May 30, Monday, Lunch time: CAFETERIA

You are having lunch with Donghae and the rest of the guys as usual. Hangeng is telling them about his upcoming ballet performance and invites everyone to watch. He is in a cheerful mood. Youngwoon, being the obnoxious guy he is despite having bandages on his forehead, interrupts the discussion.

"You do BALLET??? BALLETTTT???" he guffaws loudly.

Hangeng rolls his eyes at Youngwoon. This makes you and Heechul snicker.

"No matter how many time you judo throw, you don't have girl, Youngwoon," Hangeng says.

Everyone at the table laughs. Jungsu chuckles quietly as he takes a sip of his cool melon juice.

You see Kyuhyun sitting at the opposite end of the cafeteria. He is eating alone as usual. You feel kind of sorry for him and wish you could sit over there with him so he isn't so lonely, but people will be sure to talk if they see that happening. He glances your way, catching you by surprise. He smiles at you. You smile back. He points to your tablemates and you look away from him before people notice.

You glance around looking for Kibum. He is nowhere to be found.

Well, I don't really see the student council members eating here to begin with...

You look at the corner where you almost caught Flashlight guy last night.

Hmm...

"Hold on, guys, I'll be back," you say, as you stand up from the table and walk over to the corner.

It looks like a normal corner. With normal walls, and a normal floor and ceiling at its intersections. You try to feel for any secret passageways.

Nothing.

You try knocking on it.

It's made of cement. Nothing hollow.

What the heck just happened last night??? I guess it was just my imagination... That student council test was really SOMETHING if it made me THAT stressed. Dx

You give up and are about to walk back to the table when you see some stains on the floor. You take a closer look.

Is that... blood?

"Haneul, what are you doing??" Donghae calls out from the table.

You quickly stand up. "Nothing! I was just checking something, hahaha," you laugh nervously as you return to the table.

So last night wasn't just a hallucination. Come to think of it, what WAS Flashlight guy doing there last night? And could that possibly be his blood?

You start to worry.

"By the way, Youngwoon hyung," Sungmin speaks up. "Any news from the student council about the guys who beat you up?"

Youngwoon's expression becomes serious. Jungsu's aura completely changes as well. "Ah, those guys?" Youngwoon says. "Nothing yet. Anyway, they're stupid muggers. Trying to think that they can steal from me. Anyway, were you guys able to answer the third problem for our History homework?"

You observe Youngwoon and Jungsu.

I'm beginning to have a strong feeling that they're hiding something.

You decide to keep your hunches to yourself in case they find out and become extra careful that you find out the truth. You wonder when the student council will announce the results of the second screening.

Once I get in, I'll have free access to everything. I'll find out for sure.

You keep quiet and finish your food. Donghae tries to feed you his kimbap.

He pouts and tries to be cute. You give up and open your mouth. He places it in, smiling as if you just made him the happiest person in the world.

Hyukjae tries to feed you his kimbap as well.

"What is up with you guys and kimbap toda--??!"

While you are talking, Hyukjae mashes a handful of kimbap into your mouth. He just sits there and grins at you.

You stand up, eyes flaming with the intention to kill him. You grab a fistful of kimbap from his plate. He gets up and you chase him all around the cafeteria, pieces of kimbap fall on the floor as you try to chew the whole thing because you just love eating so much  because it would be such a waste to spit it out.

After your little ordeal, Hyukjae is on the floor with his mouth overflowing with kimbap. He is lying down lifelessly, trying to chew everything slowly.

There is a round of applause at the table for you.

"You run pretty fast, Haneul," Donghee comments.

"Why, thank you," you bow. "And I'm glad you guys enjoyed the show."

You go to class with the rest of the gang.
