Rapper line special: Concert

Adventures of Bangtan toddlers

Hi, this is the rapper line special I promised (ft Kris & Luhan of EXO (not sure if that still applies) and Eric of Shinhwa). I personally don't stan Shinhwa or EXO, so please forgive me if their characters are out of place. I hope you guys are still enjoying these scenarios. Honestly, I find them fun to write. Hehe ;P @haninur32 I have no idea what Jjanggu means but that's the name of Jin's dog irl.

Sorry for not updating in a while! School just started and I'm already so stressed. I'll try to find time to write, but usually, it'll at night.

*I can write a sequel to Bangtan on a plane, but as I said, I haven't been to any countries outside Asia and Australia and in the story I mentioned they'd be going to Singapore to yeah...I hope you don't mind.

********************************************************

"Hyung...you gotta go!"

"No," Yoongi slumps onto his bed, throwing a pillow over his head to muffle his dongsaeng's annoying voice.

"Hyung~!!!" Hoseok jumps onto Yoongi, earning a glare from the other party.

"No means no!" Yoongi groans, burying his face into his pillow and trying to ignore the younger. Or simply hoping that Hoseok will just disappear when he opens his eyes.

But of course, that'll never happen with Hoseok. He just lays down on Yoongi and rubbing himself against the older's back, whining "Hyung~!" until Yoongi finally gives up, not able to stand it anymore.

"Fine, fine, fine!" Yoongi growls, and Hoseok springs off him, screaming, "Namjoonie! Hyung said he'd go!"

The maknae line and Seokjin are at some vocal lesson that they'd signed up for, leaving the three from the hyung line at home with absolutely nothing to do. Namjoon has taken Hoseok out to buy food (ice cream, milk, chocolate, sweets, dog food for Jjanggu and three lollipops) from the nearby grocery store, and Hoseok has seen a poster stuck to a pillar, talking about some kind of open-air rap concert near their house with people such as Zion T, G-Dragon and .

It has taken two ice creams and three bars of Cadbury chocolate to convince Namjoon to go, and Yoongi too. However, Hoseok knows the two of them have a slight interest. Yoongi is just lazy and Namjoon just wants Hoseok's ice cream and chocolate.

But Hoseok manages to convince the two of them to go. Seokjin and the maknae line won't be back until late at night, so they can just sneak out of the house. Of course, Seokjin-hyung won't be mad at them if they lock the doors and switch off all the electrical appliances after them, right? And he can possibly bribe Jjanggu with the dog food, right?

And Yoongi-hyung will buy them dinner...right?

Yup, Yoongi-hyung would. And they'd end up either eating a lot of kimchi fried rice again (but it's really good. Hoseok isn't complaining...yet, at least) or beef or chicken bulgogi that they'd eat at some restaurant or something, like the one down the road that Seokjin-hyung always takes them to.

Evening rolls around pretty quickly, and Hoseok is sitting, fidgeting in his seat. It's almost time for the concert, and Yoongi has already bought them dinner--sandwiches, before Hoseok sends Jjanggu to get Yoongi. Namjoon still has his head buried in a book.

"Joonie! It's almost time!" Hoseok bounces in anticipation, barely able to keep himself still and wondering how Namjoon is still so calm and collected.

"Yeah, I know," Namjoon says, not looking up from his book.

"B-B-B-B-B-But it's starting!" Hoseok whines, scooching closer to Namjoon until he's practically rubbing against him.

"It's not starting for another two hours."

"B-B-B-B-B-But two hours are soooooooo short!" Hoseok cries, trying to attract Namjoon's attention with his cringe-worthy aegyo that he's picked up somewhere.

"That's not what you say when Jin-hyung tells you to go do your homework," Namjoon says. "It's only one page of vocabulary and it's got you shouting 'hyung, five minutes are soooooooo long.'" He smirks as Hoseok's ears turn red.

"Hmph!" Hoseok pouts and folds his arms.

*********************************************************

Yoongi is barely dozing off when he feels a slobbering tongue against his cheek.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkk what? What is this thing?!" Yoongi screeches, trying to push Jjanggu back as the white dog jumps on his body, tackling Yoongi with .

