"MI-HI! NO!!!!!"

Hoseok woke up with a start, sweating and panting. He flailed in bed as the screeching tires echoed in ears, his heart doing jumping jacks in his chest making it hard for him to breathe. It took him a moment to realize that he was sitting on his own bed, in his own room. He looked around and his heart calmed a bit. "It's just a dream," He said to himself. "Just a dream." 

He looked over to the bedside table and saw his alarm clock which was blinking 3:15 AM. He ran a hand over his face and counted to ten to calm his breathing. 

It felt so real, he thought as his breathing went back to it's normal pace. He then reached out to his side but touched nothing when his hand should've been met by a warm figure. He snapped his head to his left to find the space empty and cold. His eyes widened and his heart started beating widely in his chest again. 

"Mi-hi?" He called. 

There was no answer. 

He looked around the room and he was pretty sure that he was in his own apartment not the BTS dorm. "Mi-hi?" He called again, panic rising in his chest this time. When there was still no answer, he jumped out of bed instantly and went out the door, calling her name over and over again like a crazy man. 

"Mi-hi?" He called again as he was walking briskly through the living room, feeling more afraid every second. 

"Mi--" he was just about to enter the kitchen when something cold hit his shirt and the sound of shattering glass piereced his ears.

"Hoseok!" Mi-hi exclaimed as she gawked at the glass of water he caused her to drop. "What on earth are you doing?" 

Hoseok watched her with wide eyes as she she tried to wipe his wet shirt with a cloth."You need to change your shirt--"

Hoseok grabbed her arms and moved her aside, away from the shattered glass, before giving her a hug. Mi-hi was so surprised she didn't even move her arms to hug him back, and it remained limp at her sides.

"You're here." He gasped agaisnt her neck as his body shook and Mi-hi's eyes widened at his behavior. "Hoseok-ah--"

"I thought I lost you, Mi-hi! I woke up and you weren't there!" He cried as he clutched at her, afraid that if he didn't hold her tight she might disappear. "You weren't there!" He cried harder. "I really thought you were gone!" Mi-hi's heart broke as Hoseok's knees buckled and he ended up kneeling in front of her, clutching her waist. "Don't leave me, Mi-hi. Please."

"Hey..." She pushed his face away from her to cup his cheeks. She knelt in front of him and made him look at her. "Calm down, Hobi." She chuckled slightly. "I'm not going anywhere."

Hoseok only cried more and hugged her tight, "Where have you been?" He whined. 

"I went to get some water! If that wasn't obvious already." She rolled her eyes. "What has gotten into you?" 

"I had a dream that you broke up with me..."

"Hoseok..."

"And then you got hit by a car and died!" he sobbed. "It was horrible Mi-hi! It felt so real!"
