Called Me "Jae"
Business Engagement"Jessica…Sica, wait up! Ugh, gosh! Jessica! I said to wait up!" Jaejoong ran across the street to catch with Jessica, who tried to walk faster and faster. He finally had his grip on Jessica's wrist, making her turn her body around and face him. "Jessica, why are you so angry at me? What did I do this time?"
"Drop it. I'm not angry at you," Jessica grumbled, crossing her arms.
"Then why did you just run away like that? You sounded really mad," Jaejoong pointed out. Jessica sighed and threw her arms up in the air.
"It's Yoona," Jessica muttered coldly.
"Yoona? What did she do?" Jaejoong asked. Jessica glared at him with her cold, fierce eyes.
"What did she do? What did she do?" Jessica let out a bitter laugh. "Jae, she started flirting with you! It was so obvious that she wanted to be alone with you! How can you ask me such a question? Didn't you see how she was flirting right in front of me?"
Silence filled the atmosphere, as Jessica began to pant angrily. She clenched her fist, ready to hit Jaejoong whenever she could. Suddenly, he broke into a cheesy grin.
"You called me 'Jae'," Jaejoong said. Jessica frowned.
"What?"
"You called me 'Jae'," he repeated, smiling even more. Jessica rolled her eyes, as she mumbled the words she just said to herself. Suddenly, her brown eyes widened as she blushed. Jaejoong, who saw Jessica blushing, bit his tongue to keep himself from laughing. However, he couldn't help himself and began to burst into little chuckles.
"Y-You shut up!" Jessica stuttered, flustered. Jaejoong covered his mouth to keep himself from laughing. "S-Shut up! You're changing the subject here!"
"I-I can't help it! It's too funny!" Jaejoong laughed, wiping away a tear. Jessica scowled and walked away, but realized that Jaejoong was still holding onto her wrist.
"Let go!" she demanded. Jaejoong stopped laughing and looked down at his hands. He immediately let go, embarrassed. Jessica rolled her eyes again and stormed off.
"W-Wait!" Jaejoong shouted. "Jessica…Sica! C'mon let's talk about this!"
"NO!" Jessica screamed. Jaejoong pouted and followed right behind Jessica.
"What?! Jessica…Jessica! Jessica!!!"
Yoona sighed to herself as she watched Jaejoong running towards Jessica. She leaned against the stop sign, staring enviously at Jessica.
Why does she always get the guys? Yoona wondered. Why can't I ever get whatever I want?
The scene of her yelling at Changmin earlier replayed in her mind. She shook her head and stared at Jaejoong. She felt somewhat embarrassed of screaming at Changmin, and felt bad for him. She shook her head against, but this time faster.
Why is my mind on Changmin right now? Focus, Yoona! It's Jaejoong oppa you're after! Jaejoong oppa!
"Okay, so how about if I make it up to you?" Jaejoong offered. Jessica frowned and ignored Jaejoong.
"Just take me home," Jessica mumbled. Jaejoong scratched his head.
"Okay, fine. So when we go home, should we–"
"When I mean just take me home, I mean just drop me off at my house and get out of my house," Jessica muttered. Jaejoong bit his lips.
"But–"
"Forget it! I'm taking the bus!" Jessica said, groaning. She was about to get out of the car when Jaejoong grabbed Jessica's shirt.
"NO!" Jaejoong shouted. "Don't you know the horrible way the buses collect their money?"
"With coins?"
"Exactly. Just take a ride in my car!"
"How can I ride your car when you're so annoying?"
"Just get in!"
Jessica growled angrily. "I said I'm going to take the bus!"
"But the bus costs money!"
"It's only a few coins," Jessica pointed out.
Jaejoong groaned and messed up his rich, black hair, "Aw, come on! What do have to do to make you stay in the car?"
"Forget it, Jaejoong. I'm taking the bus."
"I said no!"
"Why are you so against the idea of me riding the bus? I've rode the bus plenty of times!" Jessica exclaimed. Jaejoong pulled on Jessica's shirt, making her yelp and plop down back on the seat. Jaejoong kept a frown and closed the door, reaching over Jessica to grab her seatbelt. She blushed a bit.
"Forget it. It's best if we just have a nice time together, drive back home, and drop you off. I will not let my future wife get on the bus when I'm available to drive you back home," Jaejoong declared. Jessica crossed her arms after hearing a click.
"F-Fine," she stuttered. "I-I don't care. Do whatever you want."
But deep inside, she was glad that Jaejoong tried to convince her to stay with him.
