“Help!” Amber ran towards Henry and hid behind him, her hands around his waist, pulling his shirt. Henry almost lost his balance when the rest of f(x) ran towards Amber.

Amber walked backwards to the direction of the couch, and ended up sitting on it, and Henry sitting on her lap. He was still being used as a human shield by Amber.

“Please don’t let them take me. Please, Henry.” Amber was hugging Henry, arms around his waist, head resting on his back, as he comfortably sat on her lap. It was usually the other way around especially when they ran out of seats in the living room when they have guests. “Let me guess, they want you to wear a dress and high heels” He pulled her arms for her hug him more. “More like, forcing me. Please, don’t let them take me.”

“Henry told us it is a black tie event, Amber.” Sulli was holding the box of high heels apparently Amber bought but she never wears them and kept them hidden in the closet.

“He did. And hey, where did you get that box?” Amber noticed the familiar box Sulli was holding.

“From your hiding place” Sulli smiled at her, sitting beside them.

“Oh, those heels” Henry took the box from Sulli, opened it, and showed Amber the heels. “Don’t worry, Amber, like I always say, they look great on you. You look y in these heels”

“You mean ier.” She corrected him.

“She already wore them? They look brand new,” Sulli looked at the bottom of the heels, “oh, there are scratches already. I haven’t seen her wearing it in any occasion or event.”

“Amber!” Victoria shouted, realizing something.

“What did I do now?” She hid herself behind Henry.

“Don’t tell us the reason why Henry knows those heels look great on you is that you give him a private show, if you know what I mean. Oh dear God! Private shows!” She assumed.

“What do you mean by private shows?”

“Don’t act all innocent on me, Yiyun. And, shows” She nodded, noticing what Amber told her.

Luna, Sulli and Krystal looked at each other, realizing what “private shows” meant. “Oh my God!” Sulli dropped the heels on the floor. “Is there any alcohol around?”

“Soojung, put that dress back to where it should be, hidden in the closet beside the shoe box.” Amber instructed.

Luna took the dress from Soojung and threw it to Henry. “Amber, what have you guys been doing?”

“This dress looks great on you too. Wear them in the party, Amber, please.” Henry, ignoring the girls, spoke to his girlfriend as he sat on her lap.

Then Amber hit him in the nuts. “Awww!” He squirmed on Amber’s lap, his hand over his crotch. “Come on! What is that for?”

“Don’t be such a cry baby, Henry.” Amber laughed. “All of a sudden, you are so heavy” She pushed him of her lap.

“Want some ice on that?” Victoria offered to get him some ice, walking towards the kitchen.

“Please.” He answered, in pain. “Don’t ever do that again, Amber. Oh God! It hurts.” He stood up from her lap, following Victoria.

“Here, Henry.” Victoria gave an ice pack to him in front of the fridge. “Is it still on?”

“Absolutely”

“But this was not part of the plan” She was referring to his painful, yet somewhat funny injury. She laughed.

“This isn’t funny, you know?”

“It is Henry.” Soojung and Sulli laughed as well.

“Very funny” Luna added.

The most spoken phrase that day was “Oh hell no I am not going to wear that” from Amber as she ran away and hid behind Henry who was laughing at his girlfriend since his plan was working, and Amber being dragged towards her room.

“Hey! I am not gonna wear a push up bra, Jinri.” Amber shouted.

“Oh, yes you are.” Jinri threw the bra at her.

“So you guys bought me a push up bra? And you know my bra size.”

“Yeah, so what? You have s, we have s. And it is for us to guess your bra size.” Soojung answered. “So wear the god damn bra”

“Fine!” Amber picked up the bra that landed on her bed when Sulli threw it to her, and went inside the bathroom.

“This hurts you know.” She adjusted the bra underneath her wife beater, for it to fit her perfectly.

“Come on, sit. Time for hair and makeup” The four girls cheered as Amber cursed, “! What did I do to deserve this?”

“You kept the fact that you and Henry are already together for a year.”

Amber looked at them and smiled.

“Now look at mirror and keep your head still.” Luna instructed, holding a makeup brush.

