Kyungsoo is in the car, on his way to the next filming set. He is revising the next scenes’ scenarios while listening to some music. It’s one of his ways to get into the mood. He finishes reading it after focusing on it for about 15 minutes. He then closes his eyes, resting. His tight schedule is definitely normal for him but at times like this, it is absolutely exhausting. It’s been 2 months since the last time he saw his wife. That one last time he saw her was during the meeting EXO had before he started filming for the movie. She was responsible to lead the meeting as the representatives came from the US and none of them spoke Korean.

With her calm personality, she looked so professional handling the meeting by herself. She knew what to do and what to expect. She also knew how to tackle some tricky questions asked by them. She also gave EXO members space to ask any related questions regarding the plan and their opinions were heard. Kyungsoo was definitely amazed to see that part of her and proud of her at the same time. The meeting ended successfully. It was actually for a radio show in New York which will be scheduled a day after they wrap up their tour in the US. Normally they only do conference meeting via Skype but this time, their representatives came to Korea themselves. It just showed how serious they were with the invitation. There were actually a lot more offers came for EXO but because of the tight schedule, they could only accept few of them. Mr Michael, the lead representative from the US was also impressed with the capability she had.

After spending an hour and a half in the meeting room, everybody started to leave one by one. Lyn was still on her seat assembling her paper works and her files. She walked to the door with Mr Noh when Mr Michael suddenly stopped her by grabbing her covered wrist. She glared at the unprofessional act by that guy. She pulled her hand right away. “What’s wrong Mr Michael?” Mr Noh asked looking at situation. He realised that Mr Michael seemed to be interested in Lyn by the way he looked at her during the meeting. “Oh, I just want to talk with Miss Lyn for a while.” He answered. Mr Noh looked at Lyn, she didn’t seem to feel comfortable. “I’ll be outside. Don’t worry. I’ll keep my eye on him. Just talk to him.” Mr Noh whispered to Lyn and nodded to Mr Michael before leaving them in the room but he made sure the door was left open.

Lyn stared at Mr Michael. He smiled at her trying to flirt. “Ok, Mr Michael, you have two minutes to speak. Shoot.” Lyn didn’t want to waste her time on useless things like this. “What is the rush sweetie?” He said trying to grab her hand. “Lyn. My name is Lyn. Call me with that name. And please do not touch me. I am not a pet; I don’t need people to pat me.” She definitely hated it when people trying to touch her without any reasons. “I am so sorry about that. I don’t have any ill intention towards you. I just want to get to know you better. Shall we have a dinner together tonight? Just you and me. Please. I know a famous hotel that serves wonderful foods.” He finally said it. Lyn looked at the hopeful Mr Michael. “I am sorry but I’ll have to turn down your offer. Please excuse me.” Lyn tried to leave but was stopped by him. “But why? A dinner won’t harm anyone.” He didn’t give up.

Lyn sighed. “Just for your information, I don’t go out with our clients. Plus I believe all the discussions are done. I don’t think there is something else that we need to talk about. And please, don’t mix personal and professional things together. Enjoy your stay here in Korea.” She walked to the door. “Do you want me to cancel the offer? You don’t want to be blamed for that.” He bravely threatened her. It was his final resort. Lyn stopped by the door and walked close to him. She smiled. “Good try, Mr Michael. Before you do that, I just want you to know that I personally know the head executive of your radio show who sent you here, Miss Suzy. She happened to call me earlier today. She told me that I can always contact her if there is anything bad happen cause by your team. So imagine if I send her this audio recording, what would she do? And the most important thing, what will happen to you? I believe she won’t ignore this case. Do you want me to do that Mr Michael?”

Lyn showed him the ongoing recording. Lyn had been secretly recording their conversation from the very beginning. Safety comes first, she thought. He looked surprised. The previously arrogant Mr Michael now looked so pale. “I am so sorry Miss Lyn. Please don’t do that. I don’t want to get fired. I promise that I won’t cause any problems. I am so sorry for everything that I carelessly did earlier. Please. Don’t tell her anything about my stupid action. This is a very important project for my team. Please. I beg you. Don’t tell her anything. I regret what I’ve done.” Mr Michael sincerely regretted what he did to Lyn. He didn’t know that Lyn was not like a typical girl he normally met. “As long as you don’t make any scenes, I will keep the recording to myself. You sure know what I am capable of, don’t you? But I will let you go now. Just promise me that you will never ever repeat whatever you’ve done to me. You won’t do it to me again and not to other girls. Promise me that. Please learn how to respect girls. You definitely don’t want the same thing to happen to your mom and sisters, right?” Lyn made sure he was aware that what he did was not okay. It was rude. “Yes. I promise. I am so sorry for being rude. Thank you so much for your advice. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much for letting me go this time. I promise that I won’t repeat it again.” He then left.

Kyungsoo who had been listening to the whole conversation felt so amazed and surprised to see another new side of her. She might look soft and delicate but she was strict and firm when she had to. And no one could stop her decisions. Mr Noh and Suho felt the same way too. The three of them were peeking behind the door. Mr Noh patted Kyungsoo’s back and smiled. Suho whispered to him. “Don’t you think you’re lucky to have Lyn as your wife? She sure knows how to take good care of herself and keep her away from any flirty men. I am so jealous of you.” Kyungsoo looked at both of his manager and leader. He was left alone without them waiting for his unneeded answer.

Lyn was about to close the meeting’s room door when she saw her husband was standing there by himself. She looked around and she didn’t see anybody else. She was surprised because she obviously saw Mr Noh and Suho left the area after Mr Michael left. Did Kyungsoo wait for her too? She asked to herself. So she approached him carefully. “Are you waiting for me? Do you have anything to discuss, Kyungsoo ssi?” She asked looking at her husband who was staring at her. “Why did you reject his offer?” Oh, he obviously overheard the conversation she had with Mr Michael. She said that in her heart. “I am not interested with the offer. The best thing is to reject it. Plus why should I have a dinner with a stranger? I don’t know him. So obviously a dinner is not needed.” She answered. “What if because of your action, we lost the golden offer?” He asked another question.
