Chapter 56

Jaejoong was in a panic, he needs to get away, he could feel it… he threw some clothes into a suitcase as well as fill up as much as he could with the babies’ things before heading out to the car. He places his luggage into the already packed boot and made his way back into the house to pick up the kids. He was in a hurry he didn’t have time to soothe their cries that didn’t go unnoticed.

“Jae is everything alright?” his neighbour appeared from her front door looking at him in concern. She figures it would be difficult for him to take care of three babies, let alone all three crying for a feed. And was willing to help if he needed her, Jaejoong spoke short.

“We need to go.”

“Go where dear? Maybe I can help.”

“You can’t, she found us…” he told her as he strapped Taemin in to his baby seat in the middle before running back to the house for Kai, who was the last to be strapped into the chair. He had a shade attached to Sehun window so he wouldn’t be sensitive to the light.

“Who?”

“Someone who will kill my sons. If s-she gets her hands on them, we need to go before we loss the chance.” he closed the door for the boys and head to the driver seat, “I don’t know who will come, but people will come looking for me. It could be my cousin or my friend you remember them,” she nodded she had only seen them a handful of time. Not enough to get to know them they were always in such a hurry, “or… or my husband.”

“Your husband?” Jaejoong nodded technically they hadn’t been married, but Yunho was his husband in every sense of the meaning, even if it wasn’t written on paper they were a family, even though separated the would always be family corrected by the bond and their shared sons.

She stared at him as he spoke. “T-tell him I’ll keep the boys safe no matter what happens.”

“Jae…”

“Give this to him.” Jaejoong handed her a letter. “There’s one for my husband and the other for my son. Please if he comes, give them to him.” Before she knew it, Jaejoong was gone before her very eyes in a split second he was gone with the three boys, leaving her standing there wondering if she could do something for him.

Jaejoong had been driving for hours, he only stopped once to care for the boys by feeding them and changing them, catering for their needs tromped his own. He hadn’t really packed anything for himself only a few cloths. Nothing over the top he knew if Yunho or Junsu were here, they would be like nagging mother hen (I don’t know if you understand the term it such an Irish thing to say.) On how he had to take care of himself first.

 It was late, he’d been driving all day, he only pulled over the car when his head began to spin, it was unthinkable for him to continued, he wouldn’t endanger his kids. He unbuckle his seatbelt and got out of the check on the kids in the back they were so quiet, and as usual Sehun was wide awake. “Sleep Sehun, Umma need you to rest.” Jaejoong told him as he brushed his hand against his cheek.

Jaejoong felt like jumping from his sink as he heard his name. He closed the back door and lean against it as he caught his breath as his heart pounded against his lungs as he looked in all direction, there was no one there. He hurried back to the front seat taking his spot behind the wheel when he heard the same voice again.

Jaejoong looked around again, if he wasn’t he certainly was now. Began driving again looking into the rear-view mirror as he drove.

It didn’t sound like Yunho, but he needed to ask, the voice was so familiar so like his own.

“Well the last time we spoke, I used up all my energy… do you know how much power it took from me to stop him from killing you?” Jaejoong remember back to the last time he had spoken to this side of him. Just when Changmin had woke to his vampire side of his life, and it’s also just when he found out about the babies when his life changed forever. “Well let’s just say it was enough to put me into a deep sleep.
