Jiyeon POV: 

It was a few days after Myungsoo's birthday and we were also preparing for the LA KPOP Festival, practicing for our performance. We had completed the practice and was about to head home to rest when we bumped into INFINITE. "Oh oppas, annyeong." I greeted them along with my members. "Oh hey girls." They greeted back. I looked around the group and realised that someone was missing, and before I could speak up, Jira did. "Oh where's L Oppa?" She asked, sounding worried. "Ah Myungsoo's kinda sick so he stayed back to rest." Sungyeol explained as the corners of my lips curled down, forming a small frown. ' I wonder if he's okay, Aish this guy is always getting sick.' I cursed mentally and was about to ask when Jira beat me to it, again. "Omo! Is he okay? How is he? Is it serious?" she asked, questions spilling out like bullets."Relax Jira, he's fine, just alittle cold and fever, but the doctor said he'll be fine with a few days of rest." Sunggyu calmed the anxious girl down as she sighed in relief and nodded.

"Unnie, how about we go visit L Oppa?" Jira suggested and looked at me. I looked at the rest and they shrugged, nodding. I sighed and looked at the time, it was late afternoon, it should be fine. I nodded and Jira smiled. "Well we'll be back later tonight. Please take care of him for us." Sungkyu oppa said as Jira nodded but I could have sworn he was looking at me and directing it at me. 

"Unnie maybe we should buy something for L Oppa?" Jira said as we were on the way there."Maybe some fruits?" She suggested. We stopped at a fruit store and bought a fruit basket for Myungsoo and continued on our way. We arrived at INFINITE's dorm where I unlocked their door since Sungkyu oppa had given it to me only. We went in quietly and took off our shoes before stepping in. I closed and locked the door behind us. As I've been here before, I knew where Myungsoo's room was which he shared with Sunggyu and Sungyeol. I knocked on the door softly, "Myungsoo-ah?" I called out and heard someone cough before answering. "Ne? Hyung-" He was about to say but kept quiet as he looked surprised when we walked in. I entered last.

"Oh? What are you guys doing here?" He asked trying to get up, I was about to stop him when Jira did instead. "Aniyo,Oppa just lie down and rest. Look! we got you a fruit basket." She said and placed it on the tableside as he smiled. "Gomawo." He thanked us, his voice alittle hoarse. He then looked at me as I bit my lips and looked away. "Mm have you eaten?" I asked softly and looked at him. He shook his head. 'Sigh, I knew it.' I said in my head. "I'll go make you something to eat." I said and was about to walk out of the room when he said, "Gomawo, Jiyeon-ah."

I was in the kitchen cooking porridge and also some ramen which I found in their cupboard 'Hehehe' for the other members since they must be hungry after practicising. I stirred the porridge and tried it before nodding. 'Heh, I'm actually not a bad cook.' I smiled to myself and poured all the food into separate bowls. "I knew I smelt food, yummz" I heard Jihyun and chuckled. "Its not alot, thats all I could find in their food stock. Call the rest out please." I told her and set the utensils down. "L-sunbae too?" She asked while eyeing the bowl of porridge in my hands. "Well uh, I think it'd be better if he had it in bed." I said and bit my lips. She wiggled her eyebrows at me and chuckled before nodding. I shook my head and the girls began piling out of their room. "Gomawo! Jalmogetsimnida!" they cheered and tucked in while I carried the bowl of warm porridge into the room. Knocking before entering.

"Oh? Jiyeon-ah." He said when I entered and closed the door with my foot. I set the bowl on the table beside his bed as he tried to sit up. I helped him and adjusted his pillow so he would be leaning against it. "Gomawo." He thanked me and smiled. I nodded and passed him the bowl of porridge but he just shook his head. "I'm not really hungry right now." He said and I sighed. "You have to eat to get better you know. If you keep starving yourself, you won't recover. Think of the fans." I reasoned with him. He then thought about it and sighed but when I gave him the bowl again he shook his head again. "Wae? You don't want it?" I asked alittle disappointed. He shook his head still. "Then?" I asked. He then pointed at his mouth. My brows furrowed when it finally registered in my head. 'He wants me to feed him?! W-what?' I thought and he chuckled. "Shouldn't you feed a sick person?" He said and pouted. I blushed and scolded myself. "Y-yah eat it yourself. You're big enough already." I retorted. But he just kept whining until I gave up. I scooped up some porridge and blew on it, cooling it down before placing it in front of his mouth as he ate it and smiled victoriously like a kid. I couldn't help but chuckle softly.

