All the girls in the world are greedy creatures, they want something they can’t have. It’s all so predictable because it’s the same pattern over and over again.

I want to be pretty...
I want to be more popular...
I want to be more talented...
I want to be richer...

Nari, a student in the prestigious school for the rich and smart. She is both rich and smart but she’s just another ordinary student with slightly plump physique who wanted nothing more than to stand out more among her schoolmates. She envied Jaekyung, the most popular girl in the school who is coincidentally in the same class as her.

She saw how boys flocked around her and gave her everything she wanted, even helping her with stuff she was supposed to do that was assigned by the teacher. Despite her popularity, she’s snobbish and stuck up, Nari would always be a prey to her pranks and made her do all her homework. Today is no different either.

‘This ! Why do I have to do her homework while she goes out shopping with her boyfriends?!’ She grumbled, pushing the glasses back up her nose bridge. Her friend, Chaewon helps her out occasionally and listens to her rants whenever she was bullied by Jaekyung. ‘You know, you really should talk back to her. You doing everything she says is not gonna make things better, you know? When are you gonna stand up and fight?’ She said as she set the book aside and started on a new one.

Along the way back, she walked in front of a mirror and saw her reflection. It made her thought about Jaekyung and she cursed at how ugly she looked compared to her.

I wish I’m as popular as her…
I wish that I’m prettier than her…

‘I can grant your wish if that’s what you desire, Nari.’ Her reflection spoke and it shocked her so much that she fell onto the floor, horrified. It changed form and became a beautiful girl with long hair and wearing the same uniform as her but in black and red. ‘P-P-Prez…?’ She stuttered as she stood up. ‘No, my name is (F/N). I only looked similar to her in terms of appearance and I’m the Guardian of The Eden.’ You bowed to her as you smirked, enjoying the terrified look on her face.

‘W-What do you want from me?’ ‘I believe it’s you who wants something and I can give you what your heart desires, come with me and I will give you what you want.’ Without warning, you pulled her hand into the mirror and just like that, the hallway became empty with no traces of Nari ever walking there as she fainted.

When Nari woke up the next moring and was shocked to find that she had changed into a completely different person, she was prettier than her old self. Slimmer, prettier, ier, everything she wanted. She was happy with the transformation as she jumped in joy. When she went downstairs to join her family for breakfast, no one seemed to notice anything out of the ordinary as if she was already like this since she was just a child.

Things just get better when she went to school, the boys flocked around her and offered to do everything for her, her popularity is literally through the roof.  This is what I really wanted! She thought to herself happily. She chatted with the boys until she was interrupted by Jaekyung rudely, yanking her down to her eye level.

‘How can you be this popular?!’ She demanded and one of the boys pushed her away. ‘How can you do this to our beloved Nari?! Apologize to her immediately!’ Jaekyung was well-known for being stubborn and it was no surprise that she wouldn’t do as she was told. ‘Never!’ She spat through her teeth. The boy then slapped her hard right across the face and left a red, stinging mark on her face. Nari jumped slightly at the sound of the slap and the weird behaviour of the boy but she dismissed the thought as Jaekyung deserving it and paid no mind to it. It’s so fun being adored and she’d rather die than go back to who she was.

You perched on top of the tree as you watched her every moment, she is now being escorted back home by two of her classmates who just so happened to be the school’s handsomest boys. Things are going well it seems, might as well pay her a visit. You thought to yourself. You were so busy in your train of thoughts that you didn’t hear your partner speaking to you.

‘I’ve been here for almost five minutes already. Tell me, what is on your mind so much that you’re not paying attention to me?’ The boy asked. ‘It’s nothing, Jongdae. I’m just observing to see if this round of game would really be fun or turn out to be the same thing again.’ You smiled at him. ‘You really are sadistic you know that? But I like that side of you, proves that you’re strong enough to be my partner.’ He laid his head on your shoulder. ‘I can be a lot more stronger than you think, if you’re thinking of challenging me, just put that thought away because you know you won’t win against me.’ You flicked his forehead and you were gone in an instant, leaving only a smirking Jongdae behind.

Nari jumped slightly at the sight of you and it amused you. ‘Jeez, you really should stop appearing like that!’ She complained. ‘You’ll get used to it eventually.’ You shrugged it off. She sighed and flipped her hair. ‘Look, I’m here to give you a few instructions and you must obey them or misfortune will befall you.’ You said with a stern tone and she listened attentively.

‘This perfume will prolong and help you but don’t spray it more than once in a lot of quantity because bad things will happen when you do so, spray only once every three days. Do I make myself clear?’ She nodded. ‘Good.’ Let’s see how long this one will last. You thought to yourself as you disappeared.

Nari held up the bottle you had given her, it was really beautiful. It was made of clear crystal and cut perfectly in the shape of a diamond, a pinkish-purple liquid flowed inside. When she opened the lid, the smell attacked her nose in a wonderful way. When she took a whiff again, she could vaguely smell the mixed scent of diamond lilies, roses, lemo
