Dr Park is surprised when Nurse Kim informs her that Lyn is currently in the ambulance after being stabbed by a knife right on her left chest where the heart is. She is in a very critical situation right now. She is losing so much blood. She is really weak. The team tries their hardest to rescue her. Jae Rin just gave her a call. “OMG! Poor girl. What actually happened to her? Please cancel all my appointments today. I want to see her. Where is she brought? I will go there.” Dr Park asks her. “She will be brought to our hospital.” She answers. “Okay, I will join the other surgeons to rescue her. OMG! Please give us strength to save that girl.” Few minutes later, their department receives a call asking for extra helping hands for Lyn’s case. And they specifically ask for Dr Park to join the surgery just because Lyn is assigned under her according to the information they have in their system. And Dr Park doesn’t waste much time, she leaves to the operation theatre. She rushes there accompanied by Nurse Kim. Outside the theatre, she can see some familiar faces which means Lyn is already inside. “Dr Park, please save my wife.” Kyungsoo rushes to her. “I will try my hardest. You know what you guys should do, right? Do not stop praying for her. She needs that. I’ll go inside first. Wish us luck.” She calmly says to them. Nurse Kim bows to them before following Dr Park. Everyone rushes to the operation theatre to get ready for a major surgery. Lyn is still breathing when she is brought inside there but she looks really weak.

“Kyungsoo, where is Lyn? Where is she?” Mrs Do asks Kyungsoo who is sitting on the floor resting his head at the wall with his eyes tightly close. His tears can be clearly seen. None of them are talking since Lyn was brought to the operation theatre earlier. Seungjae and Jeongmin are sitting on the chair provided outside the operation theatre. They are crying silently. Jae Rin is standing in front of the operation theatre asking every nurses coming out from there about Lyn’s current condition. It is already 2 hours since the surgery began. And no news is shared with them. Every nurse comes out of the there looks so serious and in a rush. They ignore every question asked to them because all the seconds can’t be wasted. Kyungsoo ignores his mother’s question. He remains silent. He doesn’t feel like talking. He then stands up and leaves the area. Seungsoo follows him. “Kyungsoo? Where are you going?” He asks but he is ignored still. Kyungsoo keeps on walking. His brother then grabs his right arm stopping him. “Where are you going?” He asks again. Kyungsoo looks at his brother. He starts crying again. “Hyung, I kill her. I kill my own wife. I don’t deserve to live.” He says to him. Seungsoo is surprised to hear that from him. “What are you talking about? Do you plan to kill yourself?” He asks him. He doesn’t get any replies. “Do you think Lyn will be proud of you by doing that? Taking your own life won’t settle any problems Kyungsoo ya. Trust me, you will disappoint her. You have to be strong for her.” He says to him. “No hyung. I didn’t have any intention to kill myself. I wil never do that. She will definitely hate it if I talk about it. I am just, I don’t know. I don’t think I can live without her, hyung. I love her so much. I was so stupid for not trusting her. Why did I hurt that innocent girl? She is the girl that I met in my dream. She is my dream girl. She is the girl that I love the longest. I never love someone that much. She is the girl that makes me the happiest man on earth. Why did I waste the chance given by God? Why hyung? My jealousy killed me. My pride killed her. I am so stupid. I am the one who is supposed to be inside there, not her hyung.” He hits his face hard with his hand.

“Stop hitting yourself. Get yourself together Kyungsoo ya. She needs you. She needs all of us. She will survive this battle again. She has gone through it once; she will succeed this time too. She is a strong girl. Please do not do anything stupid again.” Seungsoo says to Kyungsoo. “I don’t want to lose her hyung. I can’t lose her. I can’t live without her.” He says to his brother again. Seungsoo pulls him into a hug trying to calm him down. “You won’t lose her. We won’t lose her. Do not think about it. I think you need to pray to calm yourself down. Go, I will update you if there is any news. Take your time. Ask God to save her. Don’t waste your time doing nothing, go pray for her safety.” Seungsoo advises him. Kyungsoo looks at him. “Thank you hyung. I am in a big mess. I need to clean myself first before praying.” He says looking at the blood stain on his shirt. “Here, I brought you some clean shirts from home. Go change. Be strong for your girl if you really do love her.” He says giving a bag to his brother. Kyungsoo nods. “I will be strong for my girl.” He then leaves to a nearby toilet to clean himself up and goes to look for any available room for him to pray. Seungsoo goes back to where his family is. No one is saying anything. Everyone seems to pray earnestly in their hearts for Lyn’s safety. “Oppa, are you okay?” His girlfriend, Yeeun asks him. He looks at her. He shakes his head. “How can I be okay when my precious sister is fighting for her life alone inside there? And I am here; I can’t do anything to help her.” He says looking at her with a bitter smile on his face.

