Jiyeon's POV:

After months of preparation, we were finally shooting our music video for our Comeback next month. The song we were coming back with was titled 'You're Pitiful', a song about a couple who has broken up but the guy still can't get over the girl and is being pathetic. 

Since it was mid-November, the weather has been quite chilly as winter is approaching. We were in a warehouse where a studio was set up with the different sets for the filming. It was currently 5AM in the morning and we were whisked here once we woke up, hence the girls were a little dazed. I had hastily thrown on a white sweater and black jeans, paired with black sneakers.

"Annyeonghaseyo." We bowed and greeted the staff before heading to meet the director. "We are J! Jenie! Annyeonghaseyo, Jenie imnida!" We greeted the Director who smiled and greeted us back.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Lee Jonghwan imnida." The director who looked in his 40s, had his golden hair tucked underneath a cap and dressed in a blue jumper and jeans introduced himself. He then waved a tall male over who looked somehow familiar. 

"Omo it's Baek Seungheon!" I heard Jira squeal softly to us who only gave her a puzzled look. She rolled her eyes and explained to us, "He's the actor in Woohyun and Sungyeol sunbae's drama, High School: Love on.' He acted as one of the mean trio, remember?" 

"Ahhhh" We chorused when it finally rang a bell. Now I remember, I think I've heard his songs before as well and they were quite nice. 

"He will be acting as the male lead." The director said and we exchanged greetings. 

"We are J! Jenie! Annyeonghaseyo, Jenie imnida." We bowed together before giving our individual greetings.

"Ah ye, annyeonghaseo, Baek Seungheon imnida." He bowed and smiled, his dimples forming at the corner of his lips, making him look really cute. 

After that, we were explained the story and general plot before going in depth about each scene and what kind of feelings were to be brought across. Jenny unnie and I were going to be the two female leads, Jenny unnie being the current girlfriend and I, the ex-girlfriend.

We were getting our make-up done when my phone buzzed on the dressing table in front of me.

"10 bucks saying that's L." Jewls teased confidently before I snorted and reached for my phone. Raising my brows, I smirked and waved my screen at her.

"I'll be taking that 10 bucks, thanks Jewel." I chuckled before swiping the answer button and bringing the phone to my ear.

"Yeobosaeyo? Sungyeol Oppa?" I said.

"It's me." The voice on the other side said as my brows furrowed.

"Did you get the money?" L teased before I finally understood and let out a loud laugh, causing Jewls to shoot me a glance.

"It's L isn't it? That's cheating!" Jewls exclaimed loudly before a chuckle was heard on the other end. 

"Why are you up so early?" I steered the conversation away, noticing that it was only 6AM.

"Ah we're heading to a schedule, so I decided to check in on you." He replied before I nodded, even though he couldn't see it.

"Girls we're starting in 10 minutes." Manager oppa said as we acknowledged it.

"Mian, but I have to go and prepare now." I said disappointedly.

"I know. Go on, do well for filming and watch yourself." He sighed before warning since he wasn't happy about it being a y concept which involved male backup dancers. I chuckled before bidding him goodbye and hanging up.

The girls and I got changed into our first outfit which was a white ensemble. We were only wearing a white see-through, long sleeve chiffon blouse which designs varied among us over our white bra/bralette and white long pants, finished with white high heels.

"I feel so ." Jihyun whispered to me and I nodded in agreement since our bras could be seen through the very translucent white chiffon blouse, but it was part of the y concept and we had to go with it. We left the dressing room and made our way to the main set in the middle where it looked like an empty hall with windows at the side. We met up with the director who said we would be doing the dance version first. We walked onto the set where chairs were set up and carefully climbed up onto it before squatting on it while our male dance partners sat on the chair behind ours.

"Alright Standby, Music cue...and action!" 

After taking it numerous times with different angles and zoom ins, which were alittle uncomfortable since most of the zoom ins were on our butts and legs, which took a few hours since we had to dance in synch without any errors, we were beginning the scenes with Baek Seungheon, who had changed into a white button up blouse and black dress pants. 

