Hoseok was everything you could ask for in a boyfriend. It was almost half a year since you've been together and your relationship was going strong. You liked him alot since the day you've met him and you never would have thought how much you'd love him in the long run. It just started with a simple admiration for his talent in dancing and rapping, then it turned into a liking for his happy and caring personality; and now that you're together and had been dating for a few months, you can say that you have now fallen completely in love with him. Not just with his talent and personality, but even with his flaws and imperfections; which in your opinion made him even more perfect in your eyes. 

There was a gathering at your family's place and considering how steady your relationship with him has been, you had decided to invite him. It wasn't the first time he was going to meet your family. In fact, your family loved him the first time they met, immediately drawn by his bubbly and jolly personality. But it was the first time that he would be attending a family event with you and it made him a little nervous; wanting to impress your relatives as well. 

"Relax, yeobo." You cooed as you fixed his tie. "They will love you. Everyone does."

Hoseok smiled down at you, "Sorry. I'm just..." He huffed in frustration. "I just want to be the boyfriend you can show off, you know? 

"You already are." You patted his cheek before hooking your arm with his. "I have JHope of Bangtan with me. Take that people!" You made a weird swagger gesture which made Hoseok laugh. 

"Aigoo Jagi~ You're so cute trying to act all swag."

You grinned, happy that you cheered him up. "Stop worrying, then. If anyone should be nervous, it should be me." You admitted, a soft sigh coming off your lips. "I mean you're perfect! You got everything! Looks, talent, personality, career... And here I am...just me."

Hoseok turned you around to face him and he held your chin up so he can look you in the eye. "You're never just you." He said seriously. "You're everything to me, Y/N." 

Your heart fluttered at his words and you couldn't help but smile widely. Even if the two of you had been dating for a while now, you never seemed to have left the honeymoon phase; with the two of you constantly throwing greasy lines at each other. You tiptoed to kiss him on the lips and Hoseok leaned down to make it easier for you. 

You broke the kiss after a few seconds, leaving a dazed looking Hoseok. "As much as I'd love to kiss you Hobi... I don't think it's appropriate that we make out in front of my cousin's house where any of my relatives could jump in on us at any moment."

Hoseok chuckled as he offered his arm towards you, which you gladly took. "I guess you're right. Let's go."

The moment the two of you went in, you felt like a celebrity as almost everyone approached you to give their welcomes and greetings. It was always like this at your family reunions: noisy, crowded, and fun. With the addition of good food!

You introduced Hoseok to everyone you met and he greeted them back politely and soon fell into an easy and casual conversation with your relatives. He was a the star of the party and everyone wanted to meet him. You watched him as he talked to your family members and was simply awed by his friendliness towards them. You saw the way he nodded at the right moments in the conversation; the way he smiled and laughed at your uncle's lame jokes; the way he complimented your aunts and girl cousins, making them blush and slightly swoon; you even saw the way he played with the little kids, and you wouldn't have known that he was actually a stranger to them.  

He fitted right in and you couldn't help but be overwhelmed by that thought. He's perfect, you sighed to yourself. 

You were having dinner and was sitting beside Hoseok along with the other family members, who talked and laughed loudly. The two of you were leaning towards each other, whispering to hear what the other was saying. Hoseok was just telling you about your uncle's joke when you felt a slight tap on your shoulder. You looked up and your eyes widened when you saw who it was, "Chen?"

"Hey you." He grinned and you stood up from your seat, giving him a big hug. "Ohmygosh! When did you get back?!"

"Just a few days ago," he chuckled and bumped your chin with his fist. "How have you been? I've missed you, Y/N."

You grinned from ear to ear and Hoseok couldn't help but notice how happy you were to see this guy. "I'm good.. I'm good. I've missed you too! How long has it been?" You tilted your head to the side. 

"Two years." He answered. "I see you haven't changed. Still beautiful as ever."  
You blushed in embarrassment but before you could say something back, you heard Hoseok clear his throat. 

You were so happy at seeing Chen that you totally forgot about your boyfriend. "Oh! Chen, I almost forgot." Hoseok stood up from his seat as you grabbed his hand. "This is my boyfriend, Hoseok."

Hoseok smiled at how you had labeled him your boyfriend when he was introduced and his heart swell with pride. "Hi." He said, offering his hand. 

"Nice to meet you." Chen said, shaking his hand with a firm grip. "I see Y/N hasn't change in her taste in men." He winked at you. 

You blushed at the comment and tried to cover it up by rolling your eyes. Hoseok, however, noticed it and was slightly intrigued by what Chen meant. And what exactly the wink was all about and how he made you blush like that. "Whatever. Have you had dinner yet?"

"No, I'm starved." Chen said as he moved to the other side of the table.
