(Third person POV)

Kyungsoo wasn’t one for confrontations. 

In the five years that she’d known him, three of those years spent as a friend and the other two as his girlfriend, Kyungsoo never did once speak up nor confront any misunderstandings. He would always turn and walk away, leaving the problem hanging like smoke; letting silence take over the household like a dark cloud. 

It’s been a week and a half and Kyungsoo hasn’t spoken a single word to her. In fact, he didn’t even come home to their shared apartment in the past few days and chose to stay over at their dorm with the rest of his bandmates. Suho, one of s, had even called her asking if something happened, considering that Kyungsoo hardly stays at the dorm when their schedules are loose and would prefer going home to their apartment which was only a half an hour drive from theirs.

“The usual.” Y/N mumbled against the receiver and she heard Suho sigh.

“Do you want me to talk to him?”

“He’s a grown man, Junmyeon. I think he can handle things on his own.”

“Yeah but, you’re my friend too Y/N. And I hate seeing the two of you like this.” He reasoned and she smiled slightly, appreciating his concern.

“Plus Kyungsoo’s been raiding the kitchen since he got here!” He added in a sharp hiss.

She smiled at the thought, glad to know that Kyungsoo was just as upset as she was. He had the tendency to ‘cook’ his emotions and spends his time in the kitchen cooking, eating, or cleaning whenever he was upset or dismayed. 

“I don’t know, Joon.” You sighed as you fiddled with the hem of your skirt. “I’m just not in the mood for this right now.”

“He’ll come around.” Suho assured and you could almost feel him smiling from across the lines. “He always does right?”

She her lips and nodded before thanking him and hanging up with a promise of getting in touch soon. She looked up and saw the time: it was 7:46 in the evening. With a grunt, she grabbed her bag by the couch and moved to the study to continue her To-Do-List. On top of that list was a progress report she had to do for work, not to mention a presentation she had to finish before the week ends.

Better get started on it now, she thought before dragging her feet to the room.

It was half past eleven when she felt her eyelids drooping, exhaustion seeping through her bones. She was halfway through her progress report when words started jumbling in her brain, causing her to type incoherent sentences. She groaned and buried her face on her hands, sighing deeply.