I continued feeding him until the porridge finished and stood up to leave when he pulled onto my wrist and pulled me down onto the bed. My back hit a hard surface which I presumed it was his chest. "M-myungsoo? L-let go." I whispered. I felt him shake his head, wrapping his arms around me and I bit on my lips. "Jiyeon-ah, I missed you. I missed us. You here taking care of me while I'm sick just reminded me of that time when I got sick too and you took care of me as well. I missed being able to hug you, the smell of your hair, being able to touch you and also kiss you. And most of all, I miss being able to call you 'Mine' . These few weeks have been torture, not being able to be with you even though you were so near and seeing you laugh with other guys just make me want to rip their mouths out." He huffed and I couldn't help but chuckle softly at that. He then tightened his grip on me and hid his face in the crook of my neck. I stiffened alittle as he breathed in and out, his warm breath on my neck. Then there was a moment of silent, then I heard soft snores and chuckled to myself. 'Aish this guy felt alseep. Must have been tired.' I thought and shook my head as I carefully lay him back on the bed, not wanting to wake him and adjusted the pillow, covering him with the pillow. I was about to step out when I heard a mumble. "S...sarang..hae.." I smiled to myself and left the room.

"Jiyeon-ah, we'll be heading up first?" Jenny unnie asked. "Oh ne sure, I'll be up soon, after I clear up and then check up on Myungsoo again." I said as she nodded and got the girls to follow her upstairs. The rest of the oppas weren't home yet so I decided to stay alittle longer until they came back. I prepared a basin of cold water and a piece of cloth and brought it to his room. He was still sound asleep. I placed the back of my palm on his forehead and felt that it was still hot so I wet the cloth and placed it on his forehead. His eyebrows furrowed but then relaxed again. I sighed.

"Tell me why, even though you hurt me, I still want to forgive you? Why even when I pushed you away, you're still always lingering around me? Why when I see you with other girls, I still get so jealous? Why I just want to be in your arms and have you always around me? Why even through everything, I still love you and want you back? Tell me why?" I whispered while my fingers fiddled with his hair and trailed around his face. I sighed.

"Jiyeon-ah." I felt someone call me and shake me up. I groaned and woke up, my body aching. I looked at who it was, "Oh Sungkyu oppa?" I said and looked around grogily. 'I must have fallen asleep.' I thought and looked at the sleeping Myungsoo infront of me and sighed in relief. "Mianhae for making you wait for us.You should go back and take a rest, we'll take care fo him." He whispered as I nodded and bowed to him before giving Myungsoo one last look and leaving.

The next day....

I woke up, my body still aching alittle but it was still managable. "Morning~" I heard someone chirp, as usual, Jewls was sipping on her coffee on the kitchen counter. "Hey." I answered groggily, ruffling my bed hair after washing up. "Sooooo what happened with you and L yesterday?" She asked excitedly. I scoffed, "What do you mean what happened? Nothing happened." I answered unaffected and made myself a cup of hot chocolate. "Pffft don't give me that, I'm not buying it." She glared at me and folded her arms in front of her chest. "Nothing went on Jewls. I was just looking after a sick friend thats all." I answered and made my way to the living room. " Uh-huh and that 'Friend' is apprently your so called 'EX' " She said, sitting next to me, eyeing me. I sighed and shook my head. "Come on! I'm sure something happened. Positive." She said confidently. I looked down then back at her, "W-well, he kinda confessed to me again?" I said softly.

"HE WHAAAAAT?!" She screeched and I covered her big mouth. "Aish keep it down woman, are you trying to tell the whole world?!" I hissed and she giggled. "Oopsies~" . I rolled my eyes at her. "Then what did you say?" She asked, now very interested. "Nothing." I said nonchalantly. She raised an eye brow at me. "Nothing?" She repeated and I nodded. Then she smacked my head. "OW! What was that for?!" I whined and rubbed my head. "For being so dumb." She snorted. "Bwo?!" I glared at her.

