Suri’s phone vibrated under her pillow, she took it out and there was a text from Kris.

“Text me, your address, I’ll come by and pick you up tomorrow,” {texting form}

Suri chewed her bottom lip and replied “Just tell me where to meet you and I’ll be there. I’m at my friend’s house.”

A few minutes later, her phone vibrated again.

“Okay, come by the office at lunch hour.”

Suri sighed, thank god Kris isn’t a pushy type of guy “Got it. See you tomorrow.” She sent.

She shoved her phone back under the pillow and lay on her back, staring at the ceiling, watching as the shadows of the trees move as every vehicle pass by.
