Yuri’s POV:

I woke up extra early today and for the 1st time in what felt like centuries I had a smile on my face. Today was the day of our trip and I was so excited. I ran around to wake up everyone else and ran to have a shower.  I quickly showered and got changed into some casual clothes. It wasn’t much just some blue denim shorts, black top and black converses. My hair got wavy from the shower and I decided leave it like that. It suited going to the beach anyway. I ran downstairs but I was too nervous to eat so I checked my suitcases another 3 times before I was satisfied.

It was another hour until we were all ready and we set off for the school. We talked until our jaws hurt from talking. We got to school and waited by the reception as instructed. It was so awkward not wearing our school uniforms in school. As we waited we heard a few wolf-whistles but we blew them off. None of us had eaten from excitement and we were starting to feel hungry again.

“Yah, did anyone bring some food? I’m starving.” I said. Sooyoung immediately replied:

“What do you think I’m here for? I’ve got a whole buffet in this bag!” She laughed while gesturing to her backpack. She dug around and brought out some snacks for us to munch on while everyone else filled up the reception waiting for the teachers to come. I decided to put in my earphones and listen to something that would get me in the mood for the trip. I played a happy, fast song and started tapping my foot to the beat.

“Yah Kwon Yuri what are you doing?” Someone pulled out my headphones and screamed in my ear. I jumped back and glared at the grinning Hyoyeon.

“Unnie what is wrong with you?” I complained. She shushed me and pointed up ahead. My eyes followed her finger until I saw Minho running into the reception. His face was red and sweaty from running and he was panting hard. I giggled a little seeing him looking so... not like Minho. He heard the giggle and looked until he found the person who was giggling. He grinned and said:

“What’s so funny Kwon?” he said in a wannabe macho voice. I laughed harder at that. He looked so confused when I laughed and it only made me laugh harder. He flopped down beside and poked me hard in the head. I immediately stopped laughing.

“What was that for?” I asked while rubbing my head. He chuckled and said:

“That was for laughing at me.”

“You didn’t have to poke that hard.” I said while pouting.

What am I doing? I never pout!

“Mianhe Yuri. Will you forgive me?” He said with aeygo and doing puppy eyes. Darn it, it was too cute for me to handle.

“I will if you stop doing that face!” I laughed.

“Mwoh! Don’t you find this cute?” He looked shocked.

“No it’s really wierd.” He looked insulted and crossed his arms.

“Fine I won’t talk to you anymore.” I rolled my eyes and put on my best aeygo.

“Minho oppa, why won’t you talk to me?” I could see a small smile form on his face and I continued to annoy him until he said:

“Fine, fine! I’ll keep talking to you!” I chuckled and fell silent as the teacher walked in and took a register and then we all piled into the minibus. I sat with Sooyoung at the back and we chatted and ate food to our hearts content. I could see why we had to arrive at school early; if we had set off any later we would arrive in the evening, however we would arrive in time for lunch and would immediately begin our activities.

We arrived and the view of the beach took my breath away. The sky was a crisp blue and the golden sand glistened in the sun. The waves lapped gently over the sand; it was peaceful and serene. I followed the girls to a row of dormitories. The girls and boys had separate dorms (obviously!) and we would find our roommates name on the doors as we went inside. The roommate plan went like this:

There were 2 floors (not including the ground floor) so I walked up and into my room and I was astounded by its beauty. The four-poster bed was white but had waves of cream and blue which reminded me perfectly of the beach.