She sighed and looked me in the eye. "Look Lex, I know he lied and made you cry and all, but I can tell that he is very serious about you. And I can also tell that you still have feelings for him. I also see how happy he makes you. People make mistakes, nobody's perfect. I know you're afraid, but sometimes, you gotta take that risk. People always say, you won't realise the importance of someone until that person is really gone. I don't want you to regret this. Why not just give him another chance?" She told me as I took in all her words and blinked. Then memories of when me and Myungsoo were together replayed in my head, how much fun I had, how happy I was, how much love I had for him and slowly, tears streamed down my face. Jewls gave me a gentle smile. "I know sweetie, I know. Now, do you realise it?" She asked me. I nodded slowly and she smiled, pulling me into a hug.

I had showered and changed into some comfortable clothes:shorts and a oversized shirt. I put on my shoes and waited for the other members before leaving to go to the dance studio. We arrived and got down to business, practicing our dance till they were spot on and perfect. We were taking a break, all of us on the floor, resting and drinking water when the door opened, revealing INFINITE. We stood up and greeted them. "Hey girls, how is practice?" Woohyun opp asked. "Its going good sunbae." Jihyun answered as they nodded, I scanned the group and my eyes landed on a familiar pair who was looking back at me. I felt someone nudge me and I turned my head and saw Jewls smiling and urging me with her eyes. I blushed and nudged her back. "We were about to go grab some lunch, you guys wanna come along?" Hoya oppa asked. "Ne!" Jira replied excitedly and the rest of us just followed. 

"Hey you guys go on first, I uh have something to do. I'll catch up later." I told the rest and they nodded, leaving me behind. Once they left, I sighed and sat down on the floor of the dance room. I was drinking some water when the door opened and my eyes widened. I stood up, "W-what are you still doing here?" I asked him. Myungsoo stood at the door, looking at me curiously. "Are you okay? You seem to be alittle bothered." He said as he made his way towards me. "A-ani, nan gwenchana. Just alittle tired I guess." I said and combed a hand through my hair. "Are you sure?" He said and bent down to meet my eyes as I looked away flustered. He chuckled and ruffled my hair. "Arasso, come on lets go. The rest will be waiting." He said and turned around , heading towards the door. 'This is my only chance.' I thought to myself and wrapped my hands around his waist. I think he was surprised because I felt his body stiffen from my touch. "M-myungsoo, I missed you too." I  whispered as my cheek was pressed to his back. I closed my eyes and favoured this moment. Tears slipped out of my eyes and stained his shirt. Then I felt his hand take hold of my hands and unlatch them from his waist, as he turned around to face me, face stained with tears as well. I smiled up at him as his arms wrapped around my waist instantly, crushing me against his body but I didn't mind, in fact I really liked it. My hands went around his neck, my face hiding in the crook of his neck while he hid his face in my hair. "Jiyeon-ah, Jiyeon-ah." He kept repeating my name as he held me tight. I smiled. We then pulled away and looked at each other's eyes. Then he leaned forward, his face inching closer to mine as I slowly closed my eyes, waiting for his lips.

But it didn't come. I opened my eyes and saw him smirking at me. "Were you expecting a kiss from me?" He said mischieviously. I blushed. "N-no." I retorted. 'Aish that was embarrassing!' I scolded myself mentally. I pouted and pulled away from him but he just smiled and held me in place. "Y-yah let go." I whined and tried to move out of his embrace when he suddenly pulled me closed and kissed me. My eyes widened but I slowly closed my eyes and responded to the kiss. I could feel him smiling through the kiss. We finally pulled away for air and he smiled at me while I pouted, still upset about his trick. He ruffled my hair and pecked my lips once more. "so does this mean we're back together again?" He asked as I nodded shyly. He grinned and hugged me again. "Yknow, I actually heard you that night in my room." He said and I gasped. "B-but I thought you were alseep?" I protested. "I'm a great actor you know." He boasted and I laughed, hitting his arm playfully. He tightened the hug and snuggled into my neck and sighed. "I missed this." He mummured and I smiled. He then pulled away and stared at me. "Saranghae Jiyeon-ah, and I promise not to hurt you again." He told me and held out his pinky which I laughed in return and hooked my pinky to his as well. "Nado, Saranghae Myungsoo." I said. "Yah, what happened to oppa?" He asked. I laughed and shook my head. "Ne Oppa. But lets keep this relationship a secret first from the rest okay? Lets surprise them." I told him. He pouted but gave in eventually.

I smiled, it feels great to be back in his arms. 'Oh god tell me why I'm in love with this guy.' I laughed.
