A/N: I officially get back to writing scenarios tomorrow. This is just me warming up my writing a bit before I work on the requests. (^^) I still won’t be posting every day I think because I’m super busy but at least I’ll be posting? (;A;) Thanks for being supportive!!

You let forth a hefty sigh, closing the laptop that sat comfortably on your desk. Your fingers ran over the grainy wood surface, touching the grooves and pocks on its plane. Even as you touched the desk, your hands felt numb and cold. A shiver of discomfort shuddered horribly down your spine.

The hateful words were easy to find. Your position as a top idol’s girlfriend, your vulnerable personality, and the unavoidable susceptibility of public personalities gave his hateful fans an easy chance to voice their hurtful opinions against you.

When your relationship first went public, spiteful messages were easy to brush away. With time, they had eroded your cool surface, and began to prick painfully at your heart. Your cheeks felt hot, your hands shaking slightly with blind rage. It took self-control to ignore them, and you nearly cracked under the pressure to remain strong. Searing tears teemed in your eyes, and you wiped them away with the back of your hand. You looked at the clock, sighing heavily into your palms. Your boyfriend would be to your apartment in fifteen minutes, and you looked like hell.

His smile disappeared like a ghost when you opened the door. Your reddened eyes and dismayed expression raised a pounding worry in the depths of his chest.

“Are you alright?” he asked with concern. “What happened?” Another sigh wandered from your throat.

“Just antis again.” He gave you a reassuring pat on the back, confusion marking his eyes.

“I thought you didn’t let that get to you? You know that’s just one of the things public people have to deal with.” He opened your laptop, scanning the words on Twitter that had brought forth your forlorn mood. “Don’t let it bother you. They don’t know a thing about your life.” You grumbled, grabbing your arms self-consciously with your hands.

“That’s the problem,” you complained. “They don’t know anything about me! They’re judging my character from the little part they see in public. They don’t know when I’ve had a bad day, and they don’t care! They wouldn’t say that to someone they met on the street. How am I any different?” He sighed, pulling you close to his chest, his breath warm on the back of your neck.

“They don’t see you as a person. It’s the same as bullies on the internet. They don’t see you for who you are, and they don’t consider the fact that there’s a complex human being behind what they’re seeing. They will never give you the benefit of the doubt, and you’re wrong to expect that from them.” He kissed the top of your head. “Ignore them. They’re equally as human as you. Ignorantly, selfishly, and unavoidably human.”

You didn’t want to be reassured by his words. You wanted to be angry, to hate and to fight. But as he your hair comfortingly with his warm hands and lovingly scolded you for being upset, you found yourself calmed. He grinned, noticing the small smile that had replaced your frown.

“Besides. I love you, isn’t that all you need in the world?” You rolled your eyes and he fell backwards into a dramatic swoon. “My love is like the air you breathe! Like the food you eat!” You laughed.

“The food I eat? What’s wrong with you?” He snorted with laughter, causing the both of you to dissolve into a helpless pile of uncontrollable giggling. You stopped for a moment to smile happily at his crinkled eye-smile, at the laughter shaking his ribs. When it came to even your most petty concerns, you could always count on him to bring light where there was none.
