“You don’t have to feel sorry for what happened to me, just act like I never told you anything.” Suri said not meeting Kris’s eyes.

Kris pressed his lips into a thin line, also not meeting her eyes “I’m not doing this for that.”

Suri raised a curious eyebrow “Then what is this dinner for?” She asked.

Well, part of the reason to bring her out on a dinner was for the things she had told him yesterday. It took a lot of courage to open up like that, especially to someone like Kris. And that made Kris respect Suri even more.

Another reason was that he wanted to start things over with her. The process of having a baby might be long way to go, but it’s not wrong to start their relationship with being friends first.

“This dinner is a way of me apologizing to you after all the things I did to you. And I wanted you to know that I’ve officially broken up with Nara this time.” He smiled slightly, feeling relieved.

Suri slowly nodded her head “Why are you telling me this?” she furrowed.

Kris opened his mouth and closed it back like a fish; he really has no answer for that question. ‘Why am I telling her this anyway?’

“It’s…uh…A start!” He said excitedly. Suri’s frown deepened “A start? What are you talking about?”

Now the table has turned, Kris is the one that’s nervous as hell, fidgeting on his seat, palms sweating and all. Those entire ultra-cool guy image he had earlier, had slowly dispersed into thin air.

Suri’s head slightly jerked back, she found that statement a bit hard to believe. ‘This is weird…Kris doesn’t seem the type of person to be in the friendship circle.’
