dangerous love by shinaechan
Criticism Level: 10
Title: 7/10
Originality: Not really original. (0/2)
Relevance: Romance? Certainly. Action? The genre does come to my mind. On the whole, I do think that the title is relevant to the story, especially when it comes to Baekhyun being possessive and hitting Rose. (4/4)
Attractiveness: The title is rather intriguing, but it is pretty vague (there are many definitions to the word 'dangerous.) (3/4)
Description & Foreword: 10/10
Relevance: The family died, yes. The murder is covered up by the police, yes. About the revenge part, I can sense the hatred from Rose during the end of chapter five. The rest of the description just introduces the characters. Full marks for this. (5/5)
Attractiveness: I like it when descriptions end off with a question... These descriptions often entice me, and this story is no exception. (5/5)
Setting: 5/5
Relevance: For the most part, I think that the story revolves around gangs, hence, the setting is definitely relevant to the story. (5/5)
Characters: 16/20
Originality: I have actually seen characters like Baekhyun, J-Hope and Rose before. (2/5)
Believability: Why does Baekhyun keep staring at her when they first met at the airport? If there is a reason behind it, I also wonder why he did not recognize her when he met her at the party (or is he pretending?) Other than that I can understand the characters' reactions most of the time. (14/15)
Plot: 18/25
Originality: The plot is pretty cliche with the abused relationship and gangs. (1/5)
Believability: The story is not at all ridiculous or unbelievable. I have nothing to say. (10/10)
Theme: Even though there are only five chapters published so far, I can see that possessive and obsessive people can hurt their loved ones. For a relationship to really succeed, love does not conquer all as there are many factors involved (especially career). (7/10)
Flow: 8/10
Consistency: In my opinion, the part when Rose and Baekhyun start dating comes rather fast. I was actually kinda expecting some progress of their relationship first, and if so, I might be able to understand the reason why the two love each other so much. Other than that, the flow is pretty smooth. (8/10)
Grammar & Vocabulary: 9/10
Grammar: Most of the mistakes that I notice are punctuation mistakes, so it means that your grammar are relatively good. (4/5)
Vocabulary: I have nothing to say. (5/5)
Overall Enjoyment: 9/10
Enjoyment: I really enjoyed this story since this is one of the very few stories that I find really believable. I also like some action at times! Rose kinda brings down the whole story... well, maybe because she appears rather fragile to me now. My opinion might change when her revenge starts :P (9/10)
Total: 82/100 //B (+)
Additional comments: I really love this story (especially since it is believable). I am certainly looking out for updates. This review is not 100% accurate since the story is still ongoing, so feel free to request again when your story is completed. Thanks for requesting!