“Actually it is two years”

“Two years? More reasons to make you suffer then for not telling us.” Sulli started styling Amber’s hair.

“Henry and I decided not to tell. Why am I the only one suffering?”

“Really?” Victoria and Krystal walked towards the living room. “Oh, Henry”

“Wait! Don’t forget about Henry’s tux.” Amber pointed at her closet. “I know he brought it here today.”

“I know you planned this, Henry.” Amber spoke. “Now you suffer my wrath.”

“You two are adorable.” Luna laughed.

“I know right.” Amber looked at Luna.

“Amber, I said keep your head still.” And Amber looked at the mirror. “Sorry,” She faced Luna again, making her friend mad.

“Please Amber, don’t let them take me.” Henry shouted from the living as Victoria and Krystal dragged him to the apartment next door, holding Henry’s tuxedo.

“Two years, Henry, two years.” Victoria told him.

“Amber, what’s happening?” Henry was definitely scared.

Krystal got the key from her pocket.

“You have the key on Junmyeon’s apartment. Did I miss something here?”

Krystal smiled at the two before calling Suho. “Junmyeon”

“Hi Soojung” Suho greeted his girlfriend.

“I will explain later, Victoria. Henry, first”

“You better have a great story to tell later.” Victoria replied.

“Take bath first. You stink.” Krystal handed over a towel and some clean clothes from Suho’s cabinet.

“Half the clothes in his cabinet are yours” Victoria noticed.

“She has so many clothes that she ran out of closet space and placed them inside mine.”

“This looks like you two are already living together.” Henry teased.

“Aren’t they?” Victoria added, joined in the teasing.

“Wait a sec. I just thought of something. And I think you two want to be there when I ask her.”

The four walked back to Amber’s apartment. “Ask Amber what?” Krystal spoke.

“Hey, Amber, can you ask you something?”

“Of course.”

“Do you like to move in with me?”

“More like you moving in here. Your place is dirty.”

“No, your place is just cleaner that mine. Whatever, as long as we live together”

“Sure. Why not?”

They kissed for the first time in front of their friends. “Can’t wait.”

“Me too.” They kissed again.

And Henry walked back to Suho’s apartment. “Guys?”

“What just happened?” Soojung asked.

“Henry will be our new neighbor, Soojung.” Suho smiled at her, and held her hand as they followed Henry back to their apartment.

“What the Soojung?” Sulli went out of the room, Luna as well.

“Yes!” Amber cheered as she thought they won’t continue anymore.

“Sit down, we are not finish yet.” Sulli’s voice was coming from the living room.

“Darn it!” Amber went back to her seat. “Why do I have to wear a dress and makeup and this stupid push up bra? So ing uncomfortable to wear. And I totally forget about the heels. Black tie” She told herself as she looked at the mirror.

At the event of the company where Amber and Henry were working, everyone complemented her that night.

Amber was sitting alone at her table as she watched her friends dance.

“Shall we dance?” Peniel offered.

“Sorry.”

“See you around.”

“Yeah. See you around”

“There you are.” Henry sat beside Amber.

“Hey.” Amber smiled, holding her heels.

“How are your feet?”

“They are screaming for help right now.”

“Just few more hours.”

“If only we can just skip the rest of the night”

“Have I told you really look so great especially in that dress?” They were remembering the times that only the two could see her wearing that dress and heels.

“Always.”

“People notice how great you look tonight especially Peniel.”

“Someone’s jealous.”

“Who?” He looked around.

“The man who I love looks so great tonight too.” She rested her head on his shoulder.

“Are you talking about me?”

“Who else?”

“I don’t know. Peniel?”

“Henry.”

“I am sorry. He likes you. I notice the way he looks at you. Everyone at work doesn’t know that we are together. They didn’t even know we came to this party together.

“Hey, when I complemented him a while ago, I was just being polite. He complemented me so I need to complement him back. But when I complement you, I am not being polite. I really mean every word.”

He stepped closer to her. “I love you.” His lips inches away from hers. “I love you too,” and their lips met.

“Now that everyone knows that we are a couple.” He kissed her again as they heard people talking about them. “Shall we go home now?”

“I thought you will never ask.”
