The day’s work had been long and extensive, albeit pleasurable. Your boyfriend and his group were filming a new music video for their comeback, and you had the opportunity to help out on the set. Doing so gave you an exclusive look into your boyfriend’s line of work, and allowed you to see him embracing his talents right before your eyes. Spending time with him, his fellow members, and the crew was always an exciting and entertaining way to use a day.

After the busy part of the work was finished, everyone went out for dinner and drinks. Laughter and energetic conversation dominated the restaurant, with the boys talking over each other and making jokes like brothers. Your cheeks and waist began to feel sore from the constant laughter, and your eyes sparkled brightly. Turning to face you, your boyfriend grinned. He loved to see you enjoy yourself with other people he held dearly.

Time scurried by like a startled animal, and soon it was time to return home. Your eyelids felt heavy on your face, but the sunny smile remained. Leaning close to your boyfriend, you walked together to the taxi and began your journey back to the apartment.

The sun had dipped behind the towering skyscrapers, and dazzling stars were sparkling in the hazy sky. Cuddled in your boyfriend’s arms, you gazed at the vibrant array of city lights that zoomed by as the taxi passed each building. The soothing motion of a cozy vehicle and your boyfriend’s snug embrace led your eyes to slowly lower shut.

Your head rested comfortably on his firm chest, your arms curled close to your face. He looked down and smiled, lifting your sleeping frame closer to him. He traced your features gently with his free arm, the only sound in the car being the soft pattern of your peaceful breath. Your eyelashes tickled his fingers as he brushed them carefully with his fingertip. Leaning close, he kissed your cheek and buried his face in your hair. Knowing you would have lightly had you been awake, he inhaled slightly. Something about the smell of your shampoo captivated him, offering a comforting embrace of sorts to his heart.

When the taxi arrived at his dorm, he lifted you gently from the seat, careful not to jostle you as you continued to sleep. He held you close to his body as he would with a child, keeping you warm with the heat radiating from his strong arms.

For a while he sat with you on the couch in the living room, appreciating the chance to hold you tightly. His legs started to fall asleep, and the rest of his body was to follow them to slumber soon. Once again he carried you, this time setting you with caution on his mattress. He set your shoes next to the bedframe and changed quickly for bed. A few more minutes passed as he cuddled you gently, wrapping his arms comfortingly around your waist. Something about your presence made him feel comfortable and serene, and it wasn’t long before he too drifted off to slumber.
