New, Som, Neen, Mouse, Nicky and Best are on their way to Chiang Mai. Even though Best doesn’t like to go, Nicky persuades her. After all, she really needs to relax.

“Why didn’t you bring Toptap?” Best asks.

“He went back to their province because his father is sick.” Nicky said. “New, where are we going to stay in Chiang Mai?”

“My uncle owns an orange farm there. Actually, he is celebrating his birthday tonight so we’re going to his party.” New said.

“Party? Why didn’t you tell me? I didn’t bring any formal attire.” Best said.

“We can buy to the mall.” New said.

“But I can’t, I mean I didn’t bring all my money.” Best said.

“I can pay it.” Som said.

“No thanks. The last thing I will do is to get a help from my enemy’s friend.” Best said.

“Wow! Just for a day, will you please stop thinking that our groups are enemies? You’re Neen’s friend so I am being nice to you.” Som said.

“So, if it wasn’t for Neen, you will be like your friend.” Best said.

“No because if Neen is not here, I will ignore you and you’re not here too.” Som said.

“Come on! Just for a day, can you be friends?” New asks.

Som and Best became quiet.

“Som…” Neen said.

“Fine.” Som said.

“Best?” Nicky said.

“Fine.” Best said.

After long hours of travelling, they finally arrived.

“Wow… This place is so beautiful.” Som said.

Then, a handsome man came out from the mansion.

“New, welcome back!” the man said.

“Uncle Num!” New said and hugs the man.

Nicky, Mouse, Neen, Som and Best are shocked.

“Guys, I’d like you to meet my uncle. Sornram Theppitak.” New said.

“He looks young.” Nicky said.

“That’s because I am only in my 30’s.” Num said. “You must be Som.”

Num is looking at Som.

“Yes, that’s right.” Som said.

“New talks a lot about you and I knew at first that it was you.” Num said. “So, it is still early. Why don’t you take a rest first?”

They enter the mansion.

“Toptap will show you to your rooms.” Num said.

A familiar guy came out.

“Oh? Toptap, you’re here!” Nicky said.

“Nicky!” Toptap happily said.

“What are you doing here?” Nicky asks.

“My dad works as Boss Num’s assistant but he is sick so he asked me to replace him for a while.” Toptap said. “Follow me and I’ll show you to your rooms.”

They followed Toptap upstairs.

“Toptap, I think your dad’s salary is high because he can afford to let you study in R.F.A” Nicky said.

“I am a scholar. Dad is just paying the rental fee of the dormitory.” Toptap said.

Best laughed.

“Eh? What’s funny?” Toptap asks.

“You? A scholar? You’re joking, right?” Best asks.

“He’s not joking.” Som said.

“Eh? Seriously?” Best asks. “But he is weird.”

“He is weird but he always at the top in the rank of all the scholars.” Som said.

“Isn’t the rank of the scholars are secret?” Best asks.

“Yes but we accidentally saw it and he is even higher than me.” New said.

The rank of the scholars are secret because to avoid the jealousy or misunderstanding of the scholars. The only rank that are announce to everyone are for the students that are not scholars.

“But don’t tell it to anyone.” New said.

“The room of the girls is on the left and next to it is the room of the guys.” Toptap said.

Best opens the door to their room.

“Only two beds?” Best asks.

“I’m sorry. The plan is that Som and Neen are the only girls that coming but then you came and there are no available rooms so two of you will be sharing on one bed.” Toptap said.

Nicky opens the room for the guys.

“Eh? Why is there only one bed?” Nicky asks.

“Actually, that’s my room. I and Mouse are sharing my bed.” New said.

“What about me?” Nicky asks.

“There’s a sofa.” New said.

“Ok. See you at the party. I still have lots to do.” Toptap said and left them.

“Nitcharee, you use the other bed. I and Neen can share in one bed.” Som said.

“Ok.” Best said.

They are unpacking their things when Neen left without telling them.

“I’m done.” Som said. “Neen, do you want to go-”

Som looks around the room but Neen wasn’t there.

“Did you see Neen?” Som asks.

“No.” Best said.

Som left the room and went to the guys’ room.

“Have you seen Neen?” Som asks.

“Don’t tell me she is already missing.” New said.

“I am not asking you if she is not.” Som said and left.

New sighed and followed her.

Best went to walk around the farm.

