AMBER’S POV:

 

I’m Amber Joseph Liu, my friends call me AJ only the closest one’s call me Amber, twenty three years old and single, never had a girlfriend. Girls? Believe me I have a lot of fan girls but I’m really not interested, I prefer to be friendly with them that’s why my image in college was well, they say I’m a playboy. Seriously? Can’t a guy be friendly? Well I’m very friendly with both male and female but whoa! I’m not gay! I’m totally solid on that department. I don’t know I never fell in love, I never found someone special and truth is I’m still hoping to see her again the girl that dad introduced me twelve years ago, we we’re in New York that time.  I can never forget her pretty face, and the truth is she don’t look friendly she even gave me the scariest glare that I’d ever seen but I find it cute, she’s perfect and I also met her sister who was scarier than she is. I know she must have forgotten the first time that we met coz that’s way before, no I’m not a hopeless romantic type of guy but I can be sweet, but really I didn’t find the girl that will make my heart beat like crazy, so much for that I think I will never experience falling in love since dad already decided for me.   Truth is the main reason why I am still single till now? Coz I saw how dad was when mom left worst is she took my brother with him; yup he’s my twin brother.  He was devastated, but for me when they left it was a big hole in my heart. Dad was always not around, so I grew up to be different I was scared to interact with other people except for the maids in our mansion, of course Mr. Kwon who was like my dad and my brother Yuri, I was scared to talk especially with girls that’s why I was bullied because I have a long hair back then and I’m afraid of girls. But that’s my sad past already I grew up to be a strong man on my own I don’t want to be stuck of the things that could have been this and that, I just want to keep my hopes high and hope for the better. I can’t blame dad for being away and busy all the time, he needs that for himself I know he loves mom so much even if he doesn’t say.   I never asked the real reason why did it happened to us, even though I always felt that I was alone and neglected, I tried to asked dad but I only get nothing so when I reached seventeen, I decided to hire a private investigator secretly. I guess I can never have secrets with dad he was so furious when he knew that I was looking for mom and hyung. I never stopped searching for them till one day dad told me maybe they’re living in Japan, he even hired a private investigator to search for them, but there’s no luck until now. Ever since dad told me about the marriage, and me handling the branch in Korea, I find it odd coz he was never this enthusiastic even before, there’s something in Korea that intrigues him that I need to find out.   I don’t know what I’m doing in my life; I left so many good friends in New York & L.A my hometown, my position as the president of LiuCorp NYC to be half way around the world that's ridiculous right? Including the hot girls that were constantly chasing me, haha. I hated this fixed marriage idea but I can see that my dad was happy; he really wanted me to get marry at this age? Funny thing is that I could never say no to dad, I think it’s my weakness since I longed for his attention so much and of course he’s the only family that I have plus I hate to see him sad or disappointed so I’m doing this. I can always try if this works right and if not we could always get a divorce I just hope this girl is not ugly or a monster coz why would his dad agree with my dad’s crazy idea besides it’s the 20th century already, damn this old folks are sure pain in the . Good thing that I know five languages so Korean would not be a problem.   I was not in the mood when Yuri greeted me along with the mansion and maids I hated big houses it makes me feel like I’m all alone, well he was sent here a week ahead of