"Y-Yah, how'd you even climb up here anyway?" Yoongi wipes some slobber off his cheek, shivering when he sees the dog's saliva. Jjanggu leaps down the bed excitedly. Yoongi scratches his head and looks up at the clock: 5:42pm. Seriously? Did Hoseok send the dog to wake him up? And Yoongi was going to have a nice sleep too. But then again, this rap concert has sparked an interest in him.

Groaning and muttering under his breath, Yoongi heads to the toilet to get cleaned up before he walks downstairs to the living room, where he finds Hoseok curled up against Namjoon reading a book, the older of the two sleeping soundly. So much for being so hyped up about the concert. Yoongi plops himself down on the sofa and switches the television on, flipping through the channels and finally deciding to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse since he's at it.

"Say Toodles!" the television blares, as Yoongi hurriedly turns the volume down, but Hoseok's light snores indicate he's still asleep. He throws a glare at Namjoon but the younger only sniggers, grinning at Yoongi.

"For a seven-year-old I expected you to watch something like Cartoon Network."

Yoongi rolls his eyes. He hates it when Namjoon uses big words like "expected". As if he knows what that means.

"I don't like watching Cartoon Network," Yoongi mutters, leaning back against the couch and waiting as Mickey Mouse runs towards that Clubhouse. He's glad that Hoseok's asleep, or else the younger will be pestering them for a whole two hours.

**********************************************************

"Is it starting? Come on, we gotta get front seats!" Hoseok clutches onto Yoongi's arm, the older slapping his forehead as he leads his two dongsaengs through the throngs of people, mostly men, who've gathered for the rap concert. There are a few girls too, but they're way older than them, in their twenties or so, Yoongi deduces.

"There are no seats, Hobi," Namjoon grins, pointing to the mass of bodies standing below the stage, the lighting making the stage visible, but not so much as to incite any real excitement amongst the audience. He swears he sees the hint of a pout on Hoseok's face, which disappears as quickly as it has come.

"Hey, Hobi, you want front seats, right?" Yoongi smirks, an idea popping into his head.

*********************************************************

After squeezing past the last crowd of knees and legs, Hoseok and Namjoon arrive at the front with Yoongi. Usually, being such a small size compared to the rest of the people here, Yoongi would consider it a disadvantage, but it seems maybe not so now.

"It's starting!" Hoseok squeals, grabbing onto Namjoon's hand and jumping up and down.

"Are you ready?!" a booming voice comes from the loudspeakers, and the three children are screaming along with the rest of the crowd. A man that Yoongi doesn't recognize steps out onto the stage, and begins the concert with a rap.

It's on this day that Yoongi has fallen in love with rap. He watches in amazement as lyrics spill from the man's mouth, the crowd screaming along. Soon, he finds himself mumbling the lyrics, not knowing what half of it means, but still following somehow. He finally turns his head to his dongsaengs and find Namjoon and Hoseok entranced by the performance also.

This is going to be an exciting night.

**********************************************************

"That was awesome!" Namjoon yells, grabbing onto his hyung's hand. "Zion T's so cool! No wonder Jungkook likes him!" Yoongi can't help but agree...that is, until he finds that Hoseok is gone.

Gone. Like literally, vanished from their sides.

"Y-Yah, Namjoon! Hoseok's gone!"

"Huh?" Namjoon tries to turn his head, trying to ignore the screams and cheers of the roaring crowd as he tries to look for Hoseok. He catches sight of something: "Look!"

Yoongi looks at the ground, where Namjoon is pointing to, and sees a set of footprints, not stomped by anybody since it's past the barrier (those kinds of rope things that are hung from one metal pole to another). Yoongi and Namjoon decide to abandon their place to find their brother.

**********************************************************

Hoseok's mouth is opened in an "O" shape, finding himself in the makeshift dressing rooms of the various rappers. There are names over the door, such as "Key & Minho", "Junhyung & Dongwoon", "Zelo", and others. Hoseok finds himself walking into one of the rooms, surprisingly ignored by the coordi-noonas running everywhere, touching up on makeup on the artists; there are two of them sharing the room: someone called Kris and someone called Dongwoo.

Hoseok ends up hiding behind the cardboard boxes stacked on top of each other, filled with things such as cool, black outfits, sparkly jackets and makeup material.

"Heyo."