“Best!” Nicky called her.

Nicky is with Toptap.

“Toptap is going to the market. I’m going with him. Wanna come?” Nicky asks.

“Sure.” Best said.

The three use the pick-up truck.

“What are you going to do in the market?” Best asks.

“I am taking the flowers that will be use in the party. Unfortunately, the shop can’t deliver the flowers because their truck broke.” Toptap said while driving.

“What a nice service they have.” Best said.

The market is just 15 minutes’ drive from the farm. Toptap parks the car at the front of a flower shop.

“P’Vill, I am here.” Toptap said and enters the shop.

Best and Nicky followed him.

“You’re here. Thank goodness. I am so sorry for what happened. Is Boss Num mad?” the beautiful girl said.

Just then, a guy came in.

“Vill, I manage to borrow a car. We can- Oh? Students!”

“Prof. Toomtam?!!!” Best, Nicky and Toptap said.

“He’s our professor in the academy.” Best said.

Nicky and Best are helping Vill and Toomtam arranging the flowers when Som and New came.

“Have you found Neen?” Best asks.

“Yes. She’s with Mouse so I let her go.” Som said. “Oh? Prof. Toomtam.”

“Hi, students!” Toomtam said.

“You live here?” New asks.

“Yes. My twin brother owns a farm near here.” Toomtam said. “Prof. Feud is also lives here but he often stays at Phitsanulok.”

“Toomtam, Tar and Due are coming back. They want to have a reunion.” Vill said.

“Really? Nice.” Toomtam said.

“P’Vill, is this alright?” Best asks.

“Yes. It’s beautiful. You have a talent in flower arranging.” Vill said.

“Thank you.” Best said.

Soon, Som and New are helping them.

That night, the party is started. Best and Nicky are on the corner. Mouse and Neen went to the garden. New is following Num that is busy introducing Som to others.

“I want to go out and walk around.” Best said.

“Let’s go.” Nicky said.

The two left the party.

“So, how’s the investigation of my past?” Best asks. The two are walking outside the mansion.

“Mouse still doesn’t have a lead but I am sure he will get something.” Nicky said. “Do you still have that dreams?”

“Yes but it is still the same.” Best said.

“Don’t you want to ask Puifai about it?” Nicky asks.

“No. She doesn’t want to know the past.” Best said.

The two saw a big tree with a swing hanging on the branch. They sat on the swing and look at the night sky.

“So many stars.” Best said.

“You’re right.” Nicky said but he is looking at Best.

“They are beautiful.” Best said.

“Yes, you’re right.” Nicky said but he is looking at Best.

Best noticed it and looks at him.

“You’re not looking at the stars.” Best said.

“I am.” Nicky said. “You’re my star and you are the most beautiful star that I have seen.”

Best blushed.

“I love you, Best.” Nicky confessed.

Best is speechless. She doesn’t know what to say.

“No need to answer. I am not asking you. I just told you what I feel for you.” Nicky said. “Let’s go. It is getting cold out here. We should go back to the mansion.”

“Ok.” Best said.

“I love you, Best.” Even when they are back at the academy, Best still can’t forget what Nicky said to her. It keeps on appearing in her dreams.

“Hey, sleepy head. Time to get up.” Esther said.

Best just sat on the bed and staring blankly.

“Earth to Best. Hello? Are you there?” Esther asks.

Esther waves her hand at the front of Best’s face.

“Huh?” Best said.

“Are you really awake?” Esther asks.

“Yeah.” Best said.

“Then, get up and get ready.” Esther said.

“Right.” Best said and finally get out of the bed and went to the bathroom.

“Our friend is weird.” Fern said.

“I agree.” Esther said.

Best is going to the library when she saw Nicky. She is about to call him when Vill came.

“P’Vill? Is she studying here too?” Best asks.

Nicky and Vill left.

Best wonders where the two going so she followed them.

The two went to the cafeteria of Faculty of Agriculture.

“What are those two doing here?” Best asks.

The two just bought a food and left the cafeteria. Best followed them again.

“What is a student of High School Town doing in the Faculty of Agriculture?” Anne asks.

“Hello, Prof. Anne. I am just looking for someone but I guess he is not here. I’ll just go back.” Best said and quickly left.

The past few weeks, Nicky doesn’t follow Best and Best wants to know what is going on.

