Mission!
Stupid You,
"Well I don't know if you remember, but you still have my shirt. And I still have the dress shirt you lent me." he says, matter-of-factly.
"Uh... Yeah, I know. But why am I not going home? What you said has nothing to do with you not bringing-"
"Don't make things difficult okay? Just come with me to get your shirt, and give me my shirt back." He says, as he sighs. What does he even mean?! I'm really lost.
"But... Why can't you just...bring it back here by yourself…?" I ask, still confused.
He stares at me, with a confused look as well,
"... You lost me. Why would you give me my shirt back if I don't have yours to give back to you? Don’t you think that I might not give it back? Ever?" He asks, completely lost. He’s such a weirdo, who asks things like that?! But to be honest... He does have a point… But it's still weird how HE brings it up and not me.
"I'll just give you your shirt back first, and... Yeah, start with that I guess." I say slowly, almost asking instead of telling him. Are you confused? I am. And this is my story. Haha. He's just weird. I hand him the shirt, but he just looks at it, not moving a muscle.
"Okay then..." I say as I slowly put it down on the counter.
"Well... There seems to be a dilemma." he begins. "The thing is... Something happened to your shirt, and I feel bad, so I need to replace it."
"What happened to it?" I ask, curious. I mean, what could have possibly happened to it over the course of 2 days?
"... I don't have it anymore."
"Why?..." What. Did. He. Just. Say?
"Stop asking and just come to make sure I get the right one okay?!" He says quickly, sounding frustrated.
And dear reader, I will save you from the stupid argument that followed that line, the argument was literally:
"No! I'm not going with you"
"Just come! Why are you so difficult?!"
"No! Not going!!"
"C'mon!"
"No!"
"Come!"
"No!"
"Why not!?"
"No!"
"That makes no sense!"
"… So? Still not going!”
… And so on, haha, and unfortunately I did eventually give in, and we set off to find the shirt. Not because I wanted to, but because Yejin will kill me when she found out that I lied to her about what happened during her trip. And she would find out that something was fishy because there was a uniform shirt that wasn’t the same brand/size/shade of white as the others. And that would’ve been because Donghae couldn’t properly replace the shirt that he lost. Phew… feels good to explain myself, Haha.
We walk down the street, and I see him pull out car keys. He presses the button and a car beeps. WOAH, nice car. A Porsche. Wow.
"You can get into the car yourself right?" he asks seriously.
"Yeah, are you dumb? I hate it when guys open car doors for girls, it’s so dumb." Honestly, I do find it awkward, I mean why does the girl just sit in the car and wait? It makes no sense.
"Mm." he nods before going to the driver's seat. I get inside, and fasten my seatbelt as he starts the car.
"So, you know what store your aunt gets the shirts from?" he asks,
"Nope, but I brought another one, so it has to be the same brand and as long as it looks the same it should be good"
"Okay." He replies, a little awkwardly as he drives towards the busier part of the city.
Anyways, I know what you're thinking, why so specific about the shirt? Well, if you haven't figured it out, Yejin is quite… special. Yes. That’s the right word, special. And she’s very particular about certain things. She would definitely notice if it wasn't the same brand and size. It would've been so much easier if she wasn't so observant, and scary when she’s irritated. I get goosebumps just thinking about when she gets mad.
