Lost and Found
Changed By YouShe passed by his lonely bubble, bursting it, letting him inhale the air they were both breathing. He wanted to talk to her, yet he couldn’t come up with the right words to say to her - “Hello” wasn’t enough.
Searching for the moments that he could took a peek of such beauty right before his eyes, if he could stare at her all day, he wished for that to happen, hoping it would come true really soon.
Sure he was wasting the possibility of talking to her, he stood from his seat, took the first step away from her. Turning his head to where she was, now meters away from him, he didn’t expect that he missed her already.

“Do you know who that guy is?” Mi asked. “He kept looking at me. It’s okay,” Amber smirked. She found it amusing, “he isn’t hurting anyone.” “Proud that you have an admirer. That someone actually has a crush on you.” She threw a balled up tissue paper to him, “Crush? We are too old for crushes.”
“You two are talking about crushes. Are we back in elementary?” Jia sat beside Mi and he held her hand. Amber rolled her eyes at the happy couple. “See that guy wearing a red jacket and beanie, he kept on looking at Amber.” “Let me see if this guy pass Amber’s really high standards in men. He’s cute. His complexion is really white. He kinda looks familiar. I can’t remember when and where.” Amber wasn't even listening to what Jia was saying. She was thinking about the guy. “Someone’s pissed. We are just teasing you, Amber.” She wiped her lips with a tissue, “I need to go. I’ll pay you back, okay? See you guys later.”

Both of you chose to stay wanting to get to know each other more. The moment her name escaped those lips, he knew he wouldn’t forget her.
Knowing the one he loves didn’t want to have anything to do with him anymore, his mind repeating the words he heard her say, the reason, and the clues she left for him and he neglected to notice. He froze as she stood in front of him, touching his cheek, and gave him a kiss on the other. Witnessing every step she took, walking away, he could have stopped her but the pain was too much that the tears couldn’t help but fall from his eyes to the cheeks that she kissed and touched.

On her way home, she was smiling, thinking about what happened earlier - seeing him again. Someone grabbed her hand. She didn’t even scream. He did let go of her hand so he could kiss her since he knew “Hello” wasn’t enough and he made the right decision when she kissed him back.
“Aha! There it is. Mi, I found it! I forgot Amber borrowed my earphones.” Jia, at Amber’s room, shouted to Mi who was at the living room. She was about to leave the room when she looked out the window and thought she saw her roommate with the guy they saw this afternoon. “Let’s go...Wait, is that Amber--?” “Yeah.” “And they are--” “Yeah.”