"Yaaa--!" Hoseok nearly screams out loud, but the other person laughs and clamps a hand over his mouth.

"Yah, don't scream," the man grins. Hoseok swears he saw this man somewhere before.

"How do you do? I'm Luhan," the man smiles down at Hoseok. "You aren't supposed to be in here."

"I-I-I-I'm sowwy!" Hoseok bows down, looking at the ground, ears turning red. "I-I-I just thought this pwace looked cool, y'know..I'm sowwy!" Luhan laughs and ruffles Hoseok's hair, earning a few questioning gazes from coordi-noonas running about.

"Relax," Luhan takes Hoseok's hand. "I'll give you a tour of the dressing room, hmm? I'll bring you to meet my friend."

"Your friend?" Hoseok looks up at Luhan.

"Yeah, one of the performers for the night. Kris," Luhan says, and leads Hoseok to find the prettiest man Hoseok has ever seen.

Kris is seated on a chair...playing a game on his phone. But nevertheless, the rapper still looks handsome, with his hair slicked back and huge amounts of makeup on his face. Kris looks up as Luhan approaches with Hoseok, the latter looking a little embarrassed, with his flaming face and shaking hands, hiding behind Luhan.

"Ah, you're cute," Kris's face breaks out into a smile as he shoves his phone into his pocket. "What's your name?"

"H-Hoseok," Hoseok mumbles, a little overwhelmed at being in the presence of a rapper great enough to be here.

"Do you like raps?" Kris asks, eyes twinkling, but Luhan holds a hand on his friend's shoulder, laughing. "Yah, don't scare the kid!"

"U-Uh yeah!" Hoseok nods, grinning now. "It's really cool! And my brothers like raps too!"

"Your brothers? Are they here today?" Kris asks.

"Um yeah. They're still back in the...ah!" Hoseok suddenly looks scared. "Hyung'll be so mad at me..."

"We'll go find your hyung," Luhan gives the boy a pat on the back. "Come on."

All of a sudden, there's the blaring of the loudspeakers: "Now, let's show some enthusiasm for our next performer: Zelo!"

"Sorry I can't go," Kris says. "I'm up after Zelo, on standby."

"See you then," Luhan says. "I'm going to look for Hoseok's brothers." He and Hoseok wave goodbye to Kris, the latter waving back, before the two of them head out into the crowd.

************************************************************

Namjoon and Yoongi look lost, stopping in front of the dressing rooms for the rappers. He looks up and sees a tall man heading out from the dressing room and he is walking to the stage. He doesn't even give them a glance as he walks by, though to be fair, both Namjoon and Yoongi's hair are black, and they're both wearing black shirts with black shorts. Not to mention they're in the shadows.

"The footprints lead there!" Namjoon points to the ground, as the footprints end at the front of the dressing room.

"You really think Hobi went in there?" Yoongi hisses as the two begin to sneak towards the dressing room. Maybe they'll get thrown out of the dressing room by a guard or something. Or even worse.

The worst thing of all, that makes the maknae line shed tears upon hearing of it, that makes Namjoon quake in his shoes, Hoseok shiver and clutch onto Yoongi's arm, and it makes Yoongi want to curl up into a ball and bury his head into the ground like the ostrich.

They might call Jin-hyung.

Namjoon shivers, and he doesn't want to think about that. Having Jin-hyung know is the worst.

No pizza. No steak. No bulgogi. No chocolate cake. No Pokemon. No TV. No nothing until they owned up for their mistake and paid back by cleaning their rooms, sweeping the floor or helping set the tables in the kitchen (only when Jin-hyung is in a better mood than usual).

"L-Let's go," Yoongi can barely hide the trembling in his voice at the same thought that Namjoon has in his head.

Yoongi grabs Namjoon's hand and the two head into the dressing room.

Inside, it's a long hallway (in Yoongi's eyes), with various dressing rooms connected by a door to the hallway. Being the daredevil in the group (at least, slightly more than the other), Yoongi peeks into each of the rooms, either finding coordi-noonas running around with makeup or bottles of hair gel in their hands or the rappers themselves just sitting there and using their phone or laptop or reading some magazine.

"Nope," Yoongi closes another door as quietly as he can. He turns around and sees a guard staring at them. Namjoon gulps.

"What are you kids doing here?" the guard looks down at them menacingly. "Come with me."

