Hyunseung could only huff in annoyance and wait while Jungsu collected the medicine.

Hyunseung walked beside Jungsu as they strolled in the park. Jungsu had bought some food and he wanted to eat, so they were trying to find a place to eat.

The two spotted an empty bench and started making a beeline for it, but a couple ended up taking the seat before them. Hyunseung was beyond pissed. People do not just take his seat.

He marched right up to the couple and began nagging.

“You know, we were going to sit here. My friend is…” Hyunseung trailed off as he realised who the guy was. And he looked at the girl, and their intertwined hands. He felt his heart wrench in pain a little, upset that the man was attached.

Why must he have a girlfriend? I mean a hot guy like him would be attached, but this proves that he’s straight! Damn, life really stinks sometimes.

“Your friend is?” the girl asked, looking at Hyunseung with big eyes. Hyunseung snapped out of his trance and looked at the girl. Well, he couldn’t blame the guy for liking her. She’s real pretty.

“He’s pregnant and he needs to take care of himself, so he needs to sit down and eat properly. Would you give up your seat?” Hyunseung requested nicely.

What is wrong with you?! When have you ever been nice to people who steal your seat, huh, Jang Hyunseung? So you see a hot guy and completely become a fake person?

Hyunseung shook the thought off and waited patiently for a reply.

“Junnie, let’s give the seat up. We can find another seat, right?” the girl tried to convince her boyfriend. Said boyfriend rolled his eyes and shook his head.

“Hara, what have I told you? Don’t believe people just like that.”

“But Junhyung, this guy doesn’t seem to be lying,” Hara whined in reply.

His name is Junhyung? That sounds pretty cute. Wait, what am I thinking?! This Junhyung guy injured me and stole my seat! Why am I complimenting him?!

“Fine, sheesh. Let’s go before Seobie gets here,” Junhyung said as he rolled his eyes. Hara squealed and pecked her boyfriend on the cheek before the two left.

“Thank you!” Hyunseung shouted and Junhyung raised a hand to acknowledge him. Hyunseung and Jungsu sat down and they began eating whatever the elder male had bought, which turned out to be pickles and strawberries.

Hyunseung enjoyed the strawberries, but the pickles were a little overbearing and Hyunseung could only scrunch his nose up in distaste as he watched Jungsu down an entire jar of pickles. Jungsu grinned satisfactorily as he set the empty jar and Hyunseung nearly puked.

“How do you even eat that?” Hyunseung asked incredulously.

“It’s delicious! How do I not eat it?” Jungsu replied and drank the leftover liquid in the jar. Hyunseung gagged and turned away. The liquid was just preservatives, for god’s sake! Why would Jungsu drink something like that?!

“Hyung, that isn’t healthy! Give that to me,” Hyunseung chided and took the new jar of pickles that Jungsu had in his hand. Apparently, the elder had bought it without him noticing.

Jungsu glared at Hyunseung and Hyunseung just sighed. “Ok, ruin your health, I don’t care.”

Hyunseung rested his chin on his palms and as usual, his thoughts travelled back to Junhyung. Now that he knew the man’s name, what could he do? Was he going to find the man and make him fall in love with himself? Or should he just let himself be lovesick?

“…Hello? Hyunseung~,” Jungsu called out, bringing Hyunseung back to reality.

“What?”

“I know that look. Who was that man?” Jungsu questioned, winking at Hyunseung. The latter turned red and Jungsu just howled with laughter. “I knew it! You like the man!”

“No, I don’t!”

“You liar!” Jungsu accused, pointing at Hyunseung with a gasp. Hyunseung rolled his eyes at his hormonal manager and looked away.

“Tell me who he is~,” Jungsu whined and grabbed Hyunseung’s arm, swinging it back and forth in an attempt to annoy the other. He knew that Hyunseung was easily annoyed and he would crack soon enough. A hormonal Jungsu can be pretty freaky.

After some time, Hyunseung inhaled deeply and glared at Jungsu through half-lidded eyes. He was pissed alright, but he didn’t want to explode and admit that Junhyung was the robber.

I can’t give in to Jungsu hyung. No way.

Eventually, Hyunseung did crack. No matter how much he told himself to hold his anger in, he couldn’t. And so, he exploded.

“HE WAS THE ROBBER!”

Well I finally updated! Who went to SMTown SG? IT WAS AMAZING!

Anws imma be going to Cambodia for a Service-Learning Trip and I won't be back till ten days later so my next update would be arnd two wks from now? I'm sorry! ><
