Lyn sits on the empty bench. Kyungsoo stands next to her looking at the three girls who are still standing not far from them. He needs to explain it to them. “Lyn, please wait here for a while. I’ll be back soon.” He says to her. Lyn just nods. He then runs to the girls. “Excuse me girls, can I talk to you guys for a while?” He asks. They are surprised to see Kyungsoo standing in front of them. They were too focused on Lyn earlier; they didn’t get to properly see Kyungsoo. They are again amazed by how good he looks in front of their eyes. “Yes, of course D.O. ssi.” They are calling him by his stage name. They look so happy. “I just want to say thanks for being worried about my wife. She is still confused. It is not even a day she woke up. I didn’t get to update about her. Please keep it to yourself first. I hope you can understand. I will make a formal announcement soon.” He explains. “Yes, sure D.O. ssi. Don’t worry. We promise that we won’t tell anyone about this. We’re happy to see her. We never met her before. This is our first meeting with her. She really is a princess. She is beautiful and kind. We are touched at how polite she was talking with us earlier. She is just like how we heard people are talking about her. She is very nice with strangers. You’re lucky to have her D.O. ssi. Please make her happy.” One of the girls says to him. Kyungsoo is smiling. “Yeah, I agree. I am very lucky to be her husband. I won’t deny that fact.” He replies shortly. One of the girls hesitantly wants to say something. Kyungsoo lifts his eyebrows. “D.O. ssi, from what I saw earlier, her face is flawless. Is that really her bareface?” She asks. Kyungsoo nods. “Yeah, she rarely wears make up. Even if she does, she only wears it thinly. Make up is not really her thing.” He answers. “Maybe one day when I get the chance to see her again, I can ask about her skincare routines.” She comments on that. “Yeah, I think it is better for you to ask her directly. I am afraid I will share the wrong information. Okay girls, I leave first. I don’t want my wife to wait longer. Take care.” He says before bidding goodbye.

The beautiful night sky catches Lyn’s attention. She is all smiling looking at the millions stars decorating the dark sky. ‘Grandma, grandpa, are you up there looking at me right now?” She asks inside her heart. The stars, they all look so beautiful. She keeps on looking up until she realizes someone is touching her hand. She looks at a little boy in front of her who is mumbling ‘omma’. He is crying. Lyn looks around but no one seems to be looking for this little one. He cries harder. She then pats his back and carries him in her arms trying to calm him down. Simultaneously, she looks around looking for the possible mother of this boy. She unknowingly leaves the bench as she moves forward looking for the mother. “Where is your omma little boy?” She asks looking at the smiling boy who most probably is two years old. He has stopped crying. He is now playing with her shawl. Suddenly a woman comes closer. She looks worried. “OMG! Thank you so much. I have been looking for him everywhere. I was talking on the phone. I didn’t realize that he left my side. Thank you for keeping him with you young lady.” She says looking at Lyn. She looks surprised. “Lyn ssi? Are you Lyn ssi?” She asks. Lyn is surprised but she just nods. “Thank God. You’re awake now. OMG! Our prayers have been answered. I am so happy to see you here. You’re alone?” She asks her. Lyn shakes her head. “No, I am not alone. May I know how did you know about my condition? And how do you know me?” Lyn asks her. She is curious. She is about to answer when Kyungsoo approaches them.

“Sweetheart, what are you doing here? I was looking for you. Is everything okay?” Kyungsoo asks looking at his wife and the unfamiliar face who is carrying a little boy. The mother of the little boy then explains to Kyungsoo. “Kyungsoo ssi, hello. Lyn ssi was looking for me. My boy, he got lost. Thanks to Lyn ssi, I got him back. Can I take a picture with you Lyn ssi? I am a fan of yours actually. I can’t believe that I got to see you here. I was visiting a friend of mine. She got admitted to this hospital too.” Lyn doesn’t know what to respond. She is so unfamiliar with the word ‘fan’. She just nods. “Yeah, sure.” She replies giving a green light for them to take a picture together. Kyungsoo offers to help them with the picture. “Thank you so much Kyungsoo ssi.” She says to him. “You’re welcome but please do not share the picture with anyone for now. And please keep this meeting only between us up until I announce about my wife’s condition officially. I hope you can understand.” Kyungsoo says to her in front of his wife. Lyn is confused. “Yeah, of course I can do that D.O. ssi. Thanks again Lyn ssi. I’ll go first. My husband is waiting for us in the car. I hope I can see you again. I am so happy to see you are all fine right now.” She leaves with her son a minute later. Lyn looks at Kyungsoo asking for an explanation. He ignores it. He then holds her hand and leads her to the empty bench next to a tree.

