After spending 2 days and 3 nights in Milan, both of them returned to Seoul, and everything went back to normal.

Suri pretended the kiss never happened; Kris remembered what he did but pretended it didn’t happen as well. Both of them have been pretending and acting like there’s nothing going on between them when there is.

Like always, Kris is at the office, and Suri wasted her time doing nothing at home. The girl was about to cook herself a lunch, but stop when Kris called her.

“Hey~ My mother just called and invited us over the Wu’s mansion for lunch. Do you want to go?” He asked.

Suri chuckled “I was about to make lunch for myself, but since you called in the perfect time, why not?”

“Alright, I’ll be there in 15 minutes.” He said before hanging up the phone. Suri looked around the house before bolting into her room to change.

Right on time, 15 minutes later, Kris arrived. He told her to come straight down to the lobby. The moment Suri came out of the building, Kris had momentarily stopped breathing.

Suri was wearing a knee-length blue floral sundress with a black cardigan on top, and her hair let down. She wanted to wear a pair of jeans to cover her legs, but then she wanted to change everything about her, for Kris and for herself, so she pushed the jeans away.

Kris got out of the car, walking over to the passenger’s side and opened the door for her. He couldn’t stop looking at her.

Before entering the car, Suri smiled at Kris “Hi~” Kris smiled nervously “H-Hi.” Once Suri got in the car, Kris mentally kick himself “What the hell was that?” and walked back to the driver’s seat.

The entire drive to the Wu’s mansion was quiet; no one said anything, just the sound of the radio playing.

After a while, both of them finally arrived at the Wu’s mansion. Suri got out of the car first, the silence was killing her, and she wanted to get away from Kris as far as she could.

Suri was about to walk up to the front door, but stopped when Kris got a hold of her wrist. Surprisingly, she didn’t flinch or jumped at the sudden skin-ship.

“Are you okay?” He asked. Suri quickly nodding her head with a small smile “I’m fine. Why wouldn’t I be?”

Kris shook his head, letting her hand go. They walked together towards the front door. While waiting for the door to be opened, Kris managed to compliment Suri “You look beautiful.”

Suri blushed, she didn’t know what to say, but thank God! Mrs. Wu, Suri’s mother-in-law opened the door right on time.

MeiLi beamed at the sight of Suri in a vibrant looking sundress, especially with those natural blushes on her cheeks. Mama Wu couldn’t be more happier to realize that Kris had done or said something to the girl to make her like that.

“Come in~” Mama Wu hugged Suri first “I miss you so much!” Kris had to roll his eyes at the sight. His mother smirk “Jealous much?”

Then Grandma Wu came out of the kitchen looking elegant and wise as always “Suri! My granddaughter, come here. Where have you been? I miss you.” The elder hugged her with affection.

Suri laughed slightly “I’m just at home. I miss all of you as well, so much.” Kris carefully slid his arm on her waist “She’s just been busy.”

“Uhmm~ Busy with you or busy with something else?” Grandma Wu mocked them with a smirk quirking up the end of her right lip.

The girl’s cheeks reddened to shades of pink. Kris coughed; he too blushed at the indirect words “Grandmamma!”

Grandma Wu laughed at the embarrass childrens; Mama Wu just rolled her eyes at her mother-in-law’s antics “Oh mama, give it a rest. They just got married 2 months ago.”

“Alright, alright! So what is she busy with?” Grandma Wu asked again with all seriousness. Suri gave Kris a look telling him not to say anything, but he just doesn’t get it, and so he blurt
