Chapter 44

It’s been another week and Jaejoong hadn’t woken up. Junsu never left his side, he couldn’t he didn’t want Jaejoong to wake up alone, even if it kept him from his own family. He knew Yoochun would take care of his son.  

“Yah sleeping beauty, how long are you planning to sleep for? Your prince charming can’t come and wake you up?” Junsu told him. Jaejoong need to wake up, Heechul and I wish you’d wake up. I missed talking to you about... well everything. Oh I forgot, Changmin sent you a letter, I haven’t opened it. It’s for you, Changmin wrote you something Jaejoong, wouldn’t you like to read it? I’m sure he’s concerned about you. I’ll leave it beside you bed, it’s here waiting for you to read it.”

How long had it been since Jaejoong had been unconscious, he didn’t know… but the first time he felt he was able to move a little. He turned his head side to side. Until he finally began to stir, he felt the warmth of the sunlight beaming onto his face. It was a feeling he haven’t felt in a long time. He shifted slightly opening eye in a mere slit and squinted as the light been drawn in from the window, the nice feeling only last a minute. His chest and stomach felt oddly painful, like a small stabbing pain. It was probably the cause for him to finally waking up.

“Is anyone there?” his voice was hoarse but it didn’t stop him trying, he was thankful when someone came.

“Jae?”

“Su, take me to the hospital,” Junsu could see Jaejoong’s eyes were blood shot, but he was crunching his stomach, “Please Su, I-I don’t want to lose them.” Junsu stood looking at him dumbfounded, he had no idea what Jaejoong was talking about.

“Jae…”

“Please… I don’t want to lose then,” he repeated as he tried to get up but he couldn’t, “Su…”

“Hey take deep breaths Jae, you’ve been asleep of a long time.”

“SU, please… listen to me…” Jaejoong cringed with the pain, he clutched onto his tummy, he tried to stay strong, he didn’t want to pass out from the pain. He cannot when they are depending on his so much.

“Jae?”

“I-I’m pregnant… please help me Su… I don’t want to lose them…”

“You won’t Jaejoong, you won’t…” Junsu turned towards the door, “I-I be right back…”

“Su d-don’t leave me.” He to his back he looked down at his body as if to spot a baby foot poking out or something, his eyes falter at his stomach. His breath caught into a hitch. The pain dulled in the pit of his stomach for only a second before a shape made him crunch his stomach at the ache. “Su where are you?”

“Heechul… come on hurry…”

“Jae, Heechul here.” Junsu knelt beside the bed. “He’s in a lot of pain.”

 The pain made Jaejoong more aware of his body in a way he wasn't before. He clutches feebly at his stomach, he looks sideways at Junsu and to Heechul as he approach. Jaejoong tried to say something but nothing came out but a cry of pain.

“Jae tried to relax!” Heechul felt Jaejoong’s stomach area, “How long?” he asked, “Jaejoong how far along are you…”

“H-how l-long have I been a sleep for?” he managed to breath out.

“Three week…”
