“Mom, what are you doing?” Amber asked Yoona.

“Some heart decorations for Sunny’s party”

“Party? Do I need to come with you? Oh, I remember. That is a party about…” Amber cutely puffed her cheeks as she looked at Yoona, trying to remember the occasion. She then hummed the 'here comes the bride'. “–wedding!”

“It is Sunny and Sungmin’s Anniversary not wedding, Josephine. it is Sunny’s Valentine’s Day-slash-Anniversary party. You can finally come with me, if you want to. It will be your first time attending this party.” She tried to convince her daughter to finally attend the party.

“Balentimes?” The four year old asked.

Yoona pinched her daughter's cheek, laughing. “Balentimes” She repeated the made up word that Amber just said to her.

“Here, you could keep me company while I cut these colored papers into hearts. You could make some heart-shaped cards. You could give them to your friends, to anyone you like during the party.” Yoona let Amber sit beside her at the dining table and placed some heart-shaped papers and a pen in front her daughter.

Amber excitedly grabbed the pen and started writing on the cards. Yoona looked over Amber’s work.

“Don’t look” She hid the cards from her mother, covering whatever she wrote at one of the cards with her small hands. “It is a surprise.”

“For whom is the third card?” Yoona thought after she saw the two other cards are addressed to her and Jonghyun.

“What are you guys doing?” Lee Jonghyun who just came home from band practice, asked.

“Balentimes Day cards” Amber happily replied.

“Balentimes” He chuckled, and ruffled Amber’s hair.

“Yes, dear. Balentimes.” Yoona gave Jonghyun an “Amber’s made-up words are so cute, right?” look.

“I will just take a shower, and I will help you guys make some ‘Balentimes’ Day cards.” He kissed Yoona and Amber, before he walked towards the bedroom.

“I hope that every day is Balentimes Day. I am having so much fun.” Amber spoke, as she drew a dog on the card.

“Oh.” Henry was so amazed upon seeing rabbit-shaped chocolates on the table. He lifted his shirt, used it as a bowl so he could take more than what his hands could actually grab.

“That is for our guests, Henry.” Sungmin took a few chocolates from Henry shirt-slash-bowl-of-chocolates. “Plus you are letting everyone see your stomach.”

“Dad I don’t have gut like yours for me to actually be shy to show my stomach” He teased and run towards his room.

“Henry!” Sungmin saw his son hide from him.

“Sungmin, your gut is not that big. So don’t worry too much, my chubby husband.” Sunny poked Sungmin’s not-so-big waist, as Sungmin kissed his ever-so-skinny wife’s cheek.

On his way to his room, he didn’t notice that the chocolates were falling from his lifted up shirt.

“You dropped your chocolates.” Amber picked them up for him. She then threw the chocolate towards Henry’s shirt-turned-bowl.

“We could share. Let us eat them together.” Henry smiled at the girl who was three years younger than him, as he tried to catch the chocolates that were aimed at his shirt.

“Really?” She followed him to his room.

“That was weird.” Sunny spoke, noticing the way Henry acts around Amber.

“What’s weird?” Yoona asked, helping Sunny fix some party decorations.

“Henry actually wants to share his chocolates to Amber.”

“What’s weird about that?”

“If chocolate is a person that would his best friend. And he never shares his chocolate to other people.” Sunny replied.

“Sunny, did you hear what Henry said to Amber?” Sungmin stood beside her.

“Yup! Amber is a definitely a great influence to our son.”

Henry stared at Amber as she ate some chocolates.

“What?” Amber, still full of chocolates, asked.

“You have some chocolate on your cheeks.” He smiled as he wiped her cheeks.

“Thanks” Amber smiled back, as she, in return, wiped the chocolate off his chin and nose.

Kai suddenly laughed as he saw Amber hanging out with an older kid.

“Soojung, the one you’re babysitting hangs out with that kid.” He pointed his thumb at Henry and Amber.

