Lyn is on her way to the airport for CBX’s (ChenBaekXi) fan meeting in Canada. Their flight is in four hours but the team has decided to come earlier to make sure everything is okay and there is no inevitable problem while checking in. Yeah, CBX has finally debuted in Canada with their 3rd sub unit album. This time they make it in three different languages. The album is recorded in Korean, Japanese and English. The supports and the news coverage of them coming to Canada are beyond what they have expected. The team also prepare a lot for the promotion for the album this time. After months of strict intensive English studies, CBX are now able to speak and understand English well. Lyn is touched by the endless effort they made and she is super proud of them. Canadian ExoLs are excited to see them face to face and have a long conversation with them. CBX are looking forward to that too.

Lyn is in the car driven by Seungjae and Jeong Min is sitting next to him. Lyn’s two assistants are going to follow her to Canada. Mr Noh instructed them to join the business trip this time. Jae RIn unnie will go to the airport by herself and they have promised to meet there. Their casual conversation is disturbed by a call from Lyn’s phone. She takes her phone out of her bag pack and she is surprised to receive a call from her brother in law at this hour. “It’s a call from Seungsoo oppa.” Lyn informs the two assistants. Seung Jae gestures Jeong Min to lower the volume of the radio. “Hello oppa! What’s up?” Lyn asks after greeting him. “Lyn, can you come to our parents’ house right now?” Seungsoo says to Lyn with a very serious tone. She is curious to know what is going on. “What’s wrong oppa? What happened? Omeonim, is she okay? Abeonim, is there something wrong with him? You oppa, are you okay?” Lyn asks repeatedly. She starts to think about the worst situation. She is panicking. “Just come here. Right now. Please. I’ll wait for you.” Seungsoo says to her before ending the call. He sounds so different. She never heard that tone from him. ‘There must be something wrong.’ “Oppa, can we go to Kyungsoo ssi’s parents’ house right now? Seungsoo oppa asks me to go there as soon as possible. I am afraid something bad happened to them. I am so worried right now. Please bring me there, oppa.” Lyn begs them to do as she wants at that very moment. “Okay, I’ll bring you there. Stay calm, Lyn. Nothing happened to them. Don’t think nonsense. We’ll be there in 10 minutes.” Seungjae says to her while making a U turn. The destination has changed.

“Jae Rin ssi, yes, it’s me Jeongmin. I just want to inform you that we are on our way to Kyungsoo ssi’s parents. Lyn just received a call from her brother in law asking her to come right away. We don’t know what is going on. I will update you later. Yeah, don’t worry. We’ll take good care of her. I know, we’ll be there before our flight.” Jeongmin ends his call with Jae Rin. He looks at the back. Lyn looks so worried. “Don’t worry; everything is going to be just fine. Okay? Don’t cry. We will bring you to them. Please just wait for a while.” Jeongmin says to her. He never sees that side of Lyn. She is normally very calm. He hopes that nothing happens to the Do family. He is curious. If there really is something wrong, why did he ask her to come to their home? Shouldn’t they be in the hospital right now? About 10 minutes later, they arrive at their home. Lyn rushes to the house followed by both Jeongmin and Seungjae. She rings the bell. Seungsoo opens the door. He looks so serious. “Oppa, where is omeonim? Where is abeonim? Are they okay?” She asks him right away. He doesn’t answer her. He just stares at her blankly. Seungjae looks at Jeongmin, they are confused. “She is here? Call her in.” They can hear Mrs Do’s voice. Lyn goes in right away and stops after 5 steps. She is frozen looking at the people in front of her. She now knows why Seungsoo sounded so serious earlier. Seungjae and Jeongmin go after her. They stop right behind her. They are also surprised to see a person sitting next to Kyungsoo.

