It has been almost a month since you started dating your boyfriend, Kris. It was still so surreal to you that someone like him; handsome, sweet, talented, and was practically perfect in every way, actually liked you and asked you to be his. You were ordinary compared to all those other girls but to Yifan, you were perfect. He made you feel special as if you were the only girl who had made him do a double take...that had made him think: she's the one and I gotta make her mine.

Kris was your first boyfriend and you couldn't help but feel nervous at that fact. Everything was so new to you; the way your heart races when he was near, the butterflies in your stomach, the hand holding, the sweet exchange of text messages, and even the fact that you were able to call him as your boyfriend still felt so foreign to you (in a good way).

Although that was the case, Kris, being the perfect boyfriend that he is, had helped you through it. He was proud that you were his first boyfriend and he wanted to make sure that you never regret that. He never pushed you into doing anything you didn't want to do; He never made you uncomfortable and let things go as slowly as you wanted; and he took the lead in the relationship but was always open to you and always thought about how you wanted things to go. He was so sweet and you couldn't help but think how on earth you had deserved someone like him. 

It was a lazy Saturday afternoon and you were spending it with Kris, watching a good movie. The two of you were cuddling on the couch as Kris kept saying sweet nothings into your ear making you giggle; the movie evidently neglected. 

"Jagi~" he mumbled against your hair. 

"What?"

He looked you in the eye and grinned that gum-smile of his, "You're so beautiful I actually forgot what my pick up line was." 

At that you laughed and turned to face him."That's the worse one yet!" You said, and then realized how close he was. His face was only a few inches apart from yours and you felt your heartbeat quicken it's pace as you felt his gaze lower to your lips. 

He's gonna kiss me, you thought as you felt him leaning towards you, his eyes closing. 

Instead of leaning forward, you found yourself leaning back little by little. Kris noticed this and he opened his eyes, seeing your somewhat fearful expression. "What?" He gave you a questioning look. "Does my breath stink?"

You bit your lip, shaking your head. "No it's just that--"

Kris stared at you, realizing what you're about to say. "Don't tell me you've never--"
You shook your head. 
"Really?" He seemed completely surprised. "Not once?"

"Well you are my first boyfriend," you rolled your eyes at him. "And I didn't consider that accidental kiss with my classmate in third grade to be actually a kiss."

Kris chuckled then stared at curiously, "So you've never had your first kiss, huh?"

You shook your head as you played with the hem of your shirt, feeling both shy and embarrassed. Kris grabbed your hand and you looked up at him, seeing his sweet smile. "It's okay, Y/N. There's nothing to be embarrassed about."