“Come, sit here oppa.” Yeeun pulls him to the empty chair and sits next to Seungsoo. “We can pray for her safety, oppa. You don’t know how powerful prayers can be. God will listen to our prayer if we do it properly.” She says holding his hand. He looks at his side. He then nods. “You’re right. We can pray for my sister. Thanks for reminding me.” He says to her. Yeeun is thinking. She needs to distract his mind at the moment. He looks so weak. Something pops in her mind. “Oppa, I don’t really know Lyn ssi that much. Can you tell me everything about her? I want to know her more. Plus she is going to be my sister soon too, right? I want to know her so that when she wakes up, I can talk to her and befriend with her.” She intentionally asks him that question. He is surprised at the unexpected question. He looks at her. “Are you sure you want to know more about Lyn?” He asks. She immediately nods. “Yeah, of course oppa. I got misunderstood about her because I didn’t know her. I don’t want to repeat the same mistake. Please tell me everything about her.” She insists. He then nods. “Okay. I will tell you about my sweet sister, Lyn. She is not Korean by birth but I think she is truly Korean at heart right now. She is the youngest in her family but she is the one who spends years of her life abroad far away from her family. She finished her Bachelor, Master and now PHD degree outside of her country. She travels a lot without her family. She is very independent. She may look weak but she knows where and when to be firm. She is a very hard working lady. She is a very kind-hearted young girl. All of us fell in love with her at the very first sight. Her parents really raise her well. The whole family is wonderful. By they way, she is two years younger than you.” He shares. Yeeun can see his smile talking about his sister in law. She is glad that she picks the right topic.

“Now tell me when did they meet with each other? When did the relationship start?” Yeeun asks another question. Seungsoo smiles when Yeeun asks him that question. “Well, it was an arranged marriage for Lyn but it was not for Kyungsoo. So I can only say that their relationship only started after they got married to each other. They were never in any sorts of relationship before that.” He answers. Yeeun looks at him in confusion. “What do you mean by that? How can it be an arranged marriage for one side and not for another?” She asks again. He looks at her. “Kyungsoo saw her for the first time at the airport. He fell in love right away. Actually there is another story about how he got attracted with her but I will let you know about that later. He tried to look for her with very limited information and he was lucky enough to have found her. He personally contacted Lyn’s family and asked about her. Yeah, I know. He was very blunt. He was desperate to make her his. At that time, Lyn was still traumatized after being left on her wedding day by her previous fiancé. So marriage was something that she had nothing in mind. She was traumatized with men. So Kyungsoo had to convinve the family and amazingly he passed every test and that was when our family went there to have a more serious discussion on the wedding. Lyn was not there. It was her request. She didn’t want to involve in the wedding preparation. She agreed to the marriage after everyone in the family talked to her convincing her into the marriage. When she saw how convinced her whole family was, she decided to accept the proposal. But she never knew that she was about to marry Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo was beyond happy when the proposal was accepted. I never saw him acting that way. I was happy to see that side of him. He literally did all the wedding preparation to the most perfection he could get. He was so excited to marry his dream girl.” He shares the story with her. Yeeun is surprised to hear that. She thought that they were like a normal couple who met and fell in love then they decided to get married. But Lyn’s relationship with Kyungsoo is totally far from that.

Seeing how happy Seungsoo is just talking about her brother’s relationship with his wife, she knows that Lyn is someone special. “She must
