AUTHOR’S POV:

 

Aiden and everyone in Seoul headquarters where busy since they received a tip that might use another yatch for their shipment, and they’ve learned that he owns two mansions in Jeju, so the team will be splitting up. Aiden was so stressed out when he heard the news, he’s afraid that Lee might escape and he will lose the chance to interrogate him face to face. He slammed his table in frustration, plus he has not yet settled things between him and Krystal. He wanted to explain, he wanted to tell her why he’s been avoiding her for the past month but he’s still contemplating about that. Henry patted his back seeing Aiden like this is not new to him; he knows what the younger guy is thinking. “Aide, focus man, I know how much you’re dying to ask him those questions but you need to calm yourself” Henry tried to lessen Aiden’s worries. “Go and meet your girl before we leave, tell her Aide, I’ll see you and don’t be late man” Henry said and left.    Aiden gathered his things and reminded Soojung about their meet this afternoon; of course he called her earlier before they started their long meeting that’s why the young girl cancelled the supposed to be first meeting with her fiancé. Soojung was waiting for Aiden patiently “he told me to wait here but until now, Aish” she mumbled impatiently as she sat down by the bench near the fountain. Her patience is getting slimmer, she tried calling Aiden but he won’t pick up. It was the nearest mall from her penthouse that they decided to meet. She’s starting to think that Aiden’s really changed for this past month and she couldn’t stop asking why, did she said or did anything that would upset him? She was sad at the same time angry since her stomach started to complain. She even cancelled her appointment with her unknown and never been seen fiancé.   After her lunch and talk with her dad Soojung was really confused and right now she needed Aiden so much, she wanted to decline with the marriage but how when she knew that they needed it, she sighed remembering their conversation earlier and she somewhat pitied her father. But she was starting to suspect that there’s something that her dad was hiding from her. Somewhat she felt the reason why her sister left was not just because of her supposed to be arranged marriage to Lee’s son but something about her dad’s works. She was drowned on her thoughts when a familiar figure caught her eye; she blinked twice trying to make sure that it was really him, “Yah! That jerk he didn’t even bother sending me a message that he’s here?” she stormed her way to where that certain guy. A smile was formed on her face seeing how he was dressed, she finds it attractive, and his new hair cut caught her eye “y” she mumbled as she approached him giving him a smack.    Weird normally he would scold me every time I smack him, but it’s cute when he just rubbed his head and pouted like a kid. What’s up with this guy, he’s acting so weird, why is he so tensed? I bit my lip, maybe because of last night? And we didn’t even have the chance to talk about it, but I hope he wasn’t upset. I drag him to my favorite fast food, yes an American fast food since I lived in the U.S for so long I really missed western food. Wow this is really weird he usually hates it when we eat in here coz he says it’s unhealthy, but well I think he wanted to tell me something. I know he’s been busy for their top secret operation so I didn’t bother to ask but truth is I’m so damn worried I don’t want to lose him, I can feel that this mission is dangerous but I don’t want him to think that I’m being too overprotective, It’s his work so I have to respect that even if I hated his work. Don’t get me wrong, I just don’t want to lose someone important in my life again, it’s a dreadful experience to deal with.   I don’t know what happen to Aiden but I like him being like this, I can see how he stares at me and I’m lying if I say I don’t like it and he’s so funny I’ve never seen him zone out in front of me, I know I’m pretty but the way he looks at me right now, I swear I could melt. I was laughing inside when the lady at the counter glared at him too; he didn’t realize that he just stood there like for five minutes. I saw him blush due to embarrassment, I’m starting to think that Aiden don’t love me anymore that maybe I’m just one of his girls but today he made me the happiest. I was really moved when he handed me a box, seriously for the months that we’ve been together he never gave me anything I mean sure he always takes me to dinner but not like this. I couldn’t contain my happiness and I couldn’t control my heart beat anymore coz it’s beating uncontrollably.