“Love is definitely in the air, I guess.” Krystal kissed him on the cheek, and walked away, smiling.

A stunned Kai was left all alone on the sofa, still couldn’t believe what just happened.

“That means you are her boyfriend now, Jongin.” Jonghyun snapped his fingers at the still stunned Kai, waved his hand at in front og Kai's face. “This dude is definitely shocked.” He realized.

“Really?” Kai stood, and then lifted Krystal, causing her to squeal since he spun her around.

“I could change my mind, you know.” Krystal teased.

“Kids, these days.” Jonghyun laughed as he walked towards Yoona.

“Look.” Yoona told her husband, as she leaned at one of the walls.

Jonghyun took a picture of Henry and Amber sharing the last piece of chocolate. “Henry is definitely sweet around Amber.”

“What are you guys looking at?” Sungmin asked, holding Sunny’s hand.

The four saw Henry dusting off Amber’s dress as they stood up and Amber dusted off the wrappers that were stuck on Henry’s shirt and pants.

“Henry” Sungmin called.

“Yes?” Henry smiled.

“Time to give out roses to whoever you like” It is tradition in Sunny’s annual Valentine’s Day-slash-Anniversary party.

“Give me three then.”

“Three?” Sungmin asked. “You usually asked for one.”

“Since what you said to give roses to whoever I like.” Henry reasoned, and walked towards Sunny.

“Mom, this is for you.” Henry gave one rose.

“Here’s a flower for you, Auntie Yoona” Henry smiled at her mother’s best friend as he gave it to her.

Yoona and Sunny saw Henry still holding a flower.

“Amber!” He waved at her. And Amber smiled at her friend.

“Here” They both said.

Amber was giving Henry a card, while Henry gave her a rose.

“Thanks” Once again they spoke in unison.

“Mom said to give cards to people I like during the party.” She explained and puffed her cheeks.

“Happy Balentimes Day” He read what was written on the card. “You spelled it wrong.”

“Nah-uh! It is spelled B-A-L-E-N-T-I-M-E-S.” Amber corrected Henry.

“What is that even mean?” He asked.

“I don’t know. Maybe it means how many times you balen, whatever balen means.” Amber answered.

“We could search for the word at the square thing that my teacher always has on her table at school” She added.

“You mean the dictionary.” Henry mentioned.

“Don’t make up words, Henli.” She looked at him.

He then laughed as he saw what was written inside. “Snoopy?”

“You look like dog that is why I also drew a dog and named him Snoopy.”

“If you are calling me Snoopy, I will call you Charmander since you look like one.”

“I actually like Charmander, Snoopy.” She stuck her tongue out.

“You two tease each other like you guys are in a relationship.” Krystal joked.

“In a…what now?” Amber asked.

“Relationship. You know boyfriend-girlfriend.” Kai answered, pointing at Krystal.

“Oh.” She nodded. Kai then ruffled Amber’s hair, and Krystal pinched her cheek, causing Amber to walk away from them, covering her cheeks so no one could ever pinched them.

Henry immediately followed Amber as he saw Kai and Krystal’s fingers aiming at his chubby cheeks.  “Amber, wait up!”

“What is a boyfriend?” Amber asked Henry.

“What is a girlfriend?” Henry also asked Amber. “I know what a friend is. Then a boyfriend is a friend who is a boy?”

Amber nodded, “So a girlfriend is a friend who is a girl?”

“I guess so.” Henry agreed.

“We are friends, right?” Amber looked at Henry.

“Of course! Why wouldn’t we be?”

“So you are my boyfriend, Snoopy” She smiled at him.

“That makes you my girlfriend, Charmander” He smiled back.

Then they heard a loud “So cute!”. A few of the guests commented. 

They didn’t notice that everyone was listening to their conversation, and saw Amber still holding the rose that Henry gave her, and Henry still holding his “Happy Balentimes Day, Snoopy” card as they stood in the middle of the living room.
