i feel like T.A.O is the song for tao himself only, that he is trying to make himself feel good with this song
as the amount of hate he has and as a human, there’s sth in him that makes him want to take revenge on people, with the lyrics like that and the sassy rap voice, he’s like trying to say “im fine, i dont need ya people, im good by myself, im TAO”, he’s trying to protect himself by isolating himself from people
but then in those 2 songs, he is back to his fragile side by expressing how he loves and appreciates people around him, he’s willing to do anything for people as long as they don’t leave him, he needs people because loneliness is human’s biggest fear
he also sings with a soft voice like he’s crying, he’s actually feeling depressed, that is his real feelings
that’s why i shed tears while listening to Yesterday & One heart, because i feel like i can feel his emotions in these songs, it’s something sad and gloomy, i want to hug him, i want him to know we won’t leave him, i don’t want him to feel empty anymore"
