{Chapter 19 – Planning the Wedding} (E)
Suri [COMPLETE]{No BGM}
--------------------------------------------------
It was the perfect weekend to be staying in bed longer, but unfortunately Suri had some plans made unexpectedly with Kris’s mother and grandmother.
She had to pout at the inviting looking bed and forced herself to get a shower quick before she decided to doze off again.
While the ladies are on their way to Kris’s penthouse, Suri took her time to make herself a breakfast.
“Omnomnomnom” her breakfast was only a cup of instant ramyeon that she stored up in one of Kris’s kitchen cabinet few days ago.
As she slurped in her noodles, her phone rang. “Hello,” Suri answered with full.
The person at the end of the line chuckled “Good morning to you too.” Suri pulled her phone away from her ear to check who the caller ID belongs to.
“What do you want?” She grumbles once she found out it was Kris. “Aye! Can’t I call my fiancée just to tell her that she’s the most beautiful girl I’ve met and I can’t wait to marry her?”
Suri snorted “Sure. You’re just bragging about me aren’t you?” continue to take a swig of her ramyeon.
“Aish, you’re too smart for my own good.” He laughed lightly “What are you eating?”
Suri rolled her eyes “Ramyun.” The line went quiet for a moment “For breakfast?” He asked.
“Yush.”
Suri could hear Kris’s nose flaring in a displeased manner. “Don’t you know how real breakfast look like? It’s not ramyeon, and it’s especially not good for you.” He said matter of fact.
She sighed silently “I know how real breakfast look like” Mocking his tone “Just so you know, this is the only thing that I can afford, and I’ve eaten this for the past 21 years, and! I’m still alive.”
“Y-” Suri quickly cut him off “Your mom and grandma are here. I’m hanging up.” Before she ended the call, she swiftly added “Don’t call them to take me for a breakfast. I’m already full. Bye.”
Kris gave his phone an amused look, smiling like an idiot without him knowing. Every staff that walked passed him were shocked to see Kris happy so casually, and they have never seen him like that.
“What about the bridesmaid? Anyone in mind?” Mrs. Wu asked as she twiddled the pen in between her fingers.
All these wedding talk-slash-planning was making Suri feeling nausea, she wanted to run away, but quickly told herself to it up and deal with it.
“Is that really necessary?” Suri sighed silently. Mrs. Wu nod her head excitedly “Very necessary. Well, not really, but you must have someone in mind to share the beautiful day with you.”
Suri thought deeply, the only girl-friend she has is her co-worker at School Food, Minah. That girl is bubbly, outspoken and friendly, everyone wanted to be her friends, but Minah chooses her own friend, and she chose Suri for some odd reason.
