 "     .     .      . Coffee .   .  " bringing hyeon back out of her thought ,  jessica said in a loud voice as she knocked the door she was standing against once or twice to wake hyeon up .

" .      .      .  He left for the summit , his gonna be there till 8 so .   .  .  " jessica walked across to the desk and started picking all the paper as hyeon started fixing her hair and cloth.

" .     .    .  you're coming with me later by the way , for now let's get coffee"  jessica put all the paper on the shelf .

    " .     .     .   Come on .   .  " she stretched out her hand and started pulling hyeon up from the chair .

    " .   .   .  A cup of coffee will get this frown off your face then me and you are gonna have to do something to get his uptight and always uncontrolled person out for a night" she dropped hyeon's hands as the later stood up and started walking by herself.

   " .    .     .  How are you gonna do that " hyeon picked her phone up and followed behind as jessica led the way to the cafeteria .

   " .     .      . It's friday night , there are a lot of things to do .    .   " jessica glanced back and gave hyeon a small mischievous smile .

  " .      .     .  Don't worry about that , just say yes and i'll show you" she added on not sure but hoping hyeon would agree . Even if she doesnt jessica is prepared to kidnap her. She has seen her work as a slave with no break or social life and even all the nice treatment and hope of her and lay getting together has disappeared as she witnessed the don't take to ke And i don't wanna see you things that have been going on between the two . At first she thought of it as a lovers quarrel but now it clear to see that it might just have been a fling .   

     Aa quick elevator ride and a couple of minutes walk later the girls walked into the cafeteria , one black coffee in machiato then as always jessica led the way as they quietelly sneaked into the secret place that they are not allowed to be, the deck on the 11  floor .

  " .   .    .  Are you sure you didn't say anything to him " jessica asked for the last time still convinced that hyeon might have something to lay to make him behave this way but then again hyeon could say anything that's this offensive to make him try and cut her out.

        "    .     .       . Can we not talk about him please , i don't wanna get a headache" hyeon took a small sip of the hot coffee.

  " .    .     .  I thought you two had a thing for eachother " in turn jessica picked her cup up and took a sip , still hot .

        " .      .     .   I guess i was wrong " jessica responded to her own question after waiting o  hyeon for a couple of seconds as the later went on quietly drinking her coffee.

 " .       .      . Don't worry i'll get you a new one " jessica smiled , may be they had a messy breakup .

" .     .      .  Do you know how long the work contract is ?" Hyeon asked sitting back on the chair , her eyes still glued to the view in front .

 " .     .     .  why? , you wanna quit ? " jessica immediately asked  .

      "     you wanna quit because of him .   .   . Are you sure there's nothing going on ?"

" .   .    .  I told you there's nothing going on " hyeon replied sending her eyes to jessica for a couple of seconds to make sure for one last time jessica gets it.

 " .     .     .  Well, if there is nothing going on why would you quit because your boss doesn't smile at you any more " jessica replied,  instantly regretting what she said as a startled hyeon glared  at her.

    " .     .       .  I'm just saying " she added smiling .

" .    .     .   But if you quit now  thats how its gonna seem like and didn't you told me you need the money for the girls schools " jessica took another sip as hyeon placed her cup down.

    " .    .      .  Oh my god" hyeon screamed inside her head .      .     .  The kids . How come she didn't think about the kids . All she has considered for a reason to stay was jae , not the main reason she took the job to begin with. How can she be this negligent that she didn't think of the kids .

    " .    .      . Are you ok ?" Jessica interrupted her thoughts again.

   " .   .     .  Am fine just thinking about some stuff"

  " .      .      . You know i always thought you were a bit out of his league " jessica sat back hiding her small smile behind the cup .   .   . her w9rds have startled hyeon a little bit as she turned her shocked eyes to jessica.

   " .   .   .  What .   .  ,  ? ,       .

“      .          .          . It's the truth" Jessica added still smiling and a little bit relieved to see hyeon smiling back.

    " .   .   . He's the one out of my league" hyeon took a sip of her coffee , every sip seems to be hitting the right spot as her tired and worn out nerves are waking up . Reminded again how much jessica makes her boring and dull days better . From showing her all the cool spots in the building to the breakdown of the order of things and who to ask for what , hyeon probably might have quit way earlier if not for the girl who's always next to her .

  " .   .   .  His the general manager .    .    .  " hyeon added turning her eyes to the city view

" .   .    .  So ,

    “        .        . that doesn't make him any better , " jessica placed her cup down a little bit startled that hyeon cares about lay position .

  "   .     . Doesn't matter that he's your boss either or that his rich" jessica replied before hyeon said it.       

 "   .  .  . You're just way above his league" she raised her hand way up to show hyeon the difference.  Hahaha , hyeon couldn't help but smile, not even a tiny bit surprised this would come out of jessica . She has always taken hyeon sides since they day they met .

" .   .  .  Everyone in the building thinks ur to much for him .    .    .  He has a very bad reputation " jessica added

Cough     cough ,

hyeon coughed out the sip she took and immediately zoomed her eyes on jessica.

 "   .    .    .    What

" .    .       .  Did you just say everybody ?"

Hyeon shocked eyes glared at jessica as she picked the napkin on the table up and started cleaning her shirt .

    " .    .     . Yeah ,

" . .you know everybody is assuming you two are a thing right ?" Jessica pushed the napkin on the table towards hyeon.

" .  .   .  You two do have a very weird relationship and it's not just assistant and boss , unless blind anybody could see that " jessica replied a little bit surprised that hyeon is freaking out this much about the assumption people have about lay and her.

   " .   .  .  Don't worry i'll tell them there's nothing going on "  she added , shocking hyeon again .

   " .   .   .  Things travel fast in this building and there's no such thing as a secret so .   .   .  " jessica smiled , after working for a couple of years sue has learned how fast news travels especially anything related to the people on the last two floors. With lay in the U.S and the mom in paris there was  not even a single thing to talk about as none of them dare even speak of jaes shadow let alone his private life  .   .   . But now with lay back and in the office every day , the mom in the country there is so much to gossip about.

hyeon asked finally calming down , no wonder the girls in the front desk give her a frowning face  they see her , the people in ,alignment dont take her seriously .   .   .  Do they all assume she got the job because she's with him.  

    "  .   .   .  Who wouldn't , you two talk on first name bases to begin with and his always smiling at you , even the way he looks at you is different " jessica sighed playing out in her head how lay always stares at hyeon whenever she's not looking .

   " .    .    .  Your lucky you know , " jessica sighed again.

    " .    .    .  To have him even look at you like that " she picked her macchiato up , she would do anything to get any guy look at her with the fraction of affection lay looks at hyeon but no. It's always the jerks.   .    .  The ,mannerless s she ends up with . But then again lay was a mannerless jerk to before hyeon came in.

     "   .     .      .  I don't like it though " hyeon moved a little bit closer to jessica and sighed .

  " .   .    .  It makes me very uncomfortable " hyeon added inturn smiling to cheer jessica up.

"     .   .   .  And am sure his looking at me like that cus he's shocked that i look like that everyday " hyeon slide and closed the gap between them sitting  right next to jessica .
