Even if how many times they had already practiced. They always ended up adding something else when they were on stage. They were having that much fun.
Their first ever performance together, two years ago, when she suddenly appeared on stage could be used as an example. Henry was seen biting his lower lip, Amber pushing him away, standing too close to each other, etcetera. They looked cute doing that, well, cuter.
Since they were performing again, they expected from each other to do something that wasn’t a dance step so they just knew how to react if ever one of them did that and could still proceed to the next step.
Looking at each other’s eyes, they couldn’t stop themselves from smiling. Seeing him smile made her hope that her cheeks wouldn’t give out a hint, changing to the color that would lead him to nonstop the moment they left the stage or even maybe during the performance itself.
Henry knew how to just by looking at her. He secretly hoped that him seeing her smile wouldn’t make him hate his cheeks by turning to a shade of red. He has white skin so it was easy to determine if he was blushing.
Amber was easily amused by whatever he was doing onstage and offstage. He raised his arms and moves them crazily and that made her smile during a performance. When they were being interviewed, she couldn’t stop herself from laughing hearing his answers and what he was doing beside her. The same thing happened to Henry, seeing how she reacted and answered. Maybe he really tried to make Amber laugh, and he did made her laugh just by being himself.
Using her index finger, Amber touched his forehead, pushing his head was one of the things she did on stage that wasn’t part of what they practiced. She also pushed him by his chest. Henry acting cutely on stage was easy for him to do. That sometimes made her push him a bit harder than usual like telling him to stop being too cute, for even just a bit. “It is not my fault that you can’t handle the fact that I am cute.” He even filled his cheeks with air as if he has his mochi cheeks again while they were at their dressing room.
He couldn’t actually know what he might add every time they perform onstage, especially when they are offstage.
There were times that Amber pinched his ear. She enjoyed doing that the most. He touched her ear once, she tried to recall. Mostly, she was the one playfully pinching his ear. She even pinched the one of the ears of his mouse hat.
Amber tapped the top of his head when they reached the part when she would pass her arm above his head, sometimes she tapped his arm or shoulder or she just sticked on doing the said step. All Henry could do was look at her, smiling as she smiled back at him.
Henry pushed her off stage when she was about to leave the stage, again looking at her as he sang the numbers that meant “I love you”, saying those said numbers to her and Amber looking back at him as she walked towards the backstage.
The past weeks of her being with him, promoting were added to her list of memories that she truly treasured while living in Korea and continue doing what she loves, what she went there for and what convinced her to continue living there. There were people she met that made her stay here more enjoyable and one of them was Henry.
Amber clicked the next video of their performances posted online. She felt the same way as the times she was sharing the stage with him, singing and dancing, as if they are still promoting together as she watched the videos.
She then remembered the time Henry held her hand when they were about to perform. Checking if everyone was ready to record their performance. She was waiting when he suddenly reached for her hand. They ended up holding hands, walking towards the dancers. She wasn’t supposed to be there, she looked lost. Though she felt sad when he let go. She later realized why he held her hand, he was guiding her to his spot since they would be introducing themselves before recording. She felt sad again.
It was her turn to introduce herself, her microphone was still off, she thought she could just stood too close to him, using his microphone that was placed near his lips, but she couldn’t do that. It could be the reason behind a dating scandal and they had been avoiding that to happen for years now.
She laughed as she watched upon the video of her finding out about Henry’s nostrils. She remembered the times Henry showed his nostrils and she didn’t know why he was doing that, and why he pouted when she said to him to stop showing his nostrils to her for no reason (at that time it was “for no reason”), now, she knew why he was doing that.
She actually woke up today seeing a picture of his heart-shaped nostrils that he sent her earlier today so yeah, her started her day great. She sent him a picture of her with her eyes as hearts. She cut out hearts and placed tapes at the back and taped them on her eyes and took a picture of herself. The things she did, does, and would be doing and the things she never thought she will be doing because she loves him, she would not regret any of it.