“Come let’s have a seat first. I will explain to you later one by one but now, you need to finish this porridge. It is not good to keep your stomach unfilled. Here I will feed you.” Kyungsoo opens the lid of the porridge’s bowl carefully. But Lyn takes it away from him a second later. She refuses to be fed as she can do it herself. Lyn quietly finishes the porridge while looking at the wide night sky. She doesn’t want to look at her front because when she does so, she only realizes that people are still looking at her weirdly. Or maybe she is just thinking too much. It is not that they bring harm to her but after that long sleep, this world seems unfamiliar to her. She really needs to get herself together. And she really needs to know what is going on. She knows that there a lot of things happened while she was ‘sleeping’. Kyungsoo doesn’t say anything. He wants Lyn to finish her food comfortably. It is not that he doesn’t realize how people are looking at them. Some even take a picture of them or to be exact, her pictures. He is aware that she is not aware of what is going on. He takes a glance at her. Even in this situation, she still looks calm as if nothing is happening right now. He wants to tell her everything. He is waiting for the right time.

Lyn suddenly gets up. She is about to throw the empty bowl when she accidentally sees a garden in front of her. She starts walking towards the garden after throwing it away without thinking much. It feels like something is pulling her to the garden. She unknowingly leaves Kyungsoo behind and goes to the beautiful garden. Kyungsoo is surprised when he sees Lyn is going somewhere else without him. He runs to her. He grabs her hand. “Where are you going sweetheart? Are you okay?” He asks holding both of her hands. Lyn looks at him with her big round eyes out of surprise. “Oh, that garden, it looks interesting. It somehow looks very familiar. I want to go there. Is it a restricted area? We can’t go there?” She asks him waiting for an explanation. She looks so innocent. She looks like a little kid asking for her parents’ permission to play. Kyungsoo touches her cheek. He fixes the shawl which is already perfectly placed covering her hair. “No, sweetheart. We can go there. It is just that please don’t go anywhere without me. I am worried. Let’s go. Let me accompany you.” He holds her right hand tight leading the way to the garden she is talking about. Actually it is his first time too. He has never been there. He doesn’t even know this mini garden exists here in the hospital.

“OMG! This is so beautiful. It looks kind of similar with the garden that I went to with my grandparents. Look at those roses. They are so colourful. Look at the sunflowers. Look right there. The even have the daisies.” Lyn says excitedly pointing at the flowers showing them to Kyungsoo. He is confused at the statement she just made because as far as he knows, it has been more than 15 years since both of her grandparents passed away. She even looked for them when she woke up earlier. It seems like something happened to her while she was unconscious. He then goes to Lyn who smells the pink rose. Lyn’s left hand is grabbed by him. “Sweetheart, may I know what actually happened when you were in coma? And why did you look for them when you were conscious?”He finally asks her that question. Lyn looks at him. “Are you sure you want to know about it Kyungsoo ssi?” She asks making sure. He nods right away and pulls her to the empty bench provided at the garden. They take a seat there. “Yes, sweetheart. I really want to know.” He convinces her. “You might find it disturbing and impossible. I am afraid you can’t accept it Kyungsoo ssi.” She says to him. He holds her right hand tight. He looks deep into her eyes. “No, trust me Love. I will accept everything well. You can share it with me.” He replies to her. She looks at him. Sincerity fills the two beautiful eyes. The two big eyes that will disappear when he smiles wide are looking at her.
