Even though he didn't show as much affection as you wanted him to, you could tell that he loves you dearly when he gave you small pecks shyly or when he growled at other guys for checking you out.

You've been supporting him when he went for audition in SM, you cheered for him by the sidelines when he became an idol. No one knows about your relationship with Kai except for your family and close friends.

Today, you were feeling off when you woke up in your bed. You paid the toilet a lot of visits and something definitely didn't feel right as you ran to the toilet again and puked your guts out, feeling the bile rushing up your throat. Things didn't make it better at the fact that you were alone in your own house with no one to take care of you.

You felt sluggish as you propped yourself out of the toilet, feeling light-headed and nauseous. Your phone which was placed on the table beside your bed rang like there's no tomorrow, you sat on your bed and picked up your phone.

'Hello...?' your hoarse, raspy voice croaked into the phone. 'Yah, jagiya!! Are you sick?!' Kai asked anxiously through the phone, concern is evident in his voice even though you can't see him. 'It's nothing, Jongin. I'll probably be ok by the time you get back anyway so don't trouble yourself to come over here, just contiue with whatever it was you're trying to tell me earlier.'