(Please note that I'm going to let Jiyeon act Jei's scenes in the MV while Jenny plays Linzy's scenes although their singing parts are different)

Jenny unnie had changed into a white lace dress for her scene with Seungheon and the director told them to sit comfortably on the couch in the set before getting Seungheon to put his arm around Jenny while she moved closer to his chest, snuggled up against him with her head on his shoulder while hiding her face in the crook of his neck and her hand resting on his chest.

The girls and I stood at the side and watched, trying to not grin or chuckle as we could imagine Jenny unnie being nervous and shy. The director shot the two of them before doing some close-ups and then concluded their scenes and it was now mine. I had changed into a short black lace-designed dress and black heels. I walked into another set for this scene where a red leather couch was also set up in the middle of a room with dark blue walls and frames hung on the wall.

I bowed to Seungheon before we listened to the director’s instruction. Like Jenny unnie's scene, we had to cuddle on the couch as well and act like a couple. We nodded and got into position. Seungheon placed his arms around me while I sat next to him, my body against his and looked at him. The camera's started rolling and we began our scene.

We both made eye contact as I raised my hand and carrassed his cheek gently before we smiled at each other. He then lifted my chin with his thumb and forefinger as I raised my head to look at him. 

"Cut! Very good, we'll just film that in different angles now." The director said as we pulled apart and nodded and repeated the same actions.

The next shot was us sitting apart from each other, with each of us on either ends of the couch as if we had a quarrel. It was filmed in one take before moving onto the next scene of us fighting. We stood face to face, well I had to look up at him since he was a head taller than me. 

The director shouted action and we begin to have a fight. Seungheon started shouting at me and pushing me back by the shoulders while I retorted back and he then grabbed me by the shoulders tightly before shaking me in anger, my body shaking back and forth while my hair swayed as I looked up at him with an upset expression. He then finally let go of my shoulders before walking away angrily while I stood there, raking my fingers through my hair tiredly before staring into the camera with teary eyes. I then walked over to the dressing table where an oval mirror was and picked up a red lipstick, gently putting it on my lips. A cut was shouted before Seungheon came over and did the same, putting the lipstick on his lips as well.

"And cut! Well done you two!" The director praised as Seungheon quickly made his way back to me.

"Sorry about that, gwenchanayo?" Seungheon asked me, probably referring to him grabbing my shoulders. 

"Ah ye, nan gwenchanayo. Don't worry about it." I smiled and reassured him as I gently rubbed my shoulders. We were given a break while the rest of the girls shot their solo one. I nodded and moved back to the dressing room to get changed to another outfit, a red maxi dress with a side leg split this time. I got my make up touched up before thanking the stylist and walking out. I walked over to the snack table before noticing Seungheon there as well. 

"Coffee or tea?" He asked as he pointed to the two different packets.

"Mm hot choco?" I asked before pointing to the other one. He smiled and picked it up before making a cup for me and hot coffee for himself. I took the cup from him before thanking him with a smile and walked over to one of the chairs at the back of the studio to watch the rest, with him tagging along. I shot him a glance before looking back to the set where Jewls was currently filming her rap scenes. I took a small sip of the hot beverage as the hot liquid slid down my throat and the warmth spread through my body, making a sigh escape my lips.

"I'm really sorry for just now." I heard him speak up beside me before turning to look at him.

"I already said I'm alright. Stop worrying." I chuckle and grinned, who could blame him? "Besides I think it was better that way since it was more realistic." I added on as he nodded and smiled.

We ended up talking a little before a bunch of voices were heard. We turned around to see Infinite oppas entering the studio.

"Oh?" I said surprised at their appearance as they bowed quietly to the staff they passed by before making their way over to where I was with Seungheon. 

"Oh? Seungheon-ah? So good to see you again." Woohyun said as he hi-fived with Seungheon before giving him a brief hug and so did Sungyeol. "What are you doing here?" Sungyeol asked.

"Ah I'm acting as the male lead in the music video." He answered them before bowing at the other members.