He's going to call Jin-hyung! Namjoon and Yoongi realize, staring at each other for a full two seconds before another voice stops them from having to follow the guard.

"Those kids are my ward. They have a right to be here."

Namjoon and Yoongi look toward the sound of the voice, and they see a tall man in a leather jacket walking towards them. Yoongi looks at Namjoon. What does "ward" mean? You mean like hospital wards?

"Ah, I apologize, Eric-ssi," the guard bows, before he gives the children another once-over while heading back to his post.

"You kids okay? He's a little...feisty at times," the man called Eric walks over. "How'd you do. Name's Eric, from Shinhwa. Heard of us?"

"Uh..." Yoongi looks over at Namjoon, who looks just as guilty.

"Ha, it's okay," Eric nods. "Why're you here anyways? You aren't allowed back here."

"U-Um, we're looking for our brother," Yoongi says, taking it upon himself, as he's the older of the two, to explain their situation and predicament.

"I saw another kid running around here just now," Eric says. "He went out with Luhan to find his brothers. I suppose you must be them?"

"Y-Yeah," Yoongi nods vigorously, joined by Namjoon.

"I'll go find them for you. Come along."

"W-What about your p-performance?" Namjoon stutters, a little embarrassed at having Eric bail them out.

"My performance is the last one," Eric grins. "And it'll probably be another forty-five minutes or so, considering that there's a fifteen-minute intermission. There's plenty of time." He leads Namjoon and Yoongi out of the dressing room, in the shadows behind a few trailers.

"See those two?" Eric points to a small little boy with his hand held by a much taller man, whom Namjoon deduces as Luhan, and even from the back, he can tell the little boy is Hobi. No doubt about it.

"HOBI!" Namjoon yells, running over.

Nearly jumping ten feet into the sky, Hoseok whirls back and finds his brothers Namjoon and Yoongi running over.

"Hyung! Joonie!" Hoseok screams, running over and enveloping his brothers in a group hug.

"You guys must be really interested in rap to come to a rapping concert. Usually little kids like you would like to sing," Eric observes.

"B-But rapping's fun, and besides, we can't sing," Namjoon grins.

"I bet you guys will make great rappers next time," Luhan says. "Well, go along now. There are a few performances left before the intermission, then it'll be Eric-hyung's showtime."

************************************************

"WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU GO?!"

Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok are looking down at the ground, scared...no, terrified, to face their hyung. Seokjin is scary when he's mad.

"U-U-Uh...the rapping concert..." Yoongi mumbles, shuffling his feet. It isn't helping that Taehyung and Jimin are watching from the balcony and Jungkook is snoring peacefully in his bed.

"DID YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS WHEN I COULDN'T FIND YOU IN THE HOUSE?!" Seokjin explodes. "YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME...YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN HAVE GONE AT ALL!"

Apparently, Namjoon forgot that the lesson today that the maknae line and their hyung had attended was supposed to end earlier than usual, and now Seokjin has found out about their disappearance. According to him, he had searched the entire house, went to their preschool and asked if they were there, contacted Bang Sihyuk and had practically the whole neighbourhood search.

They never considered the rapping concert that night because there were actually tickets that they needed to buy, and of course, with their size, Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok managed to sneak in...for free and was totally oblivious to the fact that there was someone collecting tickets at the entrance of the concert place.

"S-Sorry, hyung," Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok bow low.

"No pizza. No cakes. No games. No TV. Not until you finish your punishment. Yoongi, you have to finish reading that Geronimo Stilton book by this week, or else no anything for the rest of your life. Namjoon, you have to clean the toilet every day for the entire week. Hoseok, you have to help me set the table every day for all three meals for this week, and that means you have to wake up as early as I do."

Seokjin, now a little satisifed, watches as the three children's mouths are open in a big "O".

"I'll see you tomorrow morning, Hobi-ah."

Chapter 38: Ah, so cute! I really enjoy your stories, ty!
I cook for a living, but since I grew up with western dishes and that's what my current clientele prefer I am proudest of my soondubu jjigae which my family have been the taste testers for. However, at work, my coworkers favourite is my macaroni and cheese while the clients prefer the sweet and sour pork.
Watching RapMon chopping an onion was truly entertaining!
