AMBER’S POV:     I was so nervous that night, I know that for her this was just a messed up fixed marriage but for me it’s more than that. Maybe I’m really stupid like she used to call me, but we can never predict who or when do we fall in love right? Being with her, I can’t even explain the feeling, for that night I thought that I made her smile genuinely. After what happened between us that day and after the truth came rumbling down I saw hate in her eyes. But the night when I was planning to ask her hand formally it felt so real, but I guess that’s just for me. Grandpa and grandma was fond of Krystal I could tell, I’ve spent an hour listening to their advices and to do lists to be a good husband, wedding is in three months though I appreciate every bit of it but the two oldies went overboard about it. “Give me grand children soon Amber” the two said in unison, grand children? Krystal will probably strangle me to death if I dare touch her, that’s impossible I just sigh in defeat. Grandma really changed she wasn’t the same old uptight lady that I used to know and I had a feeling that she favor Krystal more than her real grandson.

 

I was floating when I saw her that night on our engagement party; she was stunningly the most beautiful girl that I’d laid my eyes on. Probably it was just me but she’s like a goddess who captured my heart when she walked into my life. I know I might be exaggerating but it’s what I feel; she got me under her spell damn. She wore a simple night gown but I just couldn’t take my eyes off her, once again I was enchanted by Krystal Jung. She introduced me to her friends and they we’re all friendly they even got my number you  know. Anyway as the night goes deeper I was stuck with the gentlemen of course with my soon to be father in law, hyung, dad and their acquaintances in business world. Even so it didn’t stop me from well checking out my fiancée which looks so cute laughing with her friends. I thought when she said she can it will mean that she will try to make things work out between us,so much for my happy night. I was thrilled when she said she wanted to talk privately, but then my heart shattered or I might say it was crushed.   She said she needed space I wasn’t able to hold my feelings anymore so I told her what I felt and that I love her but looking at her expression I know it’s just a drop in the ocean. Krystal is in love with my brother, and that’s what hurts the most. I felt so numb but I did my very best to hold myself together in front of her, I even put up a smile. I never felt any of these feelings, I used to have girls chasing after me, and I rejected each of them politely but I never knew it would feel like this I never fell in love and it , it hurts like hell. How can she have a strong hold of me when I just knew her, and we’ve slept together but for her it was just a mistake.  “Thanks Amber for being nice and understanding” that’s the last word I heard from her before I turned away before my tears fell. I thought the pain was just it; I was lying on my bed when my phone rang.   FLASHBACK:   “Amber, this is Victoria Soojung’s friend” after what she said I rushed to the address where noona told me about. They were inside the VIP room and Soojung was throwing tantrums she was so drunk. “Sorry Amber I didn’t know who to call” she mumbled pointing the two other drunk girls who were already asleep. “You, Aiden look alike why are you here?” she mumbled holding my face giving me a light slap. “Soojung” Vic called her name and shook her head looking at me I just flashed my smile at her. “Go away! I told you I don’t want to see you!” she said with her slurred speech. I wipe her faced since she was perspiring a lot “Yah! I told you don’t touch me okay” she exclaimed pushing my hands off.“I’m sorry Amber, she doesn’t mean that she’s just upset and thanks for coming” she mumbled and smiled sweetly.    No problem noona, I carried the two to Vic noona’s car before I went back and carried Soojung to my car she was sleeping to our way home.  Gladly I still remember the code of her house why did she drink too much? Is it because of Aiden or our marriage? Again I’m feeling the pain, but it hurt more when she called me “Aiden” she mumbled as I tucked her in her bed. The scent of the room was the same it smells so like her intoxicating as ever. I took of her heels, wipe her face with washed cloth and as much as I hate to do it I h
