Seunghyun's POV:

"Hyung, you sure you wanna do that?" Hyungjoo asks hesitantly.

"Yeah. I think it's the right thing to do." I answer.

"But... Won't it just make everything harder for the both of them...?" Hyukshin asks, unsure.

"Well... I don't really care if Donghae feels worse. He deserves it doesn't he?" I answer. The three across from me exchange uneasy glances.

"Seunghyun, I need to talk to you about something." Kim Bum interrupts after being silent for the whole conversation. He looks so serious.

"Okay. What?"

"Wanna go for a drive?" he asks. A drive?...  "Uh..."

"We'll watch Gaheun. Don't worry about her." Hyungjoo encourages me to go.

"Okay then. Let's go." I tell Kim Bum.

Kim Bum's POV:

                What can I say to him?... 'You're torturing some guy for no reason,'? 'You're father is an evil murderer who's just using you to get what he wants'? 'You're father told your girlfriend to commit suicide'?    None of these starters will end well. Maybe I should give him his- Damn it... I forgot his letter in my desk.

"So what's up with you?" Seunghyun asks casually.

"Do you really not care that you're torturing-"

"So that's what it is. But I don't care for him. Why would I? He killed Minkyung." But that's not true.

"You've made friends with him, haven't you?" he asks, accusing me. I'm not gonna lie to him; I do feel some sort of bond with Donghae. Why? I have no clue.

"..."

"Kim Bum, you're too friendly." Seunghyun shakes his head.

"So... You're not changing your mind, are you?"

"Okay. Fine, I'll admit it to you. I wanted to bring Donghae to see Gaheun again, for her sake."

"But don't you think Gaheun will have it harder once he's... You know..."

"It will be. But, I thought about when I was in their position. Even if I knew Minkyung was going to die, I would’ve wanted to see her one more time. Even if it hurt." So he is thinking of them both... The big softy.

"And I'm not a softy. I know that you're thinking I am right now." he says. Weird, how did he know?

"Okay. Up to you."

"No it is." he snorts. What a jerk, haha.

"There's something else I want you to know,"

"What?"

"Not everything is what it seems... You don't know it yet, but the story isn't what we thought it was." he debates my words for a bit.

"You let them talk you into believing their side?" he looks mad.

"No. But... Think about it, how could Gaheun love a killer?" he sat, unmoving for a while. He purses his lips, and exhales. I realize right after I say it, I could be directing it to him as well, didn’t mean to, but it does sound like it.
 
 

                The car ride was silent the rest of the way back. I wonder what he's thinking... He should believe me, right?