“What are you doing standing right there?!” Lyn is surprised to hear a sudden mad tone from her mother in law. She looks at her and she can clearly see hatred in the eyes of someone who used to love her dearly. ‘What is actually going on? What is Ahn So Ra ssi doing here?’ The reason why all three of them to be really surprised was Ahn So Ra who is sitting right next to Kyungsoo in front of his parents. She looks at her father in law who is glaring at her. She feels like crying at that very moment for two different reasons. The first one is because her parents in law are actually fine, she is relieved and the second reason is the hatred she feels from them, she is not ready for that. She looks at her husband who is only showing a blank expression. She then looks at Ahn So Ra who is smirking at her. “Why are you looking at So Ra? You have no right to hurt this innocent girl. I am so blind. I didn’t know that you are this kind of person. I am disgusted by you.” Mrs Do says to Lyn. They don’t even ask her to sit. Lyn is still standing in front of them. “What is going on omeonim abeonim?” Lyn asks them because she is so clueless. She can’t think of anything right now. “Shut up! Don’t call my wife omeonim. Don’t call us that. You don’t deserve it. And please stop acting innocent. We already knew about the truth.” Mr Do says to Lyn. “The truth? What truth abeonim?” Lyn asks again. “I said stop calling me that. You have no rights to call me that with your mouth. The truth? Don’t you know better than us? We are so stupid to trust you all this while.” Mr Do answers her question. “Please, I don’t understand. What is actually happening right now? Kyungsoo ssi what is going on?” Lyn begs for an explanation. Mrs Do leaves her seat and stands in front of her. “Do you want me to tell you the truth?” She says to her looking straight to her eyes. Lyn nods quickly. “The truth about this marriage, the truth behind your act, the truth about you, everything, we already knew about that. You are only pretending all this while. You pretend to be happily married to my son while the fact is; you guys never live as a married couple. You guys sleep in two different bedrooms at home and you guys only pretend like a normal couple in front of us. How dare you lie to us all this while? Just because you wanted to own Kyungsoo, you asked him to leave his girlfriend that he really loves. You told me it was your first time meeting Kyungsoo on your wedding day but you lied. You actually met him before. I am so scared of you. You look so innocent but you’re the worst girl I have ever seen in my life. Tell me, is everything correct?” Mrs Do grabs Lyn’s face and shakes it demanding for a quick answer. “You have met Kyungsoo before the wedding?” She asks. Lyn nods. “Yes, but…” She asks her the next question right away. “Is it true that you actually don’t love Kyungsoo?” Lyn answers. “Yes, but I..” Mr Do stops her from making more excuses. “Shut up! Just answer our questions with a Yes or NO!” He yells at her. Lyn who is surprised start to cry.

“Stop crying. I know you’re only pretending right now. Don’t waste your tears. We won’t believe you anymore.” Mrs Do says to her. “So is it true that you’re only pretending in front of us to be Kyungsoo’s wife all this while when actually you guys are not more than housemates?” She slowly nods. “Answer me! Yes or No!” Mrs Do yells at her still grabbing her face. “Yes.” She smirks. “Is it true that you know So Ra is my son’s beloved girlfriend?” She asks the next question. It takes Lyn a longer time to answer. She looks at her husband who doesn’t seem to be affected at how his parents’ are treating his wife. “Don’t look at Kyungsoo. He won’t do as you wanted. Answer me!” Mrs Do instructs her to answer the question. “Yes, but…” Lyn tries to explain but she is again stopped. “Mrs Do, this is all misunderstanding. Lyn is not…” Jeongmin tries to interrupt. Lyn looks at him and shakes her head. “You don’t know her. That is why you can defend her right now. If you knew who she really is, you will stop working for her immediately.” Mr Do says to Jeongmin. “I must be blinded by the fact that I lost a daughter long time ago that I accepted you easily. I loved you so much. I treated you like a princess. But why did you do this to me? Why?!!!” Mrs Do says to her. “Omeonim, I never pretended to love you. I really do love you.” Lyn tries to hold Mrs Do’s hands. She pushes Lyn instead. “Don’t touch me. You’re disgusting. I regret my decisions to accept you in my life. Don’t you dare calling me with that name ever again or I’ll slap you.” She says to her looking at her with hatred in her eyes. “But omeonim..” Lyn accidentally calls her with that name and she really got slapped by Mrs Do. “I told you! Do you think I am joking right now?! I am not!” Lyn is still shocked after being slapped by the mother in law she adores so much. She wipes her lips.
