“Tell me again what happened with Suho... God, Kris I never knew that you’re this cheesy, I mean… My heart chose you as an exception… Who the hell says that?” Ji eun grinned like a little kid as she walked side by side with Kris, both holding an ice cream cone in their hands as they walked in a quiet park near her house. The sky has turned dark, and the weather was awfully chilly.

“Yah!” Kris glared at her while blushing.  “I’m not cheesy, I’m just… romantic.” He then smiled as he looked ahead, the blush still evident on his cheeks as he remembered the events of two nights ago.

“Oh, someone’s blushing, it’s so cute.” She reached to pinch his cheeks, but he leaned back and pushed her hand away, glaring at her again. Ji eun pouted and completed walking beside him.

“So… What’s happening in your life that’s worth mentioning?” Kris asked to change the subject, and she just gave him a sarcastic look.

“Nothing happens in my life that’s worth mentioning.” She just answered simply with a mocking stare and he smiled at her taking a from his ice cream.

“Have you told him about out deal?” He asked as he looked ahead again, Ji eun glanced back at him and mentally sighed.

“I’m not planning on telling him. It won’t hurt him if he doesn’t know.” She looked to the ground, she felt guilty for saying that, and for hiding things from him.

“Why not?” He asked simply, and glane back at her, Ji eun still had her eyes on the ground, debating what she should say as an answer, and then finally deciding to tell the truth.

“Maybe I’m just too selfish, I know he’ll get mad, but this is my only chance of leaving my house… and there’s something else…” She turned to look away from him, and he stared at her in curiosity.

“What’s that?” He asked with an amused smile, taking another from his ice cream as she turned around to face him.

“I like hanging out with you…” She confessed and he chuckled.

“I’m the most horrible girlfriend in the history of horrible girlfriends.” She buried her face in her hand and held the ice cream with the other; Kris just sighed a laugh and didn’t answer her, too amused by her actions, because she actually looked really cute all frustrated like that.

“This is the time you step in and tell me, ‘oh Ji eun-ah, don’t be so hard on yourself’.” She faked a glare at him and he chuckled again.

“No I’m not gonna lie. What you’re doing is actually horrible; I’m not gonna be a part of this.” He exclaimed with a teasing smirk and she pouted at him.

“The problem is that I really love him…” She began, but he cut her off when he stopped.

“Why?” He exclaimed as he looked at her, suddenly all serious. Ji eun tilted her head and looked at him questionably.

“Why what?”

“Why do you love Chanyeol? You’ve only known each other for a couple of months, and only spending a week together in those 2 months, how did you manage to fall in love with him in such a short time? Or why do you say you love him?” He flashed the questions at her one after another, leaving her frozen in her place and unable to answer. Why did it suddenly feel like she was being accused of something bad, is it because she couldn’t answer? Or is it because she had no idea what the answer is?

Ji eun had no idea what she should say, why did she love Chanyeol? A few weeks ago this question would’ve been so easy to answer, but now her mind was blank. She was searching through her mind for an answer, but she didn’t seem to find any, and Kris noticed that, he scoffed and looked away from her, eyeing his surroundings before he spoke.

“Just like I thought…” He bit his bottom lip, and raised his stare to look at her. Ji eun looked at him with guilty and confused eyes.

“I don’t think you actually love him Ji eun-ah, I think you just love the idea of being in love with him. You can’t fall in love with a guy this fast.” He exclaimed with a mocking smirk, and walked past her, Ji eun stood in her place unable to move, she was suddenly speechless.

Kris continued walking with their back facing each other, before Ji eun’s voice made him halt in his steps.

“I just love him for no reason…” Kris turned around ready to argue with that before she continued again.
