"Jeongmal?" Shinhye and Ha Ji Won asked simulaneously. 

"Neh," the secretary replied. 

"Uh anyonghaseyo," Shinhye bowed her head in respect while forcing her friend to do the same. 

"Jesongheyo but can you excuse us for a moment," the secretary asked Ha Ji Won. 

"Uh," she didn't want to leave. Even if this seemed like someone of importance. Shinhye tapped her arm letting her know she'll be fine. "Neh," she left her hospital room and waited patiently in the waiting room. 

"I'm sure you're upset with what happened," the secretary took no step further. She stood with a straight back and a stern look in her eyes. She obviously didn't care if Shinhye lost an arm due to her client. 

"Well I certainly wasn't expecting it," she replied. 

"I apologize on Yonghwa's behalf for this accident to occur. I hope you'll forgive him for this collision," she seemed to have taken the blame rather than the singer.

"Um where is he right now? Is he alright?" Shinhye asked. At first the secretary was surprised to hear her wonder about his state but understood thinking she was probably a fan. 

"He is well, I honestly am not sure of his whereabouts as of this moment," she answered.

"Is he drunk?" 

"Excuse me?" 

"Was he drunk when he hit me? He must be if he walked away after everything," Shinhye brought up. The secretary didn't know where he could be now. However she knew where he was right before the accident. She knew he wasn't drinking. He left in anger. 

"Well he must be sick due to all the hard work he puts in for his fans. He couldn't handle staying around-" she tried to defend the little brat.

"BULL!" Ha Ji Won busted in from overhearing their conversation through the door. 

"Yah!" Shinhye glared at her friend. 

"Sick my ! The cop just told me a man spoke to him right before he left the place. Yonghwa told him can't stay, not a good place for someone like me. You're protecting his rep aren't you? You're here to calm down for those press outside the hospital. Too bad the star isn't really here," Ha Ji Won figured it out perfectly. The secretary closed her eyes and breathed in deeply. 

"He wasn't drunk then? Yonghwa really hit me with no real reason then?" Shinhye didn't want to believe it but this hallyu star was horrible. 

"Look understand the pressure he is under. He has millions of fans to please. He left because of a personal issue that put him over the edge so he drove off. I assume he was speeding and you got in the way-"

"In the way? I got in the way? I was only crossing the street like a normal pedestrian. I looked left and right twice and didn't see him coming. Until he turned the corner at the last minute." Shinhye finally stuck up for herself. 

"I understand you're upset but imagine a million fans right now weeping over Yonghwa's accident. He really needs to keep up his status to please these fans.You don't want them all to die of shock their idol was responsible for such a crime. Let alone walking off." The secretary explained clearly yet it still didn't make sense to Shinhye. This woman is defending someone to keep up a lie. 

"You want Shinhye to lie to the press and say pretty words about Yonghwa? How it was her fault and not his? No ing way," Ha Ji Won fumed. Apparently the entertainment business couldn't afford losing a big star like him. No matter how ugly his personality was, his talent was still beautiful. 

"We'll pay you a large amount of money. We'll cover the hospital charges, we can give you surgery to remove this scars, and much more." The secretary took out her check book ready to listen for a number. She unhooked her briefcase revealing big bucks in store for the victim. "This is hardly any we'll pay you. And all you need to do is recite what we tell you to tell the press." The secretary explained.

"Look I have no interest in lying to the press. I'm just going to tell them the truth and that is that," she sat up in bed. 

"What if we pay you this amount of money?" His secretary jotted down an even bigger amount of cash. They really wanted to keep shut. She sighed rolling her eyes at this people. This is one of the reasons why she decided to end her dream. No way did she want to get involved with show business. "Please Shinhyessi we'd appreciate a fan's help to defend his reputation." The secretary pressed on. 

"Even if I do this it doesn't change the fact I almost died. Why are you speaking to me? Shouldn't the suspect be apologizing to me?" Shinhye couldn't believe the man no the boy couldn't talk to her himself. It was his fault they were in this situation. 

"If he apologizes then you'll cooperate?" The secretary had hope in her eyes. No way did Shinhye want to lie to the world. 

"Maybe," it really depended on if he would mean his sorries. That is if he'd show up at all.