She wants to ask Esther for advice but after learning that her best friend and Keerati are now friends, she became distant to her and it is also affects her relationships with the others.

“Best, you’re getting slower. You must improve a lot.” Louis said during their training.

“Yes, coach.” Best said.

“Guys are next. And where the hell is Nicky?” Louis asks.

Just like that, Nicky is late again in the training.

Nicky came rushing.

“Coach, I am sorry I am late.” Nicky said.

“Why are you always late?” Louis asks.

“I am doing something important.” Nicky said.

“More important than swimming? Although you and Best are just the 2^nd choice, you must not neglect the training. You two makes me doubt that I chose you.” Louis said.

“Sorry.” Nicky said.

For the first time, Best saw Nicky not in a happy mode. In the past, even though Louis scolds him, he will just smile but now is different.

After the training that night, Best waits for Nicky.

Nicky was surprise to see her there.

“Best, why are you still here?” Nicky asks.

“Let’s go back to the dorm together.” Best said.

Nicky is happy but something is holding him back.

“Sorry. I am going back first. I am hungry. Bye!” Nicky said and left.

“Wait!” Best said but Nicky didn’t stop from running. “Where is he going? That’s not the way to the dorm. If he is going to go somewhere, he might miss the curfew.”

The next morning, Best wait for Nicky outside the Blue Fountain Dormitory. When she saw New, she ask him.

“New, is Nicky still sleeping?” Best asks.

“He didn’t go back last night.” New said.

“EH? Really?” Best asks.

“Yes.” New said. “Actually he isn’t sleeping in the dorm these past few days.”

Best decided to go to the class alone. She is now entering the building when a car stops at the front. Nicky came out of the car.

“P’Vill, thanks for dropping by.” Nicky said.

“P’Vill?” Best whispered.

When the car left, Nicky saw her.

“Hi, Best!” Nicky greets.

Best ignores him and enters the building. She wants to show to him that she is jealous and she wants him to woo her but she is disappointed when Nicky didn’t even run after her.

During the class, Nicky is sleeping. Almost all of her professors are scolding him for sleeping in the class.

“Nicky, let’s go together in the swimming pool.” Best said.

“Sorry. You go ahead. I am going somewhere first.” Nicky said.

“But you will be late again.” Best said.

“I won’t. I will be quick.” Nicky said and left.

“Looks like your boyfriend finally gives up on you.” Puifai said.

“Shut up! He is not my boyfriend!” Best said and left.

Just as expected, Nicky is late again. Louis scolds him again.

“One more late and I will kick you out and choose Kan instead.” Louis said.

“Coach, not Kan!” Puifai protested.

“What’s wrong with Kan? He trained even he is not in the academy. He has a potential.” Louis said. “As I said, if Nicky is still late tomorrow, I will kick him out.”

Louis left.

“Hey! Be serious, ok? Besides, what are you always doing in the Faculty of Agriculture? Every day you are there.” Puifai said.

‘Every day?’ Best’s thought.

“I need to go. Bye!” Nicky said and quickly left.

“Hey!” Puifai yells.

Then, Puifai looks at Best.

“Talk to that guy, will you. He is going to mess up my dream if he is going to be replace by Kan.” Puifai said and left.

Just like last night, Best waits for Nicky.

“You’re still here?” Nicky asks.

“Let’s talk.” Best said.

“I’m sorry but I need to go somewhere.” Nicky said.

“You’re going to spend your night with P’Vill again?” Best asks.

Nicky is surprised.

“New told me that these past few days you are not sleeping in the dorm and this morning, I saw you came out from P’Vill’s car. And few weeks ago, I saw you and P’Vill in the Faculty of Agriculture. Tell me, Nicky, what are you really doing?” Best said.

“I’m sorry but I can’t tell you.” Nicky said and is about to go when Best talks again.

“When you said that you love me, do you mean it?” Best asks.

Nicky is about to answer when his cellphone rings. He answers it.

“P’Vill? I’m on my way now.” Nicky said. “Go back to the dorm.”

Nicky left Best.

It is clear now to Best. Nicky and Vill are now dating. When Nicky said that he loves her, it is just nothing.

Best walk back to the dorm while crying.

“Best, what’s wrong?” Toptap asks who is about to go out.

Best hugs Toptap and Toptap comforts her forgetting where he is going.