"Annyeong." L smiled as I returned the gesture and stood next to me, an arm casually slung around my shoulder. 

"Oh? And who's the female lead?" Woohyun asked before Jenny unnie raised her hand while making her way to us. 

"Me and Jiyeon." She said and I waved my hand when she said my name with an awkward grin as I could feel Myungsoo's eyes on me, internally shrinking.

"Ah, who's who then?" Sunggyu asked Jenny who told the rest about our roles while I stood there, making sure I didn't look up to meet L's gaze. I saw Sungyeol nudging Myungsoo in the side, probably telling him to cut it out. 

"Jiyeon-sshi, it's your scene." A staff came over and I let out a silent sigh of relief before patting L's hand and scrambling off onto set where I was told to lie down on a couch with my legs on top of a leg rest while a stylist came over to pull the ends of my dress aside so that my thighs were exposed.

No one's POV:

L narrowed his eyes at the top of his girlfriend's head when he was informed of her role-the ex-girlfriend. 'Fine at least she's the ex, who the guy can't seem to get over!' He reminded himself mentally before his eyes moved over to the guy who was the male lead, friend of both Sungyeol and Woohyun. He squinted his eyes at Seungheon before shaking his head and chiding himself for being so insecure, telling himself to have more faith in his girlfriend.

The Infinite boys stood along the sidelines as they watched Jiyeon film her solo scene which was a little risqué, making L slightly uncomfortable that s were watching his girlfriend film such a scene. Jiyeon’s legs were exposed due to the high slit in the dress she was donned in and was tilted at an angle while she looked up at the camera with a sultry look and rested her fingertips against her cheek.

“Cut! Perfect Jiyeon-sshi, we’ll shoot Jira-sshi’s scene next!” The director yelled as Jiyeon bowed to the staff before exiting the set and over to the boys. “How was I?” She asked, a mixture of embarrassment and nervousness.

“It was so good, I think you seduced me.” Woohyun joked and grabbed his chest and pretended to faint while Jiyeon relaxed and laughed. L shot a glare at his Hyung who chuckled nervously and backed down from the cold city boy’s glare.

“Boys, we need to be on our way now.” Infinite’s manager came in to get the boys back into the van so they could head on to their next schedule. The boys made disgruntled noises of disapproval, saying they wanted to stay longer and get a sneak peek at Jenie’s new music video but a glare from their manager shut them off and they hurried along back to their van, but not before bidding the girls goodbye as well as Seungheon and the filming staff.

“Do well in filming kay? Text me later.” L said as he rubbed Jiyeon’s shoulder gently while the girl nodded with a smile.

“Ne, stay warm arasseo? Annyeong.” Jiyeon said and waved her boyfriend goodbye as he pressed his lips against her forehead briefly before pulling away and jogging off after his other members.

“Text me later.” Jewls mimicked L after he had left as she walked past Jiyeon who let out a loud laugh at her impression of her boyfriend before slapping Jewls’ arm playfully.

“Oh shut up.”

The rest of the day went on with the girls filming their music video till early dawn before they returned back to their dorms to rest.

Annyeong my lovely readers, sorry for the uber long wait for this chapter hehe. And it seems to me like ya'll are getting quite bored of my story since I don't get comments anymore :') Do tell me if you think it is indeed getting draggy and boring since all I do is update on their schedules nowadays. And i am trying to speed up so that the story timeline matches the current timeline so please bear with me as I plan to zoooooooom through the months alright? And Happy Lunar New Year to you all, Gong Xi Fa Cai, Hong Bao na lai. If you can't give me red packets, at least give me some comments keke. 

By the way, INFINITE EFFECT in Singapore was so good I'm still suffering from post-concert depression till this day and I predict it will go on forever :') I was in CAT 1 but the last row, but was still considered quite close I guess. It was so surreal seeing them in person and live. Myungsoo was bae and slaying. The others were amazing as well and it was such a great experience. I hope they come again next time and real soon cause I can't wait to see them again <3
