“Suri, a lady at the VIP table is asking for you.” One of her co-workers said. Suri chucked the small notepad inside the pocket in front of her half apron.

She hung her head low, heaving a sigh almost instantly once she saw who the lady sitting at the VIP table was. Nara, Kris’s clingy girlfriend.

Suri approached the table nevertheless, clearing . Nara started off by smirking as if she was so much better than Suri, eyeing the uniform from bottom to top in a disgusted manner.

“I’m the best candidate of being the next Mrs. Wu, and he chose you out of all the girls in this country,” Nara smirked again.

Suri poked her inside cheeks out, rolling her eyes “If you’re here to insult me, please don’t waste your time. I have better things to do than hear you whine that you should’ve been the next Mrs. Wu.”

Nara’s smirk fell once Suri was her heels; she abruptly stood up from her table, now standing behind Suri, wanting to give her piece of her mind.

Suri spun back around to find Nara looking smug as always. “You’re right, but let me just tell you this. Even if you’re already married to him, bear his name for a while and have a share few of his fortunes and fame, but that’s it. That is all that he can give you. His heart belongs to me. He will never want to share his bed with you; he won’t even care about you. You’re just his way to get what he wants from his parents. Once his parents is convinced that you guys are happy, they’ll hand over every fortune they got to his name, and he’ll divorce you as fast as he can to be with me. S
