“Tell me about stuff you like.” Henry spoke.

“What?” Amber asked.

“Tell me about stuff you like.” Henry repeated.

“Why?” Amber limited her replies in just one word questions. She was definitely not in the mood. All she wanted was to rest in his soft leather sofa.

Henry just looked at her.

“Okay. Fine,” Amber gave in and sat on the floor in front of Henry. “Are we really this bored? And we ended up sitting on the floor.”  She stalled the conversation. “I came here to lie on your sofa since it’s soft and comfy, you know while you compose some music.” She spoke in between yawns. “And when was the last time you cleaned the floor?” wiping it with her fingers.

“Amber” Henry firmly spoke. “Just do it. Please.”

Amber just sighed and rolled her eyes. He was definitely serious about this “Tell me about” stuff he just said.

“What do you want me to say again?” Amber asked.

“Stuff that you like” Henry smiled at her.

“Okay, stuff that I like…stuff that I like…” Amber’s eyes immediately looked up. Henry grinned like a fool because he knows that she always does that when she’s thinking of an answer to give.

“I like your shirt.” Amber pointed out. “Am I doing this right?” She asked.

He nodded. “Easy and fun, right?” He insisted.

“I like your cap.”

 “I like that you like my cap.” Amber joked.

“I like that you like my shirt.” Henry replied.

“Are we seriously doing this?” Amber spoke in between chuckles.

“It’s your turn again, Miss” Henry insisted, gently tapping her knee.

“I like that your sofa’s white and you let me sleep on it.” Amber randomly spoke.

“I like your shoes.” Henry casually responded.

“I like red.” Amber said.

“I like black.” Henry told Amber.

“I like Basketball.”

“I like Tennis.”

“I like puppies.” Amber delightedly spoke. “And hamsters. And llamas.”

“I like you.” Henry suddenly spoke since it was his turn, looking directly at her.    

She looked back at him with narrowed eyes, and kicked him.

“Oww! That hurts.” Henry winced in pain and rubbed his shin, “Why did you do that for?”

“You let me play this silly game of yours instead of letting me rest. You don’t need to tell me that. I already know that you like me.” She spoke, already lying on his sofa.

“It’s your turn by the way.” Henry insisted, sat on the floor near the sofa.

“Come here.” Amber spoke. And Henry went towards Amber.

“I like you too,” She whispered to him and kissed him on the cheek. “Now, would you let me take a nap?”

 “Wait, my shin still hurts." Henry pouted.

Amber kissed his other cheek. “There. Now, does it still hurt? And would you now let me take a nap?”

Henry didn’t say a word and stole a kiss from her. “Now, you can sleep.” He spoke kissing her again.
